    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It can get boring if played casually. Frustrating for people who don't have time to properly learn the game and grind hours per day. Aiming an take time and effort to learn the game well. Learning to hold youare important important in gunfights when shooting. Keep in mind Valorant isn't a casual game if you're playing 1 - 3 rounds of casual play. You'll need to play for hours in the game actively if you want to be good, and improve your aiming. Or other aspects/areas of the game that you want to improve and work on. Last point I'll make is in 1 - 8 rounds you'll get smurfs. They'll either one tap you, or go super try hard, and obliterate your team. You'll barely get a chance to play, or have it affect your gameplay even if you got a chance to play. There are bugs, and glitches in this game which still haven't been fixed to this day.… Expand

Довольно высокий порог вхождения, потому что тебе необходимо либо страдать несколько первых часов в игре, не понимая, что за цветастая хрень только что перед тобой оказалась, либо засесть на несколько часов в главном меню, читаяМаксимально кривая стрельба.     the game shoud have in game rules for the ranked system if not they will be always stupids throwing games every day and night and smurfs abusing some agents !

The game came out in 2020 with a very high-profile advertising campaign, and I admit that they could fool me, but this is the biggest disappointment in my gaming life. Shooting in CS is not bad, it just suits only this game, and Valorant is a new game that parasitizes on old ideas, outdated ideas that are good only in the environment of their own cultural phenomenon. And after all, the game really had potential, if the graphics had been done with cel-shading (imo), it would have been much more interesting. It's not so difficult to make at least a good more live shooting (I can find the code on the GitHub in 5 minutes, but what can a Riot with their money do...). Get rid of the CS mechanics and focus more on other, more modern projects, and the game would be just wonderful. Knowing that Riots' main strength is supporting their projects, even the average team shooter would live a long happy life. But in the end, we see only the stagnation of the genre, parasitism on ideas without trying to improve them, and an attempt to please the lowest castes of players. Valorant can hardly even be called bad, it's terrible, but i added 2 points only for the fact that it at least works stably, and I have not met so many cheaters as in other games.… Expand

    Because of the game itself is free, it's too easy for people to smurf at lower ranks (such as Iron or Bronze). That ruined the whole gaming experience.

    This is the worst piece of trash game I have ever played. Buggy, will not even load at times! Unbalanced, with smurfs and cheaters galore. Do not waste your valuable time.

    The beta was okay, nothing special really, it reminded me of CS GO mixed with abilities. The map design was bad and the graphics were a joke. The anti cheat is basically china's backdoor into your system and the game play overall is laggy, buggy and the servers are pretty unstable. Так вот отвечая на вопрос почему 1. Потому что как по мне для компании которая работает уже 14! лет в индустрии, которая имеет бюджеты о которым многим просто мечтать. И внушительный штат сотрудников, этот проект худшее что они могли предложить. Недостатков у игры масса и их все думаю описали до меня.Но я укажу на те что как по мне стали просто не простительными. Ну во первых анти-чит система, которая в онлайн-шутере должна быть очень проработана. На проверку оказалась не готовой для ввода априори. Техническая поддержка не то что оставляет желать лучшего, ее по сути нет. 10! дней ожидания ответа и все что мне сказали укладывается в одно предложение "мы не в курсе узнайте сами". Но при взгляде на игру сложилось впечатление, что бюджет был не так уж велик. Компания сделала не самую прорывную графику, для улучшения скорости на многих устройствах, но своей же анти-чит системой убили эти старания. В итоге графически игра не сказать что прям очень, а заоблачных скоростей так и нету. Как по мне Valorant это чисто киберспортивная игра, за ней приятно наблюдать, уверен будет прикольно смотреть турниры и хайлайты, но играть в нее просто пока не интересно. Я играю со времен збт и когда после релиза я наткнулся на баг(о котором сообщал!) который видел в бете, это просто показало отношение к проекту. Компания не стала переносить релиз хотя знала что игра сыра, и несмотря на весь хайп на стриминговых площадках, устоявшийся Lol и Fortnite не редко берут верх над проектом которому еще недели! нет. Над ней еще нужно работать, а ставить игре 10 только за то что " я верю в разработчиков" просто обратный ревьюбомбинг и то и это не правильно.За игрой большие киберспортивные турниры и развитие в этом плане, но стать сверх популярным проектом, лично для меня ей не стать, никогда… Expand

    I like the characters and their unique powers, and I can surely say that the powers are the only good thing about this game (for now). It makes the round much more interesting and add a good tactic layer on top. Tho some powers do feel much more useful than others, like the Ice-barrier from Sage which is extremely useful in all kinds of situations.

    The visuals are good, but they keep reminding me of Overwatch and Fortnite. One thing I like is the character interaction, they talk all the time and usually hint something useful, like saying they encounter multiple enemies or something.

    I'm pretty sure this game will get better with time, but right now it's very poor in content. They maps really bother me, they are way too simple and boxy.    … Expand

    CS:GO clone with LoL and Overwatch theme. Counter-Strike is way better in my opinion.

    Edit: I'm gonna expand this review a little bit by comparing this to CS:GO, LoL and Overwatch. The graphics are worse than in Counter-Strike, to win the round you gotta plant/defuse the bomb - the same as CS:GO, it's a 5v5 match (like in League and CS), you have spells (similiar to the ones in LoL and    CS:GO clone with LoL and Overwatch theme. Counter-Strike is way better in my opinion.

    Edit: I'm gonna expand this review a little bit by comparing this to CS:GO, LoL and Overwatch. It copies other games too much to be new and exciting.... and its not even a good copy of anything. Valorant has a serious identity crisis going on.     -You move like penguins.
    -Guns need to be adjusted.
    -Unbalanced operators.
    -Bad map designs that are made for campers.
    I hope Riot improves the game.

    Valorant is very unoriginal. This game feels like it is missing something big to make this game its own. Overall, Valorant feels like a combination of CS:GO and Overwatch, whilst also being a worse version of both. It also has clunky gunplay, and slow gameplay. Valorant feels like a game that was designed to go viral and do well on twitch, rather than being designed to be a good game.

    this game is trash because if you want a fast game, and talent hero game play you can go OW, if you want slower game play and hardcore you go to play CSGO. Among two of them is Rainbow six siege and all of this have a better graphic than Valorant. We need a game to play, not the cartoon which i can press button. Too much "star wars blasters", flying orbs, screaming toxic people that will abuse anyone that picked "their" champs even if they performed well, no economy part, you can see how much money you'll have in the next round and even how much money enemy will have (XD), killing isn't as fun as in CS GO, no marketplace for skins, some op abilities that let you see andI don't like this game. Too much "star wars blasters", flying orbs, screaming toxic people that will abuse anyone that picked "their" champs even if they performed well, no economy part, you can see how much money you'll have in the next round and even how much money enemy will have (XD), killing isn't as fun as in CS GO, no marketplace for skins, some op abilities that let you see and shoot through walls, no way you can escape, ultimates are the worst idea tbh. Some may say that I got stomped but after two days i won over 20 matches and lost only 3 while while having kd ratio less than one in only two games. It's just boring cs go wannabe game that will probably be like apex legends, two/three months and it's over for most people. Ohh and you have some ultimate abilities (btw. idea stolen from overwatch) that are straight up garbage or too OP.

    There are a lot of medicore games that are fun, but this isn't either fun, nor creative, nor revolutionary.     It just isn't fun! I have over 5000 hours on CS from 1.3-CS-GO and just don't understand what they were going for here. The gameplay is so slow and clunky. The graphics are atrocious for 2020 and Riot honestly doesn't have a clue what they're doing with FPS's.     I seriously dislike how this game was built: from optimization and net code to how it's being marketed, as well as how invasive its anti-cheat is. FPS dips well below 30 FPS on my hardware, I'm experiencing constant connection issues and the worst of it all is just how I can't redeem my battle pass rewards. So thanks, Riot Games, but no thanks. I'm not touching it ever again.

Map designs are claustrophobic and allergic to lengthy corridors making the signature "AWP" or Operator neutralized in performance by any of the rifles, because no distance will ever be too far for the rifle to squarely land an immediate headshot. The time for cursor settle is non-existent. It does bring me back to a memory of why I stopped playing team games in favor of Battle Royales - but that's hardly this games fault uniquely.

    The lack of rated/ranked play at launch was also a misstep - the asinine justification supposedly being that they wanted to give people time to get better at the gameplay. Crossover players from other shooters and specifically CS:GO won't be getting better, because the skill ceiling is lower - and non fps players won't be getting better in two weeks, so a lack of rated play has just led to two(or however many weeks) of painful play with horrible skill mismatches and people who leave constantly/afk, they really managed to capture the league experience with this one.     Valorant is fun when you get to play. The problem is playing it. The game tends to crash while in a match and then you get banned for an hour before you can try to play again. Needs patches before it is ready to be played.

    I tried playing Jett (she's a character with wind based moves that help with movement) and I was still disappointed by the slowness. You gain money each round that you spend on items, armor, and abilities. I was pretty mad I could only dash once per round when its like my only draw to the character. Maybe make abilities something that recharge overtime instead of onetime use per purchase?
    The art direction in this game is pretty lackluster as well. The Fortnite-esque look is kinda lame imo. If you want your game to stand out, make it have a visually distinct style.
    The game's voice chat is good, so coordinating attacks works well, but when you finish a match, it kinda feels like you didnt really accomplish anything. Despite ranking up and unlocking stuff, it feels kinda hollow. The winning vibe for matches needs to be improved.
    I can see how this might appeal to some people, but it just overall looks and feels too clunky to be enjoyable to me. Maybe the streamers on Twitch paid to advertise Valorant are the real reason people were excited about it. If a friend wants to play and theres nothing else to do, I might play a few rounds of this, but I'd never be interested in playing it on my own again.    … Expand

    I have played CS:GO for a long time and i have some experience of playing shooters. I have played Valorant, and i felt there the mechanic of CS with another graphic. I think they did it to make it easier for players to switch to Valorant from CS. But i do not really understand the thing with super abilities. There is some cheating abilities.

The way bullets go out is **** , map pools is limited and some agents are way better than others .     This game feels unfinished and lacks variety. It's like someone reskinned CS-GO and threw in some random power ups that don't really fit. I played a few rounds a day for a few days during the beta and uninstalled and have had no desire to go back to play it again.

    Four intended for launch with one game mode. It looks so boring and repetitive, just see what happens when a meta gets established and there is no way to tell a match apart except for how many decibles the streamers decide to use for their fake and overexaggerated reactions.

    4.) Anti cheat

    It should be applauded for aggressive banning of cheaters, however not like this. The anti cheat software is automatically installed and starts as a driver with admin privileges on your PC. Riots response is "don't worry about it, it'll be fine trust us". They are owned by a company based in a country notorious for monitoring, tracking and oppression of freedom of their own people.

    Of course I'm not a game blogger... er journalist so I don't have that tencent money so this review is actually honest. It's an overwatch/Counterstrike hybrid that falls flat on it's face in style and execution .    … Expand

Проблема в том, что живя на дальнем востоке нашей страны почти ни в одну игру онлайновую играть невозможно в виду пинга в 2-5 раз больше, чем у противника.

    I always play a FPS game when i have some time ... But with valorant, i played for 3 days and i have no more enjoyment with it. CS:GO can give much more fun, R6 or Overwatch can make the operators system such better ... Valorant don't got mt hearth

The game's guns also are broken. Somehow, the guns were just CS: GO guns, and then ruined. There is an unbalanced factor to the guns, as some guns for the value, get way too much, where other guns are not even worth buying, where the mechanics are messed up, as its too easy, and not enjoyable to gamers who have played first-person shooters in the past due to this. The agents also mess up the game, some characters can just straight up destroy you, where other agents suck so much, that its a wasted investment.     As someone who've played since beta, game was nowhere near finished release. Random freezes, crashes, DCs happen, and let's not get started on the Vanguard malware. There are only 4 maps and 2 modes which makes it repetitive and tedious when you add the Battle Pass that requires you to play at least 2 hours everyday to finish on top of that.

    The anti-cheat is a spyware garbage who cant even do its job and, the netcode has things like peekers advantage that makes the game sometimes unfair and tilting. The game obviously takes concepts from Counter-Strike but lacks gamemodes such as deathmatch or gungame. It only has 4 maps and their desings are begginer level and boring.

    At launch, this game is a mess. The heroes seem unbalanced and not many people bother to use their abilities anyway since they can be buggy or take too long to use that they are essentially a liability. Balance of heroes doesn't seem great either.

    Performance is pretty spotty, I have a decent i7k cpu and rtx 2070 with a 1080p 144hz monitor and noticed a lot of hitching and frame dips    At launch, this game is a mess. The heroes seem unbalanced and not many people bother to use their abilities anyway since they can be buggy or take too long to use that they are essentially a liability. Balance of heroes doesn't seem great either.

    Performance is pretty spotty, I have a decent i7k cpu and rtx 2070 with a 1080p 144hz monitor and noticed a lot of hitching and frame dips even with my set up and being on an SSD. Network latency was a bigger impact on enjoyment for me, lots of bad ping spikes and I even got kicked for high ping at one point which I am certain was due to the game's server, not my connection. I also had many maps not load and I would be sitting on a loading screen listening to teammates have engagements while I was apparently still loading assets from my SSD.

    I'm sure all that will be fixed, but much like League of Legends was a DOTA clone, Valorant is a shameless CS:GO rip off with a splash of Overwatch/Paladins; I'm just not sure it adds much to the game really. Now only a certain amount of heroes have a flashbang equivalent or maybe some other **** The problem is, the guns are so deadly that it's not really necessary to use the abilities and it's often faster and easier just to flank especially if you have to open a menu to be able to set it off, there's just no time for that in such a fast paced game.

    Map design is average, they feel like custom maps for Counter Strike with power-ups scattered around. I hate playing on a 3 plant map with 5v5 though, it adds a lot of really boring walking and/or being killed by someone in better cover because team composition doesn't matter if over half of them are dead and had the useful abilities for this situation. the 2 plant spot maps are better, but again I feel like 5v5 is still low for the size. I find the shortcuts an interesting idea and can help with the large maps, but I can't remember seeing one on the 3 plant spot map. Probably the only new addition to CS:GO that I think might actually enhance the idea.

    Will it get better?
    Absolutely.
    Would I still play it without the bugs and server troubles?
    It would depend on how much of the design evolves and the how players play the game (at my level, not e-sport if it gets forced into existence)

    1/3 overwatch, 1/3 counterstrike, and 1/3 nothing because the game feels empty and soulless. Filled with gimmicks and less than the sum of it's parts. Riot should stick to MOBAs.

    Firstly, the pros, animation wise, the game is great for a 3,6 gigabite game, not much to complaint here, gotta give props to the animators, graphic design and UI/UX looks clean and good. Now the main course, the cons:
    Im gonna bring the graphics here first because it just a small problem to me. It looks alright with blur texture here and there, I get it, dev wanted to have a smooth game on any machine, but it really lacks life and vibrant. Colors are dull, characters isnt fit in together. Also, the fact that they dont have ragdoll is a huge turn off for me, it just felt like Im playing a web game rather than a own game with it own client.

    The gameplay is suprisingly slow and sluggish. TTK isnt much better when the armors you buy just turn into your health. If you buy the 1000 amor you will outplay every enemy that is using SMG or pistol because they simply dont have enough damage to burn through your 150 health before you shoot them with rifles (you propably using Vandal because Phantom have damage fall off and Bulldog is a steaming pile of **** If I meet someone that said this game is fast, Im gonna punch you in the face. Next is the bad map design. I dont get it, Riot games, a big developer with top money couldnt even make a decent map. And who the hell came up with the idea of 3 bombsites should rot in hell for eternity. The maps are incredibly small, claustrophobic but the gameplay isnt fast enough to have some fun in it. Maps with 3 bombsites often only took like 3-4 seconds to rotate (just a hallway goes straight to the other one). A highschooler can make a better CS map.    … Expand

    When I played this game, I felt like I was playing in cheep browser version of CS:GO without original ideas. And special thanks for Riot, they have so much money that they can create the best game in the world, but they won't do it because of greed and their uncontrollable thirst for 'easy' money.

    Absolute joke of a game. Trying to install Vanguard, kept making my HDD stop working on my laptop and causing constant BSOD. Even factory resetting the laptop wouldn't fix this issue, I had to replace it. Eager to give it another try, I installed the game (This time on an external HDD to be safe), loaded the game up to find I'd been placed in the wrong server.     I open my ticket and explain that I've been placed in the wrong server, 24 hours later I get a reply saying to use the same tool that directed me to open a ticket... After I explained this again, I've had to wait 48 hours for another reply. I honestly don't understand the issue of just being able to select which server... It's very regressive for something launched in 2020.

    The gameplay itself is slow and uninspired, spending most of your time slow walking around short narrow corridors, in all the maps which are essentially the same design, the gameplay is too repetitive and doesn't anything to make the game feel fresh, or original in anyway.

    4/10 (0/10 due to the issues with vanguard and customer service, also because it's obvious Rito fanboys are review boosting this pile of ****    … Expand

    Nominee for one of the worst hype-balloon games of all time, it steals from CS: GO and Overwatch yet fails miserably on both sides. Game feels very unfinished and clanky.

    Also it is from RIOT Games, 100% owned by Tencent. A Company that I would never support.     Game feels very empty and bland. It's getting praise for it's art style and graphics and I can't fathom why; It looks like slightly more polished ps2 graphics.

    All of that aside you SHOULD NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME as it literally comes with malware. Research before installing at least!

The hitbox are huge also the guns feels not that rewarding to kill. The game also has that embarassing ragdoll effect

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Поиграл я в это чудо игру, только из-за того, что пестрят новости VALORANT убийца CS:GO, прямой конкурент. В CS я играл более 10 лет и вот как года 2-3 не играю, максимум часов 50 в год. Но смотрю разные турниры. Я от чистого сердца, радовался, что появилось что-то на уровне CS:GO и может с этой дисциплиной конкурировать. Что-же VALORANT может дать, сыграв одну игру, мне достаточно было оценить это производство Riot, а оценивал я на уровне конкуренции с CS:GO.

    Графика:
    В VALORANT это плюс и минус. Плюс тут в сторону производительности на слабых ПК. Жирный минус это графика на уровне tf2, играешь будто в пластмассовый пластелин, очень блекло, уныло, надъедает спустя пяти раундов.

    Карты:
    Сыграл я всего лишь на одной карте, но было достаточно оценить пустоты всей этой карты. Отсутствие интерьера, отдельных деталей и прочих мелочей. Да я сужу по одной карте, так как уверен, что на остальных все так же. В общем от карты уже тошнило как от графики после пятого раунда. Карты примерно такие же как и в CS 1.6, такие же пустые. Но CS 1.6 вышла тогда, когда многих еще даже в планах не было.

    Оружие:
    Просто отвратительное, что когда либо видел. Отрисовка оружия просто ужас, будто стреляешь из картонного, уровень игр от мэйла.ру, где также выглядит оружие. Говорят, что физика стрельбы как в CS:GO, не верю. Физика стрельбы намного проще в VALORANT, но это картонное оружие, которого ты не чувствуешь. В общем здесь минус.

    Перки, скилы:
    Не знаю даже как оценить, но скажу так: без них игра умерла бы на стадии ЗБТ

    Подведу итог:
    Не защищаю CS:GO, а наоборот хотелось бы реального конкурента. VALORANT больше подойдет игрой для школьников и для тех, кто в CS так и не смог реализоваться. Вот основная аудитория этой игры. Riot хорошая компания и надеюсь они в будущем поменяют движок, доведут до ума. А пока это просто скучная пустышка.    … Expand

    Just another FPS game made only to win money. The game is just a boring copy of CS:GO and Paladins where kids play rankeds beliving they are "pro gamers". Won't play the game until there is a gamemode that doesn't feel like a waste of time.

    Stolen characters, mechanics and shooting (from CS and Overwatch) with bad optimization, extremely poor graphics and physics. I don't believe this game is going to have any success in the future. RIOT should spend their billions to programmers, not to paint LoL skins or buying ADs. Biggest game-dev failure in a long time.

    Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
