  • Summary: Here is a sandbox like no other. Create massive battles with absolutely no limits. Want to see 10,000 chickens fight an army of Romans?? Sure, why not. Want to see a company of WW2 U.S soldiers fight 11,000 Medieval soldiers?? There are simply no limits to the carnage you can achieve in UEBS.

I like Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator's conceit—I used to love creating AI skirmishes in Garry's Mod—but here any potential drama is squandered by the poor execution. UEBS is good at the moneyshot—the ridiculous joy of seeing an unreasonable number of chickens swarm over some Nazis, or a super-powered turtle take on a cavalry brigade. But the joke soon wears thin, and, outside of that single gag, Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator fails to entertain.

Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator becomes boring after thirty minutes… Surely more than your CPU running it.

This game has two modes, one more popular than the other, I have over 30 minutes playtime on both.
Let’s start with the ‘bad’ one, FPS Invasion
It’s COD Zombies on a beach, you start with 5 soldiers and you have a selection of 2 guns; a shotgun and an AR. The objective is to defeat a horde of zombies, after a specified amount of zombies has been killed you get a supply drop that spawns randomly, it consists of a healthpack, ammo and 2 soldiers to add to your army. This gamemode contains much fun but doesn’t have much replayability.

Now for the ‘good’ mod, Sandbox
Sandbox’s objective is well, whatever you want it to be, whether that be getting Germany to win WW2 against the Americans or put a Modern American Soldier to a WW2 American Soldier or even chickens against romans. I can assure you people will say TABS is better, but with better graphics and more selection and 1000’s more mods which include new soundtracks, skins and abilities, this game has to come out on top. You can customise battles down to which strategy they use and which path they will take, their formation and even groups. For my PC which is a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GeForce GTX 1660 Super, I can have up to 100k units in one battle. If your battles get too boring you can use your godlike abilities (nuke and wind) to spice/speed it up. This game is so fun you can even control certain troops and rally them, make them attack, move them into position etc.
    9/10, would recommend

The only thing I think takes away from the game is the AI does get itself killed when you put in a higher volume of units. (falling off a hill into water is the most common example). Overall a fun way to make large battles. Expand

Resupply crates dropped at a distance after each round. Building up a unit and finding strategic positions for them. Bullet drop for those long shots. What more can you ask for? There is no grind. The gameplay is simple and your unit is easy to manage. It's like first person tower defence. The simulator is a lot of fun too. Expand

But the graphics of the game have to be held back because of the number of entities on the battlefield, which is both understandable but still a little disappointing, however, the game gets boring after 1-4 hours depending on your love for it. But when on steam, you can use mods to spice it up a bit. It's a decent game, with lots of potentials. But it just needs a little push. Hopefully, they'll fix its issues in the second one. Expand
