    I've never reviewed anything on any site. But this abomination of a remastery needs to have as much negative feedback as possible. I have been booted due to disconnecting servers in 75% of my games and the other 25% my opponents disconnect within the first 5 min of the game for probably the same reason. Blizzard/Activision's silence on the matter is just making it easier to stop playingI've never reviewed anything on any site.     This is a disgrace! Promised contents are nowhere to be found, some old functions are gone for whatever reasons. The only thing that is an "improvement" here is the graphic, but other than that there's not a single upgrade but instead downgrades. This "game" is not just downgraded, it's false advertised. This is not Warcraft 3: Reforged, this is Warcraft 3: DEforged, a massive scam!

    no better than the original and now you can't play original, and now blizzard want to control the rights to custom games a hallmark of the original Warcraft 3, without which we would not have League of legends and Dota 2

    Multiple crashes and glitches, and looks and feels horrible. I was expecting a Starcraft 2 engine.

    Normally with Blizzard unlike the Activation side I felt I would be safe buying before waiting for reviews. I was sadly wrong. For me Warcraft 3 was a great classic and being honest Blizzard really didn't have to much for me to have been happy. A graphic update would have been fine. What they did to Starcraft to me at least was great and wish they had done that.

    It has been said already and I know I am beating the same drum but for the first time I do think this drum needs to be beaten hard I know they wont listen but this isn't for Blizzard but rather for there customers. They are many like myself who loved warcraft 3 and would think it's impossible to mess this up.

    They even have ruined the original with the forced update to their reforged broken mess. I am tying to get a refund but doubt it will happen.    … Expand

    It's hard to even know where to start, but because this is supposed to be a remake of a beloved, iconic game, it was really hard for Blizzard to screw this up. But somehow, they have screwed this up. There was complete false advertisement in the product, the game was nothing that was promised in Blizzcon. What's worse is that Blizzard knows that they committed fraud and scammed theirIt's hard to even know where to start, but because this is supposed to be a remake of a beloved, iconic game, it was really hard for Blizzard to screw this up. Lastly, Blizzard also used this chance to set on fire the original Warcraft 3 game by removing features that were core to the original game. One can see that Blizzard is now siding with their new Activision and Chinese overlords for the sake of pure greed. It is a tragedy of what once use to be one of the best gaming companies fall to where it is now, the worst. I thought Fallout 76 was the worst, then this happened.… Expand

    Not only is it a disappointment, but I can’t play the old game like I used to anymore.     Just stop Blizzard. What is the point in repeteadly **** on your customer base ? Now you've definetively put the last nail in your coffin. Who's gonna trust you now ? Hopefully the 0iq Hearthstone players will pay enough so you can afford to survive a couple days more and apologize to everyone. Until then, **** off

    Я бы мог перечислить все что плохо в рефордже, но все итак знают что не так. А еще, вы не можете владеть правами на кастомки, потому что это интеллектуальная собственность автора, к которой вы имеете 1% отношения (тем что дали автору инструменты)    Blizzard сосите хуй, уебки, у вас лучше получается, чем делать что то новое по старым играм.

    I bought the classic game full price to play on my potato computer since 20 years ago (500MB ram, celeron, 60GB hard driver with onboard graphic card). The game still work flawlessly. I have better PC as i grew up and today, when I finally have time for some classic warcraft 3 game, all I have is 1 hour update, 30 GB less SDD, crash on launch and after a few search, I figure out that II bought the classic game full price to play on my potato computer since 20 years ago (500MB ram, celeron, 60GB hard driver with onboard graphic card).     i cant bilieve the black screan issue is still not fixed with game that has been since the beta and now on live...i bought the game and i cant even play it!!!!!

    It really breaks my heart that this happened with this game. When I was young and in high school I spent a LOT of time playing Warcraft III, I loved it, I loved custom maps, I loved the campaign, and I was **** at competitive. It was one of the few times in my life I was spending more time playing PC than console (it was a really robust game and our POS PC could play it. I"m finally going to buy a PC of my own for the first time in my life later this year). I fell in love with it and I so badly want to fall in love with it again. Here's hoping another absolute **** gem of my childhood, FF7, doesn't crash and burn like this bull**** did. B/c FF15, while alright, was ultimately disappointing.

    More and more do I see people whow make preorders getting burned. I know so, so many people get very excited to play games, but way WAY too often are people finding themselves disappointed at letting money be put toward these failures.

In addition, maps cannot use copy-written material, and any content deemed otherwise inappropriate by Blizzard can be removed at their discretion. They've also removed many features from the original game including ladder, custom campaigns, automatic tournaments, profiles, clan system, and even simple /slash commands from the previous bnet chat client. Warcraft 3: Refunded also doesn't include any of the previously promised NEW CUTSCENES.

    Don't even think about buying this abomination. Waste of money, waste of time, despoliation of the childhood memories, an act of public defecation directed at the faces of the existing w3 community.

    And look at those bought shills in the media giving this turd of a game 60 to 75 scores. Shameless shills, may your shilling websites go broke and may you become a bunch of toilet cleaning janitors.    … Expand

    It's one thing to mess up a remake of a classic game. It's another thing to back-patch said classic game and mess that up too. I can still watch the original version of A New Hope where Han shot first. I can't play the original Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne now that Activision-Blizzard dumped it down a digital memory hole.

    What a weak attempt at a game. Blizzard should close shop. The graphics, controls, and overall finish is so sub par for a company that brought us some of the best games ever made.

    Asked for a refund. The critics reviews don’t make any sense: « this is not what was promised but it’s still a good game ». If I buy a car with park assist and they give me a car without it while i paid exactly for that i wont go « well at least i can still drive it! ». They sold us a lie. Blizzard should be ashamed.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
