    One of the best graphics in games atm! Addictive gameplay. Feels like most of the players 10+ level already know what to do and how to play the game properly.
    Great level design super interesting to explore. Most detailed Warhammer 40K representation in entertainment too date! Hoping for more content soon but this will do for now. Really enjoying this one!

    Performance is not the hottest, some features we're still waiting on, but probably one of the most fun games I've played this year. Game play is phenomenal and addicting, visuals are stunning and the audio is some of best I've heard in gaming in quite a long while.

    So much is done right with this game. Is FUN as hell, great core gameplay, environments look stunning and it feels very true to the 40k lore. Got a few cashes on launch day, but its only a matter of time before those are solved. Its only 40 dollars, got nothing to complain about really . Great game!

The gameplay loop seems like it could be somewhat repetitive but if they follow their plans for updating missions I could see myself enjoying this for a long time. Some minor bugs but otherwise solid performance. Also it captures the 40k universe in a way that really appeals to me and I am enjoying the chance to look at the world from a completelyGame looks great and is a lot of fun.     It is very common today to review bomb games and give them your worst review because you are unhappy about something. I understand people have problems with crashes and performance. But if you think about it, those are kind of small problems and will soon be fixed.

    Fatshark does not deserve a 0/10 for this game.     I have played for about 60 hours this last week and I have had an amazing time. I have so much fun together with my friends. So many laughs and good times that I will remember forever. Challenging gameplay that keeps me and my friends on our toes. Fantastic sound design, incredible level design, and artwork. The scale of the world is amazing. I can't wait what the future of Darktide has in store for us.

    I have to give this game a 10 to counteract the 1/10 people give. If people would rate it fairer, I'd give it a 9/10, easily. Good job Fatshark!    … Expand

    Great attention to detail; Deep customization.
    Bad- Mild technical issues; Gameplay isn’t particularly forward-thinking. Thoughts- Darktide doesn’t shed the trappings of this tried-and-true formula quite enough to feel like a true evolution of the genre, but its excellent combat, a finely-detailed world, and addictive progression systems are what really count in a game like    Good-

    Thoughts-
    Darktide doesn’t shed the trappings of this tried-and-true formula quite enough to feel like a true evolution of the genre, but its excellent combat, a finely-detailed world, and addictive progression systems are what really count in a game like this and Darktide nails those things about as well as could be reasonably expected at this point, especially for a game that is launching at a rather low price. Some occasional technical issues and an unwillingness to truly burst out of the norms for the genre keep it from reaching enormous heights, but within the confines it sets for itself, this is about as good as it gets.    … Expand

    In general is the game fun to play, the Warhammer 40K world is beautiful.

    If you disable Raytracing, will help tp get rid of a lot of performance problems.

    Don't listen to the echo chamber of people giving 1 just because of some bugs and an in-game shop with cosmetics...

    The game is awesome, graphics are great and although there is a problem with optimisation, if your right is on minimal required then you'll be able to play it on low without any issues (unless crash but I didn't have any since release and I have 100 hours).     Main aspect of game - killing hordes with melee and missiles is perfected. Can't quite explain the feeling but killing enemy with a box of grenades thrown has that "Ommphh" to it :D

    If you don't care that there are COSMETICS shop in the game then there is not really much you can say against the game.

    For 40$ you have a full game for around 150 hours of gameplay that will get updates (right now there is no end game but it will change in a couple of updates :) ).

    I'll change my rating to 10 when Fat Shark adds end game and some more weapons to have fun.    … Expand

Yes, optional microtransactions for skins.... mmhh okay, no need for that but there's no pay-to-win mechanic. And of course review bombers, for whatever reason, do review bombing as always.     Yes, the game is buggy right now, FPS isn’t always what it should be, and it crashes once in a while, but the core gameplay and mechanics are solid and brutal. Great game for casual gamers and 40k fans alike.

    If you are a "Vermintide 2 player with 2000 hours", then you are in the infinitesimal minority. You are less than 0.0001% of the community. If you are NOT "Vermintide 2 player with 2000 hours", then you are in the 99% category. Is this game for you? Yes it is. It is a great game.

    Vermintide 3 with extremely addicting gameplay + Warhammer 40K lore. Honestly, I haven't played this, but two friends are completely missing in action since Darktide released. The only reason we know they are alive and well, and not kidnapped or dead, is because Steam Friends consistently shows them in-game. 9/10 would lose my friends again.

    This game is so well done. The graphics, the physics, the sound design, the music and the combat are amazing. This game is the best Co-op game I have ever played. Yes there are some issues, but the minor shortcomings are getting completely exaggerated. Ignore the haters and try this for yourself. You won't regret it.     Love this game! Glad it's on GAME PASS, would've never stumbled into it otherwise.

    Pro: +NO SILLY STORY (i can finally play an actual GAME without watching a DAMN MOVIE!) +NO STORY (God damn i'm so happy about that!) +Graphics / No UE4 Engine (it actually looks very "next gen" and has some great lighting +Atmosphere +Enjoyable Gunplay +no story +no bugs (started playing at    Love this game!     Excelente videojuego, ha ido mejorando con la ultimas actualizaciónes.
    En el apartado gráfico no es muy sobresaliente.
    Jugabilidad es muy similar a Vermintide
    El OST, majestuoso.

    J'ai acheté le jeu en mai 2023 et j'y joue depuis avec beaucoup de plaisir.
    Je n'avais pas ressenti cela depuis left for dead 2.
    Les niveaux sont géniaux avec une architecture organique, on ne se lasse pas d'y revenir. La puissance des armes est superbement retranscrite se qui contribue à une immersion totale.     Excellent game, does warhammer right. The music, graphics, designs, characters, VA work, everything. The set-pieces are absolutely stunning to walk through and incorporate some incredibly beautiful environments, and the gameplay is super addicting.

    You can also enjoy the game on your own, as the game searches for mission partners automatically, or you can play against a bot. However, since it is mainly a coop action, it will always be better with friends. [Issue#324]

    All of these details come together to form a fairly lifeless game – one with all the fixings and foundation of another epic showcase but without any of the polish or love that is so evident in the team’s previous undertaking. Now I know for a fact this game is going to be incredible. I have confidence in Fatshark; they’ve earned that by showing how much they care about their work and their player base. But, right now, in its current state, there’s simply no way I can call it a worthy successor. The gunplay is wonderful and I’ll no doubt continue to dip in here and there, but longer sessions quickly become dull and there’s no real hook, no grand finale, to motivate me to push on. I can’t wait to see what it’ll become but, in the meantime, I think I’ll take a look back and revel in the masterful predecessor, Vermintide 2, and all of the juicy extra content I never got to dive into. TL;DR Age of Sigmar > 40k.

    Darktide has a lot going for it — a beloved IP, crunchy gunplay, and a gorgeous presentation. Sadly, it’s not the endlessly-playable showstopper some had hoped, instead offering a repetitious gameplay cycle made more apparent by slow progression and little mission variation. It’s clear Fatshark has further plans for their latest endeavor and it may yet reach its full potential after a few patches and expansions, but for now it’s best to set expectations.
