Dec 23, 2014Toybox Turbos is a good game for beginners and newcomers to racing games. It presents an easy learning curve, but later levels can be a little more challenging. It's a lot of fun to play and in ways it may remind players of the Micro Machines toys and video games from the past.
-
Nov 14, 2014It's hard not to see the ways in which this could have been more ambitious, more innovative in the way it dusts off the past, but equally it's hard to blame Codemasters for simply giving Micro Machines fans exactly what they wanted, just how they remembered it.
-
Nov 12, 2014It works as a Micro Machines spiritual successor, but we recommend to try it first, since it might doesn't appeal those who doesn't feel that nostalgic or no longer play with friends offline.
-
Nov 18, 2014A fun but very short return to Codemasters’ arcade roots.
-
Dec 17, 2014Once you’ve unlocked everything in single-player, this will end up the kind of game you switch on every now and then when you’ve got people over and you remember you have it, a relatively cheap distraction that’s old-fashioned fun but ultimately fails to stand out.
-
Dec 22, 2014As it turns out, Toybox Turbos is just a boring, simplified clone of Micro Machines, Codemasters’ old hit.
