    It physically galls me that some MENSA candidate at Blizzard figured out how to commit an act of historical revisionism this egregious. This was a worse revision of a beloved franchise than what Ninja Theory did to Devil May Cry, and that had slides about how Classic Dante belongs in Brokeback Mountain.

    disgraced to all the old developers who made warcraft 3. sad times. The UI has to be the worst thing about reforged. It's like the new developers have never played the old version.

    Activision-Blizzard found a new way to ruin an old game. I once wished for a remastered version of Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 but now I wish nothing more than for those games to be left alone. Activision blizzard is not the Blizzard I grew up with in the 90s.

    This game could not have underdelivered worse. Blizzard promised updated cutscenes, quality cinematics, and revamped multi-player and we got a half-baked turd.

    Well you took the game of my childhood, ate and spat it out. Now we have a mingled mess of garbage. I'm glad I refunded it because it looks like it was getting shoved down my throat anyway.

    At this point it's almost as if Blizzard hates it's fans and wants them to be miserable. The Blizzard I grew up with is gone.

    This game forced me to download a 30GB client update for my classic Warcraft 3 installation which would not allow me to play anything but the campaign. AI matches, even when offline, would fail from some unknown error. Tried reinstalling it but now the battle.net launcher says I don't have it and have to buy Reforged. Can't even use my original disks since I'm on Mac OS and 32 bitThis game forced me to download a 30GB client update for my classic Warcraft 3 installation which would not allow me to play anything but the campaign.     I grew up with WarCraft series with Warcraft III being the highlight of the series. I was excited to hear it was being remastered head to toe with everything including the kitchen sink being thrown in. Unfortunately the final product resembles nothing like what has been advertised for 2 years now.

    The game is different from trailers and advertised materials in so many ways besides how bad the remaster is itself. It does not include 4+ hrs of redone cut scenes and resemble nothing like what was displayed in the trailers. The UI was not redone. Ladder, clans, etc. are missing. The game runs sluggish even on my top of the line system. They even went back and brought problems with the new game and forced them into the older version of the game making the games inoperable.

    Avoid this game. If you bought it, request a refund.    … Expand

    Blizzard is not what it once was, and this game clearly proves that. it is not at all what was promised at Blizzcon 2018, as all it amounts to is a slight graphical upgrade (if you can even call it that) and no other noticeable improvements. The client used to run this game is atrocious, with framerate dips and numerous other performance issues. Not only that, but the original client hasBlizzard is not what it once was, and this game clearly proves that. it is not at all what was promised at Blizzcon 2018, as all it amounts to is a slight graphical upgrade (if you can even call it that) and no other noticeable improvements. The client used to run this game is atrocious, with framerate dips and numerous other performance issues. Not only that, but the original client has been removed from the original game in favor of the abomination that is the new client, effectively destroying what was once a good game. I implore you, reader to not spend your money on this travesty. Also, Blizzard, my disappointment is immeasurable, and I condemn you for even daring to consider releasing such a deliberate attempt at swindling and disrespecting your customers. I used to look forward to what games Blizzard would release, but after this, I cannot help but dread what state upcoming games like Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 will be released in. I really hope that Blizzard reevaluates itself after this and gives us, the fans the quality content we deserve, but until then, I will not be buying anything that Blizzard releases.… Expand

    Warcraft 3 deserved better than this. Reforged did not receive any love. The game suffers from a lot of issues. Performance issues. The game has severe fps drops, both in-game and even the menu "lags". In certain missions the game starts tanking FPS. (I have a faily new PC with a 1080TI.)

    Either the project ran out of money, or time or they plain and simple don't care about it. At    Warcraft 3 deserved better than this. Reforged did not receive any love.     What was done with this title is a shame to blizzard, once one of the best video game company on the world. Hope they feel in their pockets all the errors they are doing here.

    I’d need half a notebook to tell you all the broken promises and shady dealings blizzard has done l, congrats at somehow being a worse company than EA and Bethesda and disappointing long time fans. So blizzard you really earned the zero for unfinishing a 17 year old game.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
