Apr 18, 2019They just keep releasing the same game with slightly better graphics. Compared to other city building games, there is no real challenge or depth.
Maybe buy it in a sale. -
May 29, 2019How can this game have such a high score? Expected a masterpiece, but could barely stand more than thirty minutes. Probably the worst strategy game experience ever. Wow.

Mar 31, 2019Bascially the same as Tropico 5, but full of technical Bugs, and lots of flawed game mechanics. Seems like nowadays devs prefer presentation over game Depth. It gets boring after 1 hour after you have figured out how the game works. Recommendation: Wait until the next sale and a couple of Patches. Game is unfinished, almost all beta Bugs were carried over to release.

Apr 2, 2019Не более чем аддон к 5й части с парой модов. Полное разочарование. Не стоит он своих денег. ФА ведь будет ещё 100500 длс к игре...

Aug 6, 2019Core of the game is alright, but a huge number of game breaking bugs and a lack of a functioning multiplayer save feature have really ruined this game for me.

Feb 28, 2020I really love the Tropico series, but this has been a huge step down. No campaign other than random missions that have zero interaction with each other, a LOT less charm on the characters, an incredibly clunky "Research" system and outright baffling pathing makes this game not as fun as the rest. Just get 4 or 5.

Sep 3, 2020Okey game. But it's a bit too similar to 5. So not recommended. Also the new buildings felt a bit redunded

Jul 8, 2019Tropico 6 rises to be a worthy successor of Tropico 4, taking the franchise back on the track with its archipelago system and return of some of the old features from the previous games.

Game World Navigator MagazineMay 15, 2019Limbic Entertainment just took the reins of the series, so they didn’t change much, but when they did – they made the gameplay better and more diverse. [Issue#237, p.32]

Apr 30, 2019Despite all of this griping, and all of these complaints, Tropico 6 is still sort of fun. Partly it's just watching the numbers going up. When the freighter arrives in port and your first shipment of electronics goes to market, netting you enough money to build a new stadium, it's like a little pat on the head that can be weirdly addictive. There are certainly some bugs that probably shouldn't exist on the fourth (fifth? sixth?) iteration of essentially the same game, but the special sauce that has allowed them to actually get away with making six Tropico games is still there.
