    Я люблю WARCRAFT III не за компанию, а за многопользовательскую составляющею, мне почти без разницы на кат.сцены и сюжет. Но конкретно в этой игре мне не понравился движёк, он не подходит для этой игры. Юниты и здания сливаются, но всех больше меня бесит ландшафт (деревья, камни, земля, трава и т.д.), это какая то халтура, они убогие, убогая и физика всего мира. Трава по прежнему в 2D.Я люблю WARCRAFT III не за компанию, а за многопользовательскую составляющею, мне почти без разницы на кат.сцены и сюжет. Но конкретно в этой игре мне не понравился движёк, он не подходит для этой игры.     Various serious bugs: such as jumping out immediately after level loading, black screen
    Stuck everywhere, dropped frames: main menu freezes, network freezes, frequent in-game frame drops (must go out when choosing a building, and it must freeze when entering certain areas of some maps)
    There are also details that are obviously not QA proofreading: mapping errors (such as the fishman at the bottom level of the prologue), subtitle errors (too frequent), very obvious map trigger errors, etc.


    The only thing that shines in people's eyes is the overall rendering effect. The models, textures, lighting, particle effects, etc. are not bad. Of course, the animation effects specific to some units are actually low quality, which is very inconsistent with other parts of the game. Feeling (e.g. waterfall, spring)
    But the quality of a game really doesn't depend on this alone, and the rendering performance can be frankly bad in this era.

    Feelings after playing a few levels, this is simply not a patient polished product

    After waiting for so long, I cannot describe how much disappointed I am. Bought the game and played custom maps. It crashed in all of the games I played.

    The terrain looks awful and the menu ui looks unfinished. Refunded the game, I loved Warcraft 3 and now cannot play the game anymore.

    I cannot believe the game was released in this state. The new models look very odd on top of the old terrain. The artwork and animations just don't feel organic and awkward. The lighting doesn't reflect the original dark feel of the game. The game isn't worth $30 in my opinion in its current state, especially since they significantly reduced the scope of the game.     My heart goes out to all the old WC3 players that had this forced on them.

    Well, i can’t describe my disappointment. This remaster feels inferior to even classic game! Textures feel bad, cinematics are cut! Compare it to recent Resident evil remaster... its like heaven and earth..

    The last time I was so disappointed for anything related to a videogame was with the diablo3 release.
    This is so wrong I don't know where to begin.

    Reforged could have been an incredible opportunity to revive a masterpiece, for both the single and multiplayer. At least they did not retcon the story, and I got my refund lol.

Taking products that aren't even 100% online, offline? That we've owned for years? The game (WC3 Reforged) is a total burning pile of hot garbage. No promises were kept during their announcement 2 years ago. There's no automated tournaments, 3d backgrounds, custom campaigns, features that all existed in the original game, but the remake has less and less the more you look around it's been entirely gutted and crashes and disconnects you from matches, it just doesn't work. This isn't something you patch when they're missing art assets. That's development issues. They also changed the Terms of Service so that you can't use any custom assets, and more, such as taking 3d models (even if u make them urself) that look like Goku, and saying that it's not allowed and banning you. Oh and they're banning you if you complain about not getting a refund.

Finally my friends who were veterans of WC3 would play wc again, and teach me. So I preordered it. But my friends won't touch this **** If I don't get my refund back, I and Blizzard are done.     Was really looking forward to this remake. I really liked how it looked as demo at BlizzCon 2018, it felt like nice remake of a beloved game. Now on release it looks like everything that were changed are models and textures of characters. Not sure why they released it at all if it feels more like original than a remake. Very cheap move from Blizzard.

    This game had been falsely advertised for a year only to be eventually released in a half-baked state with core features missing or not working. The year is 2020 and I get to customize hotkeys in Notepad. Not only is it not a "reforged" version, but a strong downgrade compared to the original game. Refunded.

    This could have been amazing but it feels like they sucked out all of the funding and did the bare minimum to make it pass then released it. A true pity to a beloved game with a community that stuck with it for 18 years. Big oof. Hope this blowback makes them add a lot of updates coming soon to match the original promises they made without any slight of hand.

    Никогда не ставил комменты под играми , но в этот раз просто пригорело , какого лешего обещали одно сделали другое , почему я вижу не живые деревья как на близконе , для меня очень важно видеть живую картинку ! Куча багов захожу в след Мисию меня выкидывает после конца загрузки , помогает только перезапуск игры, в кастомках постоянные вылеты . Сделали включение компании просто ужнасно , вНикогда не ставил комменты под играми , но в этот раз просто пригорело , какого лешего обещали одно сделали другое , почему я вижу не живые деревья как на близконе , для меня очень важно видеть живую картинку !     Hire outsourcers to draw new models. Put this models and new main menu to the old game. Make it lag and have even more bugs (The old game already had a lot of problems: lags and disconnects in castom maps. No reconnection and so.) . Sell it. (c) Blizzard

    Это полный провал... Игра глючит ужасно! У меня MSI 5700XT, Ryzen 3600X, 32 ГБ оперативки, а игра фризит!!! Фризит!!! Разработчики! Вы серьезно?! Кликаешь на карту, а тебя вообще бросает в другое место. Это ужас...

    The campaign has not been changed. A bunch of bugs. Reset the old servers,
    and forced to go to reforged. Some custom ones do not work
    in a regular company, you can fly out with a defeat at 0:00 second
    and even if you don’t even look at the models...

    All the new story content that was supposed to help tie the game into World of Warcraft was cut.
    The Arthas vs Illidan cutscene looks very cheap and amateurish.
    The menu is awful and slow. Looks like it was designed for a mobile device.
    The end of match summary is completely butchered and doesn't tell you useful info.
    Custom maps now have a report button so blizzard can ban maps and ban people hosting them for whatever reason they want.

    Most grievous of all, and what is completely unforgivable, is the fact that the old TFT classic client is gone. Even if you don't want anything to do with Reforged, the Reforged update is forced on you if you ever connect to Battle.net. It deletes your old client and replaces it with the new one. The old Battle.net is now gone.

I tried to start the campaign and had to go offline and restart the game a bunch of times because as soon as it loaded it told me I lost. I thought I was going to get a game like "Age of Empires: Definitive Edition", where the graphics were updated, the engine was revamped and they added new and improved Ai's and civilizations, but all I got was the same 2002 game being sold this year if I wanted to play the 2002 Warcraft, I would just reinstall it from the disks that I have.… Expand

    How they can continue to advertise this game using footage that ISN'T EVEN IN THE GAME is unbelievable. Bugs are one thing, network problems another, but wholly missing advertised features, cutscenes, and animations is beyond the pale.

    Blizzard should downright be ashamed of themselves. This isn't the company that made Warcraft 3. It's just a rotting corpse being reanimated by Activision.

    They HotS'd the game because it's what blizzard does nowadays. They just kept the old unoptimized engine, slapped some lazy downgraded graphics and hoped for the best. Multiplayer has major problems and they removed access to the old client so people have to buy their lazy remaster. Disgusting.

It's worse than what it replaced, it's unstable, the performance is awful both in-game and in menus, it had more of its content cut out than Warlords of Draenor and they outright removed some of the features that were present in classic WC3 (custom community-made campaigns).     I played Warcraft 3 as a child, and though Reforged has appealing aesthetics, it disappoints in almost every other way. Blizzard launched Reforged rife with bugs and rendered classic WC3 - that I had already paid for separately - inaccessible. Campaigns regularly swap to instant defeat. The Beta worked better than the launch client.

I'm an avid warcraft 3 fan and it hurts me to see the original game ruined by such a corporate, myopic business decision to put as little money as possible into a "new" game in order to update the EULA and claim intellectual property rights over people's custom games. It is full of bugs, the graphics are rushed and unpolished (even the menus look worse than the original). Hardly anything from the classic game works.. sounds.. replays.. they abandoned virtually everything they promised to deliver in this game. That's why they released it silently.

    I imagine in 2017 a conversation at Activision/Blizzard went like this:

    "Hey we totally missed the boat on DotA by not paying attention to our community and capitalizing on easy opportunities.. how can we not do that?"
    "I know, we'll change the EULA (user agreement) so that anyone who makes a custom game has to give it to us 100% so we can make all the money off it, and they get none!"
    "Brilliant! But nobody will like that... how can we make this okay?"
    "We could 'remake' warcraft 3? Give it some quality of life updates and some new graphics? Then poeple will be happy to play the new game with the new EULA."
    "Great idea, but I don't want to actually spend any money in order to make money... how about we just outsource everything for cheap, spend hardly any money at all, and update the EULA in the new game? We spend nothing, and make tons!!"

It's quite evident that it's a budget product, with just a handful of developers working on it without an art director or any artists to speak of. The guys working on the game were passionate, I've been following them quite vividly and their communication with the community and dedication was evident. However the project required a lot more time and in-house art staff to help truly bring this game to life. From the very first beta footage I saw, something striking hit me. Models were with radically different sizes and with very varying quality. That was very quick proof that the art was outsourced to a 3rd company and as such, simple corrections couldn't be quickly or efficiently done.

    Now a lot of people are complaining about the old engine and they are in their right. However the engine isn't entirely the same. In the last 2 years since this game's inception, an absolute ton of beefing up was done to the game's engine, allowing for many new cool things to be achieved with it. However that potential was not tapped into with this remake. If anything, fans of classic Warcraft 3 can enjoy them, as those improvements to the engine allow for more advanced and better optimised custom maps to be released. Too bad Blizzard discourages map creation with their new end user licence... What a terrible time for this game to be developed at...    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
