    Preordered it, played it, refunded it

    Blizzard did not provide what they promised. it failed to live up to expectations, it ruined its original game, the Blizzard I grew up with is long gone

    I actually didn't buy the game.. was planning too, but when i saw that you literally butchered my childhood game, to an extent that i couldn't even imagine, i made an account on metacritic just so that i can show my disappointment. This game, and Blizzard, are dead. And it truly marks the time we live of "game as a service" and "gamers as costumers".     From now on, this game should be referred as Warcraft 3: reFAIL. There are no words to describe the disappointment that occurred mostly, as a result of false advertisement. We received a tiny portion of what we’ve been promised! Blizzard that we all loved is no more, as the only concern they have now (along with ACtivision) is pure profits. I think that even the term reforged, wereFrom now on, this game should be referred as Warcraft 3: reFAIL. There are no words to describe the disappointment that occurred mostly, as a result of false advertisement. We received a tiny portion of what we’ve been promised! Blizzard that we all loved is no more, as the only concern they have now (along with ACtivision) is pure profits. I think that even the term reforged, were intentionally used to make you believe that it’s something more then updated graphics. There is no point to go into details. They will fix bugs, make a better optimization, eventually..but we all been lied upon. And that is a good sight, at least for me, to stop supporting the company in any ways. Congrats, Blizzard and Activision. You achieved something more then profits here, no trust, no pity to you now, you bustards!     - No new UI - No new cut-scenes (just the old ones rescaled) - Lots of old features missing It looks like the devs gave up on this project in the middle of the way.     Maybe when Blizzard is on the brink of bankruptcy. Then he will understand his mistakes. Reforged is a total mistake something like this should not see the light of day. Crossing the new version with the old version from 2002 is a major mistake.

    Made a metacritic account just to add my disappointment to the collective. I grew up with Blizzard, and now.. this sorry excuse of a cashgrab. I miss the old blizz so much. RIP

Не приносите помойным корпорациям легкие деньги, они же от вас этого и ждут. Научитесь их разочаровывать, и тогда они начнут вас радовать. Потому что для них важны только деньги, а если не платить им за их халтуру, то они начнут реально стараться и делать качественные продукты. Потому что будут таковы правила рынка, а с другим подходом тебе банально на нем не будем места. Те дауны что поставили положительные оценки, а именно 515 человек, знайте и за вас игровая индустрия в дерьма. Надеюсь в аду для вас будет отдельный котел. When I asked Blizzard for a solution, they told me to re-purchase the game that I had already paid for. Why would I buy something from a company who treats their customers this way? I'll spend my money somewhere else.

    Esse e o pior tipo de remasterização possível em um jogo. Somente deram update nas texturas e estão cobrando extremamente caro nisso, o valor de um jogo completo sem novidades nenhuma. E ainda por cima mataram o cliente antigo do jogo, e mudaram a politica de criação de mapas. TUDO O QUE VC FAZ E PROPRIEDADE DA BLIZZARD. Acabou com o desenvolvimentos de jogos com a ferramenta. Nao compremEsse e o pior tipo de remasterização possível em um jogo. Somente deram update nas texturas e estão cobrando extremamente caro nisso, o valor de um jogo completo sem novidades nenhuma.     A pathetic excuse for a game, broken and hella nerfed campaign, ony 3 maps having any improvements, no cutscene improvements that were prommised, massive amount of bugs and problems, multiplayer basically unplayable. And now they refuse refounds. Pathetic.

    It is literally just new models. It is nothing like shown on Blizzcon. What a headshot to a game that is my childhood. Caused by a greedy company that only cares about money and nothing else. Blizzard as we know it is dead.

    30€ warcraft 3 refunded with new bugs and missing features. u will enjoy campaign if u havent played it in 15 year or so.
    Its sad great gaming company fallen so low in few year because of activion blizzard.
    Not much faith for Diablo 2 remake and Diablo 4...

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
