    Ужасно сырая игра, вместо приятной настольгии получил только разочарование, модельки юнитов совсем не спасают ситуацию, синематики вовсе не переделывали, юниты в бою двигаются как попало, лучше б эту игру и вовсе не выпускали . Надеюсь что близы возьмутся за голову и не оставят всё так как естьУжасно сырая игра, вместо приятной настольгии получил только разочарование, модельки юнитов совсем не спасают ситуацию, синематики вовсе не переделывали, юниты в бою двигаются как попало, лучше б эту игру и вовсе не выпускали .     This version is equivalent to absolutely gutting most of the working functions of a game and then tossing in a couple broken things. the only redeeming quality about this mess is that the character models look okay at the best of times.

    夸大宣传 砍掉很多东西。
    希望这只是公司人力调不开导致的，而不是做了一点就想彻底放弃这个项目了。

    For me this is not what they promised. It is hard to launch the game and if you will be lucky it is lagging or crashing.

    Also after removing it you cannot play in old (working) version of warcraft 3 which you bought.

    I asked for refund.
    I hope that at least they will fix issues with the old version if not I will ask for a refund this as well.

Pay for a game one year in advance seems a bit... "hungry" to me, but okay. Let's give them a chance. I tried a couple of times the beta, and it was pure sh!t... But okay, it's a beta.

    Que decepção, comprei até antecipadamente a melhor versão, pelo Warcraft III ser maravilhoso, mas eles conseguiram.
    Prometeram coisas e não cumpriram, alguns mods de remaster ficaram melhores, a dublagem ficou boa mas algumas ficaram ridículas.

    *Nie ma nowych przerywników w kampanii co blizzard obiecał na blizzconie. *Dużo bugów podczas kampanii *Nie ma nowego UI.
    *menu gry działa jak kupsko. *brak łatek lorowych w kampanii. I wiele więcej :(

    Nie polecam kupna tej gry za taką cenę.

    Good job destroying a fan favorite, with no way to have a refund. Plus giving false promise and taking away the will to create on your game by taking the right on every single custom game made. Blizzard used to be my favorite game developer, now they make me sick. F what they have become. They deserved every hate coming their way. Blizzard is dead.

    It took away everything good that the classic had: gameplay, quality, resources ... I don't recommend the game to anyone. What's more, Blizzard currently doesn't care about players and wants to keep them away because of their lack of professionalism. Congratulations. She did it because I’m going to stop playing any game they play due to lack of respect for the players...

Having no interest in pre-ordering the "Reforged" version, I suddenly found that the original version has ceased to be (in January 2020)!...with no apparent warning Blizzard decided to change a product that I had purchased back in 2015. Now, call me picky but this is dodgy as f... coming from a company like Blizzard thatI had the original version of Warcraft III on my Battle.net account. А вы точно тех разработчиков перевели, а не просто уволили, чтобы не выплачивать зарплату как тем 800 сотрудникам, которых вы выкинули на улицу под предлогом отсутствия денег на зарплату, перед тем как заплатить самим себе 30 миллионов? 3) Графика хуже даже чем в оригинальном третьем варике, на бете и на Близзконе 2018 нам показывали не это - ложная реклама 4) Невозможность поиграть в оригинальную игру в связи с полным обновлением клиента - пробитие последнего дна. 5) Выдумываете какие-то фидбеки от комьюнити, чтобы не вводить ничего нового и качественного и не тратить на это деньги, по крысиному, сразу видно - почерк активижн *звуки сплёвывания*. 6) Отказ возврата денег пользователям, массовые баны "Робин Гудов", рассказывающих как эти деньги вернуть - лишь подтверждение моих слов выше. Я до последнего верю в дальнейшее отделение великой и легендарной Метелицы от жадных и мерзких активижн *звуки сплёвывания опять*. Вердикт - глубокое разочарование. Искренне желаю, чтобы боби котика взяли под суд, за нарушение пользовательских прав и законодательств сразу нескольких стран, а его активижн контору закрыли как нелегальную группировку воров и преступников, ведь это единственный шанс вернуть Близзам доброе имя.    … Expand

    These "AAA" companies spend years developing communities around their products TURNING THEM INTO SOME SORT OF RELIGION; they should not be surprised about the backlash when they show their true face revealing it was all a lie.

    Absolute abomination. At least leave the original alone. No custom single player games offline? Clunky new main menu? Promoting the game with cutscenes that weren't even in the final game? What a disgrace. The blizzard I loved is gone it seems. Used to be they'd rather can a game than put out a sub standard product.

    i bought the game one day after Blizzcon 2018.
    I would like to give 10 Points but- Game doesnt even work on lowest settings. Lags and game crushes… (Sc 2 works on highest settings etc.)
    It feels like a scam.
    im not even complaining about the difference between the announcement promises and what we actually got.

    But what we got, doesnt work…

I was going to give a higher rating due to the fact that they did implement higher resolution textures, but by the way they formed this game, didn't incorporate promised features, they also merged the old masterpiece with the new failure, making the old just as flawed, as the issues of reforged now is in the old version. Just overall a total and utter mess. A reforged version promised to make a masterpiece into a legendary memory, and we got something that turned back all the progress of the old game.… Expand

    This is an obvious cash grab with many empty promises and in the process they ruined the original Warcraft 3. The worst part is that I've been playing it every day since the release and I'm really hoping for a No Man's Sky level come back.

    This is clearly a project abandoned midway (at best) by a company that has gotten themselves into 1 PR scandal after another through their moronic and condescending decisions towards their fan-base at every possible turn.
    This isn't just a semi-poor HD reskin for $40, if that was the case, one could simply avoid buying it. No, this is a forced downgrade that not only brings itself to shame, but also makes the original and beloved title unplayable.
    It's exceedingly hard to spend several years effectively destroying an existing successful product, but Activision-Blizzard somehow managed to pull that off.

    Not only that, but Blizzard also had the mind boggling lack of conscience, basic moral decency, and respect for their active fanbase, to effectively kill the entire map-making community in this game, claiming not only full intellectual ownership, but also moral rights, to anything made with their engine. This not only leaves their old game unplayable and the fanbase disappointed in the remaster, but also desecrates one of the most highly influential frontiers in game development to date. The WCR3 map editor has trained and inspired countless game developers, and has birthed entire genres of games through the creative tools that the powerful editor left the players able to use. It is a hallmark of a bygone era, that has now been soiled in absolutely moronic corporate greed by monkeys in suits who thinks that they pulled a fast one on a bunch of dumb kids who will make them a free profitable IP like DOTA that they missed out on in the past.
    Obviously, the far more predictable outcome of this, is that almost EVERY existing project in this game, has been CANNED. Effective immediately.

    I think that this takes the crown as THE worst game release in history. Beating Bethesda's Fallout 76 is a tough feat, but at least that game only ruined itself, and not 2 decades worth of glorious legacy and memories.

    I really feel for the old guard of your company, they must feel infinitely worse looking at the sorry state you are in now. My fond memories of Diablo, Starcraft, WoW and Warcraft will sadly now always remain just that, memories.

Весь остальной сюжет - импортированные карты из старой версии. Испорченная русская озвучка( Модели сделаны хорошо, графика красивая, но из-за этого ли мы любим 3 Варкрафт ?Поиграл в перековку. Изначально разработчики обещали привести весь сюжет к современному канону. По итогу мы увидим 3 измененные миссии, которые действительно сделаны хорошо!     This game has overwritten the old Warcraft III, one of the greatest games ever made. It is no longer possible to play the old Warcraft III with an internet connection, and you can only install it legally if you have the discs.

    People who give this high scores are rating Warcraft III, not the Reforged release. WC3 is a 10/10 game, but this remaster is a joke. It's buggy as hell, they messed up unit pathing which breaks the gameplay on a fundamental level. There are performance issues, graphics look cheap, no cinematics or cutscenes were reworked.

    Sadly I refunded the game within the time limit. Maybe pick it up on sale when it gets fixed and complete. Problem I kept getting was 'Defeated' randomly happening, black screens, crashes. I have bought nearly every game Blizzard has produced and this is the first time I have ever refunded.

    This is a mess! No 21:9 resolutions in 2020, no promised campaign changes (I'm okay with this), Freezes, Crashes, Graphic bugs, Connection Problems. Thought the Diablo Immortal Desaster was enough to show Blizzard that they are only big because of their old fans, which expect old Blizzard quality with this Remake. No campaign changes, except integration of 3 missions from demo, which were anyway available for free since TFT. All cutscenes are from 2002 version. Remember epic "The Culling Campaign Trailer"? Fake. Demo from 2018 was true remaster. 2020 release is just a lazy graphics update mod. UII feel cheated and robbed. Nearly every aspect of the remaster, advertised on Blizzcon 2018 was a lie.     Bonus: Blizzard decided to dump old translation and dubbing and remade it too. In "classic" version we had faithful translation with all original names. Now, everything was translated, including surnames. Instead of Sylvanas Windrunner we have "Sylvana rushing wind" in polish language. I was forced to switch to English after 5 minutes of game, in order to keep my sanity.    … Expand

    Not because they took my money on a trust base long before reforged was out and disappointed with visuals, fake trailers of cinematics and other small things.
    They ruined it, because they changed the EULA to claim all ownership of peoples ideas and visions that would come to life in their legendary editor.
    I thought, with this 'reforged' would seed a ton of new gaming content into our gaming lives, but all ACTIVISION blizzard cares about today is the money.
    They ruined it, because they deactivated host bots earlier.
    But they ruined it THE MOST, with deactivating the old wc3 client, taking away the choice of old time fans to play their beloved old version or this very unfinished (and ugly) version of what we knew as Warcraft..
    Im part of a community that was playing mod style warcraft since the old times.
    We had a ranking system, we had a discord link to lobby chat, we knew each other, we even had cute, little christmas hats for our characters.
    Now its time for creators to look into the standalone options, even when most of the people out there wont have the time or money for huge projects in order to protect their intellectual property from a company full of greed and egoism before they take it away from them.

    Because that's what blizzard does today, they take away good things and turn it into ****

    Compared to the attention 2000s Blizzard put in Warcraft 3, the current Blizzard feels like 5th tier amateurs that have no idea what made Warcraft 3, or any game for that matter, engaging and flavorful.

    I first played Reign of Chaos 16 years ago. The game was absolutely stunning in how polished, compact and rich it was. The Frozen Throne expansion made it so unbelievably amazing that I made a vow to always install RoC and TFT on any new PC i get and play through the campaign at least once.

    All the RoC campaigns were stunners, concluding with an epic, earth-shattering conflict against the towering demon, Archimonde, that wanted to corrupt the World Tree. The final mission, aptly titled Twilight of the Gods, is an hour-long grueling battle of wills as waves of the Undead slam against your defenses perched on a mountain serpentine before ultimately overwhelming you. Your goal isn't to win—it's to merely stall Archimonde until the final trap is laid for him.

    TFT missions were similarly epic and introduced new heroes, units, items and so much more, finishing with Arthas, the corrupted prince, and Illidan, a blindfolded demon hunter, vying for domination.

    RoC and TFT had custom games that could be played online or offline with friends, a replay function and a World Editor for making your own maps. I spent countless hours with my older brother watching replays, playing local games, making maps and just having FUN without an internet connection, an online account or a subscription.

    Warcraft 3 wasn't merely a game, it was a true gem of programming. The love and care that went into making it was palpable at every step. For example, each unit had its own set of sounds that meant I could close my eyes and understand what was going on and there were HUNDREDS of units in the game.

    Everything was accessible through the World Editor or one could just import custom models, sounds, scripts etc. Better yet, through the World Editor I could extract any of those sounds as .wav files and do with them as I please, and I did set Mountain King's "For Khaz Modan!" attack sound as my brother's ringtone at his request.

    Warcraft 3 was such a responsive, polished and engaging game that I can rightfully call it "World of Warcraft before World of Warcraft". It was such a deep, layered and colorful experience that it felt like a living, breathing world that had every right to exist on its own. But, this world would soon be attacked by something far worse than Archimonde.

    The first signs of trouble appeared around 2010, when Blizzard's official Bnet service was swarmed by hackers, and Blizzard barely did anything, issuing patches on a semi-annual basis, but there were still custom games and replays and the campaigns. Yet, Warcraft 3 lingered in a limbo.

    Warcraft 3 had a staunch tournament scene, but Blizzard squashed it by threatening tournament organizers with lawsuits if they persist. Why? Well, StarCraft 2 was coming up and Blizzard felt Warcraft 3 was detracting from their new e-sports wonder. Indeed, many Warcraft 3 pros switched over to SC2, including Grubby, the daddy of Warcraft 3, before Koreans took over the scene.

    This brings me to Warcraft Reforged, which was installed on my machine on January 29, 2020 around 10 p.m. UTC, without me knowing that the game I loved so much was nearing its end. I clicked the Warcraft 3 icon to play a round of my favorite tower defense before bed and instead got a 30GB download that took nearly two hours. Once that was done, I got what looked so colorful that it might as well have been Hearthstone's interface.

    So, what's changed? For me, the owner of the "Classic" client, barely anything, except that now Warcraft 3 is encapsulated within the Reforged interface for absolutely no reason. Other than that, some models and colors were changed and that's about it.

    Do not buy or play this game. Do not support Blizzard. Do not watch any streams or videos of any Blizzard games.

    If you're curious about what the real Warcraft 3 experience looked like, find a RoC or TFT client that's been patched to a version above 1.21b, which is the one that disabled the CD check to about 1.26, which I believe was one of the last ones to not bundle the launcher that checks for updates, allowing you a pristine offline experience.

    For me, the days of playing Warcraft 3 are over. I will not allow my precious memories be ruined by this horrible, disgusting cashgrab that skates the line between false advertising and downright deception.

    Я не особо умею играть на развитие и не стремлюсь побеждать в ранговых играх в Warcraft, для меня это в первую очередь кастомные карты и сеттинг где всё это происходит и сделано. И что же ожидает простой фанат от ремастера? А ожидает что игра станет лучше сохранив то что у неё уже есть избавившись от детских болячек. Прекрасный пример это римейк Resident Evil 2. Новый движок, новая графика, удобный интерфейс и сохранение старой атмосферы. А что мы имеем в нашей ситуации. Что давно пропала Метелица которая делает всё сама большая часть работы была отдана на аутсорс Lemon Sky.
    Хотелось бы видеть
    -Новый движок в идеале с новыми моделями.
    -Улучшение интерфейса как в игре так и в меню. (Например в Starcraft 2 очень многие элементы сделаны великолепно)
    -Улучшение всего что касается пользовательских карт, того что уже многие годы держит на плаву эту прекрасную игру. (Создание удобного редактора карт, чтобы не приходилось пользоваться сторонним с большим функционалом. Банальное удобство в меню создания “своей игры” фильтры, сортировка)
    -Новая озвучка, которая не уступает старой.
    -Хороший тест игры перед выпуском, чтобы были протестированы все функции на предмет критических багов и сделана адекватная оптимизация.
    А что мы имеем в итоге.
    -Движок остался прежним, а модельки обновлены (модельки сделаны качественно есть пара не очень удачных но в остальном отлично) В итоге получается что сову натянули на глобус со всеми вытекающими проблемами. Вроде и узнаётся и даже вроде неплохо, но это пока не начал смотреть глубже.
    -Интерфейс остался практически без изменений, а новых функций практически нет. В меню своей игры чат накладывается на другое окно и использовать его невозможно. Видно что его просто взяли из Starcraft 2 и прилепили лишь бы был. Хорошо зарекомендовавших функций из Starcraft 2 так же нет)
    -Редактор карт вроде как и переделан но сторонний всё же удобнее. Минимальный функционал поиска кастомных карт присутствует.
    -Озвучка более менее получилась, но до оригинальной русской не дотягивает, как то пресно.
    -Ну а про тест игр Метелица похоже вообще забыла. Баги, лаги, просадка фпс, вылеты… В общем проблем масса и это в релизной версии.
    Какой же итог. Если у вас есть старый Warcraft 3 играйте в него, а мы будем надеятся что игру допилят и сделают ещё одной хорошей легендой, а не как сейчас...    … Expand

Clan support is gone, most of the chat features are gone, the interface is laggy and the game crashes while in menus. Even if you get into a multiplayer game it's likely that at least on player will get dropped. Automated tournaments are also gone.

    None of the promised upgrades were actually developed. There is no updated UI, it still takes half the screen, models were updated but are stilted and the diverse models are gone. They didn't even make a death knight model for multiplayer they just used the Arthas model. The 4 hours of new cut scenes didn't happen, lighting and contrast for environmental objects is wrong, the whole thing is a giant mess.

    But wait, that's not all! They killed the mod community that kept the game relevant all these years. You can't play the original since they removed it and shut down the battle.net 1.0 servers, and the new TOS gives Blizzard all rights to anything you create. Not just rights to use it, but the moral rights too! They don't even have to give you credit for your work! Clearly they are afraid of another dota happening, but you can't have another dota when you kill the community that might create it! Good job Blizzard.

    This is a sad day for gaming. The old guard at Blizzard have all either retired or been forced out. All that is left are empty suits and underpaid junior programmers. They outsourced a ton of work on this to Malaysia after firing 800 people to pad to pockets of executives and it shows.    … Expand

    One year of silence after the announce in 2018 and no communication with the player base.
    Not only the game is unpolished and ridden with bugs, it also lacks many of the original multiplayer features that always distinguished WC3.
    It's an utterly disappointment.

    30 dollars for a 17 year old game, and these crooks couldn't even spend the week or two to update the 17 year old UI on the opening screen? let alone the UI in game. While the units look fresh and great up close, the limit graphics options leave the graphics fuzzy in the normal RTS view. At blizzcon I played the DEMO and the cutscenes were incredible, most of those have been cut. I would guess they did this to lessen the requirements on the systems, but with all the other missing stuff that was promised your guess is as good as mine. Its also concerning that key elements that were in the DEMO at blizzcon have been removed.

    I would like to say its a quick buck scheme, but i paid for this game 1 year and 3 months ago.. Yes they have had my money for 15 months nearly.    … Expand

You’ll get some new models in exchange for: confusing UI (with NO solo custom option, so forget testing your maps if not by running on WE), buggy gameplay, removal of the ranked ladder, unstable and makes your pc run so hot that you may even consider opening a new sauna in your town, and not to mention that they’ve killed classic and forced people whoA downgraded version of the classic.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
