    OBVIOUSLY, you have not played the game lately--> 2008 it has really gotten better, if you really think this game isn't any good, try it now.

    Even though War Rock is laggy (as is ANY peer-to-peer game) and has its fair share (or more) of hackers, its a good game. The graphics are bad? Ehm, they aren't exactly shite if you play on high w/ some of the FX on and a decent reso for your monitor. The sound you were referring to was probably when it was so farked... That has been fixed. Too bad there's only one "real" league that hosts it (ESL) and they don't allow US players on ESL.eu, but then they fail to promote ESL-America. I wouldn't mind pumping money into a league that supported the US and also promoted itself to anywhere but the EU. Sorry, got on a rant there.… Expand

    I never really was affected by the lag problems, so I have no complaints there. I like how you can download the game for free. My complaints are the symbol system was kinda screwy until the patch, and a few hackers.

    One of the best FPS MMOG I've played lately. Quite on the grounds of Counter Strike but very different, as its so much more REAL. Players, guns, Ranking, Money, Rounds, Ammo Behavior. A must try. Careful: Kinda Addictive.

    I played warrock for the past 6 months and I really liked it..so I got a bit bored so I started to play battlefield 2 just a demo like it bought it for 15 quid my god it lagged so bad I started to come back to warrock....ahh bilss

    Very good game for being free, its a mix between CSS and BF2, graphics are not the best, but for something thats F2P its actually good.

    First off if this game wasn't free it would have been bout 7 it's quite good compared to the battlefield series and have some exelent "new" ideas ...like you can "rent" weapons and not be forced to waste hughe amounts of time to unlock (eks.battlefield) and you get punished for leaving a server because of things like your team is loosing ...so it really tries to make people First off if this game wasn't free it would have been bout 7 it's quite good compared to the battlefield series and have some exelent "new" ideas ...like you can "rent" weapons and not be forced to waste hughe amounts of time to unlock (eks.battlefield) and you get punished for leaving a server because of things like your team is loosing ...so it really tries to make people fight for their life/cred/xp and unlike battlefield again people die from a lot less then a clip pr person ...which is a plus in my world so all in all a lot better than most games like it out there, the biggest problem in comparing it with huge budget games like bf2 is this is a well made game bf is crap but they got commercials and hundreds of people to make the game so even though this is a way better game it becomes a "worse" because people apparently would rather buy a shiny turd the a well made game.… Expand

    War rock is a good game based solely on the fun factor. Weapons are not realistic when compared to their real versions (m4 is better than famas realistically) but they are balanced, so it eliminates the need for realism in the weapons. the game updates based on what people ask for, when they asked to install a lag meter nexon did. however, it seems that they don't care enough to War rock is a good game based solely on the fun factor. Weapons are not realistic when compared to their real versions (m4 is better than famas realistically) but they are balanced, so it eliminates the need for realism in the weapons. the game updates based on what people ask for, when they asked to install a lag meter nexon did. however, it seems that they don't care enough to listen to the good ideas unless there's 60 people making posts and everyone agreeing on each post. seems like the updaters are lazy and do the bare minimum of what they have to. the servers crash often. and I mean OFTEN. almost once a day now unexpectedly and there's a planned crash on Wednesdays. there are also bugs and glitches yet to be worked out, hacking seems to be easy for this game also. mostly lhacker wannabes using win RAR and getting infinite stamina and unreleased weapons and such. they arent cracked down on hard enough so those people are not rare. options for premium members are not diverse enough, and are either a cheap but a bad deal or an expensive proposition for a few in game dollars and an exp boost. however there is a certain rpg addictiveness that the game has going. weapons are fun to use and each class' pros and cons are emphasized (for instance iron sights are not added to give the snipers an upper hand to create balance) what most are concerned with is "OOH i dont wanna pay for in game items when i can just play counter strike for free" -- you do not HAVE to pay for in game items. they come with permanent *YES I SAID PERMANENT* dinars collected throughout several games that allow you to lease weapons that you can keep for up to a month. all free when it comes to real life money. so in ways WR is better than CS:S. but in other aspects such as lagg (laggy players have the option of playing once they are able to get into a game no matter what their current ping is) and the class of players roaming the battlefields and game parlors. (usually very whiney, quick to call someone a hacker even if their k/d ratio is .5) who like talk smack. A LOT. If the players were filtered out instead of the language and the issues that need pressing were fixed the game would be great. A for the game D for the administration.… Expand

    I think this game is awesome, however due to the lag issues, the servers not working sometimes, and punkbuster kicking you off, i would have to say that its not the most reliable source for entertainment. Yet im still giving it a good rating because its free to play and when it does work its really fun, I'd definitely give it a try at least.

    In the year 2007, subscribers shouldn’t have to worry about sever stability and debilitating amounts of lag, nor should they have to suffer through a substandard interface or bargain-bin audio.

    It's an ugly game, its sound effects get annoying very quickly, and the shooting mechanics aren't very sophisticated. It's free, however, but that's about the best thing that can be said about it.
