Apr 12, 2015Tormentum - Dark Sorrow is a light in the darkness - or is that the other way around? You'll be hard pressed to find a game as stunningly dark as this. If you think you can deal with the incredibly dark themes and art style, you'll be well rewarded with an intriguing story set in a surreal word even H.R. Giger would be proud to call his own.
-
Mar 8, 2015The unique art direction, amazing soundtrack and dark atmosphere of a well-written story combine together into a very pleasant surprise for 2015 and an ideal debut for OhNoo Studio. If only it had voice-overs too, it would easily reach an even higher level of quality.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)May 12, 2015A pleasant horror mix of hidden-object game and point and click adventure game that can charm with the visual style, but also with clever logic puzzles and ostensible moral choices. [Issue#252]
-
Apr 30, 2015A gloomy and fascinating take on the point-and-click adventure game. While it’s not perfect—the puzzles could be a little more inventive, and the writing sometimes feels a little like angsty high school poetry, the breathtaking artwork, and well-developed world more than make up for it.
-
Mar 26, 2015Tormentum is a fun and intriguing point-and-click, thriving on unique art style and simplified mechanics that truly showcase how excellent the genre delivers narrative in a non-intrusive and natural way.
-
Mar 19, 2015The dark and very particular expedition into the bizarre world, where every corner hides madness. Gorgeous graphics go hand in hand with a standard adventure gameplay, and that "something extra" inserts into the game moral choices. Too bad that some puzzles have no added value and the movement on the screens is a bit floating. Even so, this is an excellent adventure, that should not be overlooked.
-
Mar 5, 2015This is a great graphic adventure that works pretty well, but really shines because of its art direction.
-
Apr 3, 2015A mature and artistically wonderful adventure game. Puzzles are a bit on the easy side, though.
-
Pelit (Finland)May 13, 2015The art is truly exquisite, but combining heavy themes with simplistic gameplay results in a somewhat disjointed experience. Tormentum is clearly a labor of love, you just have to be mindful of its flaws.
-
Mar 5, 2015Ultimately, Tormentum comes close to forming a great point-and-click adventure in 2015, but the lack of variety in the puzzle design really drags down the whole experience.
