Apr 26, 2019Fine and acceptable sequel of very established serie. System of islands is great and many former mechanics were improved. I did not expect anything super or dramatic, thats true, but game is fine and I recommend it.

Mar 29, 2019Best Tropico in the series. Love the archipelagos, even if it makes it tough to grow quickly.

May 1, 2019The best Tropico in the series, good job to Limbic on making the game. It's totally worth the price. If you are into city building games this is your game.

Apr 1, 2019Love to build on several Island. The Campaign is funny as in every Tropico. Graphics are very good and the simulated Tropicans (Tropicanos) are crazy in detail ( what they´re doing, not the graphics). It´s even better than Tropico 5.

Apr 5, 2019It's a good relaxing game (mostly made for casuals in mind) but feels almost the same with the previous instalments

Mar 30, 2019I love this game, it's just like the same as Tropico 5 but with many new Features, it's a mix of Tropico 4 and 5. I recommend this game for all players who likes City Building games with funny characters and an interesting story.

Apr 1, 2019Nice graphics in a new universe for el presidente, what did you need more?! Ok, more lamas, hats and freaky accessoires. But it's a fine so far and if i take a look at Tropico 5, i think more will come.
" God save the lama , Viva El' Presidente , Viva Tropico "! -
Apr 3, 2019Tropico 6 combines everything good from the previous games and refine it to perfection!. Great Game.

May 19, 2019It is very enjoyable to make diplomacy in the game. The mechanics in trade and production are very nice. Witty dialogues and messages amused me. BUT there is not day and night cycle in the game.
It's hard to make money in the game. AS A RESULT, players who love strategy and tycoon will love this game. -

Aug 2, 2020I enjoy the music, game play and humor of this game. Multiplayer is quite fun with friends. I feel like it was well worth purchasing. This game will make you strategize and think through your actions.

May 3, 2023I had a hard time putting this game down, can get pretty addictive. And it could literally go on forever on just one map.

Feb 6, 2021This is another great example of me not knowing what people want?
People giving this a 5/10 clearly have no idea what they want.
it's a great improvement over the prior game. It's not perfect but for the serious I don't really know what people are griping about. -
May 31, 2019SAME GAME THAN TROPICO 5. And that´s good and bad. Same mechanics with better Graphics. The only a add on is that now i you can construct bridges! I enjoyed playing tropico 5 as much playing this game.

Jul 8, 2019Tropico 6 rises to be a worthy successor of Tropico 4, taking the franchise back on the track with its archipelago system and return of some of the old features from the previous games.
-
Game World Navigator MagazineMay 15, 2019Limbic Entertainment just took the reins of the series, so they didn’t change much, but when they did – they made the gameplay better and more diverse. [Issue#237, p.32]

Apr 30, 2019Despite all of this griping, and all of these complaints, Tropico 6 is still sort of fun. Partly it's just watching the numbers going up. When the freighter arrives in port and your first shipment of electronics goes to market, netting you enough money to build a new stadium, it's like a little pat on the head that can be weirdly addictive. There are certainly some bugs that probably shouldn't exist on the fourth (fifth? sixth?) iteration of essentially the same game, but the special sauce that has allowed them to actually get away with making six Tropico games is still there.
