    Why user UI changed? Who asked for this? This remster add new bugs and didn't repair old one

    I'm sympathetic to all of you who can't acquire an original copy of the game, without purchasing this befuddled, insuperior mess. This game is not only worse in every way, but the UI is atrocious, when placed in contrast to the first game that was made about two decades ago.

    NOTE: If you have the original copy on Steam, do not buy the Remastered version, doing so will cause a base    I'm sympathetic to all of you who can't acquire an original copy of the game, without purchasing this befuddled, insuperior mess. This game is not only worse in every way, but the UI is atrocious, when placed in contrast to the first game that was made about two decades ago.

    NOTE: If you have the original copy on Steam, do not buy the Remastered version, doing so will cause a base update on your original copy. I have no idea what said update does, but I wager it isn't positive.    … Expand

    The interface is really not user friendly compared to Rome II, Attitla, Shogun 2 and other games in the series.

    The UI is a lot worse, way less user friendly They added more BUGS, TO A REMASTER, OF A GAME THEY ADDED MORE BUGS AHWWWWWWWW Missing sounds, NO MUSIC AT ALL WTF???? Slower turn loading time, WTF?? Worse ai in the map tons and tons of new issues, THEY MADE THE GAME WORSE, HELLO??????? WTF??     battles= are TOTALLY CRAP, worse than before,
    Rome 2 who at his release was another piece of garbage, compared to this one now looks like heaven games on earth

    I found it extremely frustrating playing both on the map and in battle because of some selection bug. Often times if I select something it freezes and can't unselect it anymore. Also, the game crashes every 20 min. It's so buggy is unplayable.

    Does ancient AI ruin the fun? No, and neither do some graphical flaws. There’s a reason for Rome being so cherished by Total War fans, and the developers did great job at rejuvenating this magnificent classic. Grab your pilum, Carthage must be destroyed! [07/2021, p.66]

    A decent remaster of a great game. I just hope the devs will squash all the remaining bugs, tune-up AI, fix pathfinding and add mod support.

    Total War: Rome Remastered cleans up the original, but the game won't win a beauty prize. There's a ton of content, with all of the Rome: Total War expansions included and the freedom to play all nations right away. Although it is certainly not a bad game, it is clear to experienced Total War players that the technology has moved on. A somewhat stupid artificial intelligence prevents Total War: Rome Remastered from claiming a place among modern strategy games.
