The game itself is pretty mediocre. Puzzles are easy but repetitive, and the moral choices that determine the ending are pointless in that there is no background work done on this game.

It needs so many improvises to make it player friendly and hassle free.

I actually liked the game - but if it were longer it would start to bore me. I was familiar with Beksinskis paintings before and could absolutely find references to his paintings.

The end game quality and design surprised me in a very positive way, it is encouraging you to replay the game in the opposite manner / paying more attention to your decisions / preventing yourself from accidentally killing folks and to rethink your everyday choices you make in real life.

Bottom line: refreshing experience, linear, foreseeable outcomes and a 100% point and click title, love to detail, ideal length, nice puzzles.

Dark and moody point-n-click adventure game with simplistic puzzles, strange story (which only reveals the details in the very end) and stunning art. Also it's very short. But enjoyable.

The art is truly exquisite, but combining heavy themes with simplistic gameplay results in a somewhat disjointed experience. Tormentum is clearly a labor of love, you just have to be mindful of its flaws.

A pleasant horror mix of hidden-object game and point and click adventure game that can charm with the visual style, but also with clever logic puzzles and ostensible moral choices. [Issue#252]

Get lost in the enchanting art, but don't expect much more.
