    It start nice, with dinosaurs and large landscape. Too bad that the story is almost non-existant, and the fixed checkpoint system is true hell, since you can go on with almost 10minutes and dozens of enemy killed before reaching one (with means doing again and again AND AGAIN the same sequence only for some moments of bad luck). Graphic is ok, sound is ok, gameplay is "ok".... i give it aIt start nice, with dinosaurs and large landscape.     It's a fun and enjoyable game in the first couple of maps, then it look like any other FPS, with lame AI's and less of what makes the genre great, killing dinosaurs. I find the knifekill/scenematics good at first, but lame after a while. The stealth system is lame too, you can sneak around and make silent kill's.... In the beginning, then the AI notice you no matter what you do.

    A very average FPS. The graphics are a bit dated by today's standards (foliage especially) but the game play is fun and fast paced. Though the checkpoint save method can be a pain and the enemy AI is as dumb as they come, the "3 Star" action film feel and ability to knife dinosaurs more than makes up for it.

    This game's only real redeeming factor is, obviously, DINOSAURS. The 'characters' are entirely forgettable, the 'story' is a boring rip-off, the graphics are unimpressive, and the gameplay is unimpressive. I did like that there was a decent diversity of weapons, many with alternate fire modes, but that's hardly sufficient to carry a game. Definitely worth a play-through, so long as you're not a wanker that doesn't like dinosaurs, but be prepared for some frustration along the way.… Expand

    PC version in 2022 is playable but with some small technical problems, like to small FOV (can be fixed, but this will brake other things). There was no glitches or critical bugs. Hope for remaster, it will be awesome.

    Visual design and graphics is OK. Very similar to mid 2000's FPS games (FarCry, Doom3, Quake4 etc.) Weapons gameplay is nice, enemies not super smart (can stand in a    PC version in 2022 is playable but with some small technical problems, like to small FOV (can be fixed, but this will brake other things).     There's no doubt that Turok can be fun, but ultimately, the feeling of satisfaction that comes with slitting a raptor's throat or pulling off a headshot with your bow is lost in the shuffle of swarming enemies, less than stellar visuals and a story that disappears.
