What's not to love? You have your gunfights, barroom brawls, horse rides, train rides, bank robberies and a cute girl to inspire you. This game allows you to beat the bad guys, save the town and ride off into the sunset with your girl.
-
The game is witty; the game is fun - yet a little too short. Just like after finishing Runaway I felt that there could have been more to do, more to see and more to laugh about. Still: the Westerner is a great game and if you like adventures and are desperate for new brain food dont hesitate to be on the look out for this game.

Kudos to Revistronic for keeping the genre alive and a big thanks to The Adventure Company for bringing this game to America where we can all have a taste of the Old West.
-
Revistronic missed all sorts of opportunities for humor in the game, and so Wanted ends up being pleasant and occasionally funny, but its hardly a knee-slapper.
-
Computer Gaming WorldA fairly polished and comical game. It's too bad it didn't emulate "Toy Story" a little more, though, and provide a better plot and stellar acting. [Holiday 2004, p.98]

The light hearted silliness of Fenimore Fillmores antics is a welcome addition to the genre. The gag reel is tops and I wouldnt mind a sequel one bit.
-
This game is a light-hearted romp through the old wild west. I happily played it through with a smile on my face and the occasional good chuckle at a playful anachronism or a witty remark. A lot of work has gone into making the characters fun and larger than life.
