    For me, is awesome! For a 2013 game, it´s a masterpiece. I like a lot of things of this game. The only negativa is that is has too mucho cinematics in game.

    This is a really good game that can bring you pleasant emotions, but I think it could have been done much better. The developers should have worked more on the plot and characters, especially on Lara Croft. It was possible, for example, to add flashbacks of her childhood with her father or come up with something else to deepen this character.

    This was the first Tomb Raider game i every played, before this one i had 0 knowledge of what Lara Croft was.
    I loved it, one of the first PC games i ever cracked and later bought when i grew up and got a new PC.
    Definitely recomended

Lara is a young woman, shipwrecked and stranded on a mysterious island with her friends. The game is tightly written and has a great storyline. The voice actor and the graphics capture the fear and sadness of Lara throughout the game.If you want to play a game similar to the Uncharted game on PC, then this is the game you should try.     마법과도 같은 고대유적을 쫓는 스토리를 잘 표현했다. 기존의 캐릭터 이미지를 버리고 현실적인 노선을 택한것도 자칫 어려울 수 있는데 이정도면 훌륭하게 해낸듯.

    This is a good game. I enjoyed it. I do not like the subtle leftist takes in the game though, but it wasn't too much. Definitely worth picking up on Steam --- especially during their sales.

    Free drop on the Epic Store. Lara croft the scripted movie with some really janky QTE. Had potential, but hand holding and dumbed down gameplay doesn't really do it for me.

    For a now 9-year-old game the graphics really hold up, and the vistas all over the cursed island of Queen Himiko are breathtaking in their beauty and danger.
    Some of the timed escape and ascent sequences are really nerve-wracking, making full use of split-second reflexes. The boss combats likewise demand precision in reactions and responses.
    Thanks to the generosity of Epic this 2021 Christmas, I was able to get the entire trilogy for free, and can’t wait to play the other 2 installments.    … Expand

Геймплей деградировал до тупейшего шутера с укрытиями, а акробатики можно сказать и не осталось, так как всё что от неё осталось - это прыжки и лазанье по выделенным уступам.     Not much I can say. Great gameplay, great story, great atmosphere, everything about this game is a masterpiece.
    I'm taking one point from the score because of some small details like that you unlock certain weapons at the end of the game where it's not possible to use them, ammo placement, mouse sensitivity issues, camera wobble effect...

The game is very full of a lot of action and adventure. Gameplay and Logic: Gameplay full of action, the same logic game is very interesting against enemies in a fun fight because they don't stand and shoot. They are pretty so realistic, knowing when to sit down at their AI is very good. Overall The story is very amazing and understandable and full of action the most because Lara Croft finds herself in a tense place every 10 minutes, but I feel sorry for Lara. The game is both open world and the adventure is full of activities where you can collect such collection and get more information about this game, characters and the island. In the game, the weapon mechanics work quite interestingly. You can upgrade weapons, for example you have an old pistol, and you can upgrade to 100 percent. There is a skill in the game where you can upgrade your character. In general, the game has an interesting level of design where you need to think, and it is full of interesting things. The graphics and atmosphere of the game are directly amazing, and the details of the game itself are very interesting.

    So in my opinion the game is really awesome, full of fun and action. I would definitely suggest trying it out for everyone and experiencing the adventures of Lara Croft and getting to know the characters. I would dedicate myself to this game 8/10.    … Expand

    I recommend this game to others because the story is pretty solid the mechanics are decent but the whole game, in general, is solid to me nothing crazy because the mechanics are really buggy and u can't run barely can jump so it makes it a solid game I give Tomb Raider an 8/10

    I applaud the developers for rebooting the franchise and Lara Croft herself. The story is quite good. However, the game doesn't feel like a "Tomb Raider" to me, mainly for these reasons:

    1) the puzzles (and/or tombs) are either non-existent or incredibely easy, 2) combat itself is enjoyable but there's too much of it, 3) unnecessary RPG and crafting elements (skills, weapon upgrades)    I applaud the developers for rebooting the franchise and Lara Croft herself. The story is quite good. However, the game doesn't feel like a "Tomb Raider" to me, mainly for these reasons:

    1) the puzzles (and/or tombs) are either non-existent or incredibely easy,
    2) combat itself is enjoyable but there's too much of it,
    3) unnecessary RPG and crafting elements (skills, weapon upgrades)
    4) level design is too linear (previous Tomb Raider games were also linear, but the levels - unlike in this game - didn't feel like taken out of a FPS)
    5) Lara talks so much (to herself) that it's annoying. Hey, I want to figure out things myself and don't need to constantly hear Lara's remarks about every little thing.
    6) Too many QTEs and cinematic sequences.

    In short, new Tomb Raider feels and plays like a generic "Uncharted" adventure game. While that is okay and the game is fun enough, it's not fair to call it "Tomb Raider" because there really isn't much left from the original gameplay formula that made previous Tomb Raider games (both the original series and Legend series) so popular.    … Expand

    The Bad:
    - Environmental puzzles. They are just too easy and I can't think of a single one that could be considered a serious challenge.
    - Boss combats. All of them involved QTE system whatever wholly and partially, as result they just no fun to play and you left with an anti-climax feeling after you finish off the major game villains with a meaningless mash of buttons at the right time, no strategy or skill involve.    … Expand

У Лары есть как и собственная прокачка так и прокачка её оружия. Есть охота которая в принципе не нужна прошёл игру убив всего 1 оленя и то по сюжету.Хорошая игра с прикольным геймплеем, и красивой графикой. Стрельба с оружия нормальная кроме автомата он плох. I've had the 2013 reboot in my backlog forever & just started it on a lark to see what it looked Ike on my new Wow. What a great game. It's like taking part in a long and very exciting Indiana Jones flick, but staring a kickass female character. I'd call it "gameplay lite" because aI've only played a bit of the original. I didn't thinking of it & ignored the franchise until now, in 2021. I've had the 2013 reboot in my backlog forever & just started it on a lark to see what it looked Ike on my new Wow. What a great game. It's like taking part in a long and very exciting Indiana Jones flick, but staring a kickass female character.     What an experience! This is a really good game!!!!! Story amazing, graphics really nice, good mechanics, good puzzles with the right difficulty and a lot of variety in the game. Just fantastic!

Вау пробежек под взрывы и щепки всего что существует на планете дают стабильно по 5-6 раз на час геймплея, и это бы могло работать до сих пор, но увы визуал спёкся и давно не впечатляет, особенно на фоне очень красивой Rise of Tomb Raider. Резюмируя: пострелушка на 2-3 вечера. По скидке может и сойдет. Но , я бы на вашем месте приобрел бы Legend или классические первые 3 части.

    The strongest parts of the game for me are its premise and setting. Yamatai is a well executed, mysterious, unsettling place, and uncovering its secrets, history, what is going on there, is very gratifying. Finding the documents, discovering relics, added a good deal to the historical enjoyment aspect. Thats where TR 2013 shines.

    The main story is fairly alright, but not without issues. Its reasonably satisfying to see Lara going from a insecure girl to a hardened 'survivor', but what makes that character growth seem almost comical to a degree, is the amount of bodies youre forced to pile up. As Lara contemplates her first kill for a moment, what follows next is her going on a killing spree of hundreds of men, it creates one hell of ludonarrative dissonance. Is she really a survivor ? Does she really struggle ? All the talk about how much more grounded, how much more 'realistic' she is now, those arguments kinda fall on their face, because she's basically a 1 woman army throughout the game. Why cant there be much fewer enemies and an option to avoid certain combat situations altogether ? That would've made her struggle feel actually believable, as there is very little to relate with someone who kills hundreds with a relative ease.

    And why are the sequences necessary where Lara is being ruffed up and injured badly ? That kind of stuff shouldnt happen to get the player to care about her, she's ship wrecked on an uncharted island, i already cared about wanting to get her off of it safely. You dont need to impale her with a rebar in the opening moments, its just so overdone, especially since she just pulls the thing out of her body and continues like nothing happaned a minute or two later, going against the whole 'realism' aspect even more.

    The cast of characters isnt anything super praise worthy, but they and their motivations are fleshed out just well enough. When some of them die, you actually kinda feel for them as the game succeeds in showing that they actually meant something to Lara.

    The biggest problem of the game has to be the fact that for a game called Tomb Raider, there isnt really any real tomb raiding involved. The closest thing are the 'Optional Tombs', dumbed down puzzle wise, mini challenges that reward you with salvage and XP. I mean really, Crystal Dynamics ? There was only one or two places in the mainline story that resembled actual tombs and thay didnt even involve any real puzzle solving, they were just cutscene/pass through/combat section areas.

    As it was suppose to be an origin story, i can understand the exclusion of dual pistols, but even without them the gunplay is just average, with barely any feel and floaty handling. Though the biggest insult are the gun sounds, theyre really weak.
    The choice to make the bow Lara's new go to weapon also gave me conflicting feelings, on one hand its the coolest weapon out of the bunch, its satisfying to use, especially when you upgrade it to the compound and competition variants, on the other, dual pistols are just much more bad arse. Though i do enjoy the bow.
    The platforming, compared to previous games, has been made very casual, even when the game isnt on rails, there's almost no depth to it, and it can be rough around the edges.
    The hand holding in this game is tiresome. You cant manually take cover or crouch on your own, its all automated. Survival instinct i dont mind too much, because if youre an experienced gamer, you barely have to rely on it.
    And the QTE's... Previous TR games only had them on rare occasions and they werent obnoxious, while this reboot constantly bombards you with them.
    And i dont get why they felt the need to progression-lock certain areas in early sections of the game, that you can only access later, going back to them during late or post-game is just so counterintuitive.

    Im also not exactly a fan of the visual design of this Lara. She used to have a distinctively great, athletic, feminine body build, the 'realistic' approach here now makes her look just average. Realistic character design =/= always better. Also her facial animations lack expressional variety, even in cutscenes her face comes off as wooden at times.
    Her wardrobe in the game is really bland too, really stupid decision to not include any of her iconic outfits.
    And Camilla Luddington's performance can be all over the place.

    While thats a fair amount of criticism, i do still think the game is decent enough, just wish it didnt scrap so much of what made Tomb Raider...well, Tomb Raider.    … Expand

    In my opinion this is an overall good game. It does suffer from over the top action scenes and just a lot of shooting, but its all enjoyble. I would have liked to see more exploration which is btw almost non existent in this game. By far the best thing in this game is Lara`s caracther, even though her transition from a shy naive girl to a serial killer is almost non existent.     I love these kinds of games, but the Tomb Raider has really gotten a lot of bugs this time, and that's not cool. When I wanted to try again in 2020, the result made me sad, the bugs were still not fixed. But still, the story is very good and the graphics are still sufficient.

    This is the best game I have ever played with awesome story and gameplay. I love this version of Lara. I wish they didn't have changed her face in the next entries but they're also good. But Lara looks best in this one, the innocent Lara Face.

Now this series has become all too linear, action oriented and button mashing. Add to that the serious, over dramatic, self indulgent, tone and has way too many cutscenes.
    The older games had simplistic    I was a fan of the old Tomb Raider games, and also a fan of the Crystal Dynamic series. Add to that the serious, over dramatic, self indulgent, tone and has way too many cutscenes.
    The older games had simplistic plots that were easy to follow and they only made you sit through a few short cutscenes. These newer games could take hint from them, as this plot is way to complicated and sounds as if the writers was made it up as they went along. Hint: Keep it simple

    I've also heard interviews with the developers cynically stating that this new Laura was (to paraphrase) 'pro feminist' or 'less sexual' than the older games, that the older games showed an oversexualization of Laura. This is a simple minded-tunnel vision view or her IMO, as she isn't exactly "modest" in this new game in her features. Never was I actually turned on by the old Laura for the record.

    In short: Tom Raider (2013) is another forgettable cookie cutter RE4- Uncharted clone. Stay away from it.    … Expand

    Tomb Raider is a great action and adventure game. I really like the movie-like story, beautiful scenery, and breathtaking direction. However, challenges that are not displayed on the map and artifacts to be found hinder immersion in the game.

    I hadn't played its other previous games when I saw this game, I really wanted to play it because it was seperated from own previous versions, especially in regard to atmosphere and combat skills. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the writing. All the characters, maybe except Lara, felt a little bland, and their dialogues were often just naive. The plot is one big adventure-movie cliche, which makes the story predictable and not that interesting.
    Set aside the writing, the game makes up for it with a lot, mainly with surprisingly fun old-school mechanics (even if a little too repetitive), and overall a fun experience, making this reboot of the Tomb Raider series a worthy one, and painting a promising picture for the future*.

I started my journey with the first part of the new Tomb Raider era.

    From the very beginning I was absolutely stunned by the incredible atmosphere in the game. The cursed/abandoned island got all of my attention for the first couple of hours. Snowy mountains, rainy jungles, steep slopes, wrecked ships and airplanes made it one of the most significant places in games where I’ve ever been.

    The park our is a big part of the game, it’s very well executed. It’s all scripted though, but the cinematic which you get while doing all the acrobatics is insane!

    Unfortunately, the remaining aspects are less good of quality.

    The shooting system is in my opinion handicap. From all the weapons which you get during the game, the bow remains the only pleasantly weapon to use (and still, it’s not perfect, but good enough though, I really enjoyed shooting arrows with it). You won’t feel any of the automatic weapons, neither will you feel the enemies when hitting them.
    You really wouldn’t mind shooting some enemy’s now and then, but as you progress further into the game, you get more dumb bots to shoot.
    This leads us to another incident, there is a huge lack of enemy’s variations. The only ones you get to interact with are some animals (only wolfs actually, because they are the only hostile animal in the game), the fanatics (an unnatural amount of them spread over the whole island) and the crazy/corrupt sun nation warriors. Since there is that much of shooting in the game, why not add more variations of enemy’s?

    The story is very simple. It just could have been better, there is not very much to say about it.
    Characters on the other hand is a good topic to talk about. While playing the game we see the conflicts inside the group which we don’t care about at all and the scenarist are trying to implicate some dramatic losses in the story where over we won’t care either. All that because the characters were never personalised, we know nothing about them, even about Lara herself (and I want to remind you, this game is the very beginning of her adventures, it’s a chapter of her life where she got reborn). The game never creates any kind of emotional bond with the characters.

    As I’m playing this game years after it has been released I have thought about the limitations which I’ve just mentioned. It can be that the game just got to old.     Pokud vám jde i o archievementy, tak nemusíš mít strach když nestihneš sesbírat všechny do konce hry - po dohrání máš možnost vrátit se na ostrov a dosbírat si je :)

    Top game, loads of great gameplay, lots of challenges to work out and overcome. Great movement, good graphics, especially considering its age. Highly recommended.

    História: O game é um reboot, porém a história é melhor que a de seus antecessores, ela decorre bem e é bem satisfatório acompanha-lá.

    Gameplay: A gameplay boa, as mecânicas são bem construídas.

    Veredito: Um ótimo game, diverte qualquer tipo de gamer, e buscar os 100% é uma ótima experiencia.

The game started new trilogy, encouraged fans to come back and gain those who hadn't played TB before. It is action adventure TPP game. Both fight and puzzles are interesting and not boring through whole game (but sometimes it is quite riddiculous that this tiny girl kills dozens of enemies atRemarkable return of Tomb Raider series. Creation of protagonist, young Lara who wants to find her passion and nature is more than interesing and convincing. Story is exciting. Created world (semi-opened) is amazing. Views are beautiful, sometimes outstanding. Some locations will knock your socks off. Of course, couple of textures don't look very good right now, but most of them are remarkable. Music and sound are very good through all game.
    Tomb Raider offers great, exciting campaign for one player. Due to the world creation and Lara's charm it is worth playing more than once. It is a little bit of loss that multiplayer wasn't full-fledged and more popular.    … Expand

    Перезапуски игр - сложная вещь, перелопатить игру с ног до головы может получиться у многих, но сохранить суть игры и весь ее потенциал уже может не выйти. И к счастью, мы лицезреем на своих экранах игру, которая дает пример: что такое удавшийся перезапуск. Игру сделали на совесть, раскрыли сильными руками весь ее потенциал, испекли прекрасный сюжет,    Игра заслуживает внимания!

    - There's this one part where you're supposed to jump onto a ledge and a cutscene triggers. But something went wrong, and no cutscene played when I reached the ledge. I was stuck there for ~10 minutes trying to figure out what I was meant to do.
    - Lara has three opportunities to shoot the main antagonist, but she does not
    - Some of the dialogue was cringe, and the character development for Reyes was wonky
    - Mash left and right to struggle
    - Mash E repeatedly to pry
    - Lara has over 9000 HP -- she is basically immortal. She is also female Nathan Drake.
    You can:
    - set her on fire
    - impale her with rebar
    - drop her off a cliff
    - drop her off a sky bridge
    - drop her down a sinkhole
    - shoot her in the arm
    - toss a live grenade 1 metre in front of her
    - etc.
    And she will survive because she has level 9000 grip strength and basically infinite ammo.

    Es el primero de una saga que nos ha dado momentazos. Si lo ves a 5€ píllalo, sino espera, lo van a rebajar así que juega a otra cosa. Y no te lo digo porque el juego sea malo, es un juegazo que te desafía con sus puzzles y entretiene con sus tiroteos pero si encima te ahorras unos euros, mejor que mejor.

    The incarnation of the classic Tomb Raider series worked out beautifully. Everything from graphics to controls to even Lara Croft´s appearance look stunning. It´s like a mix between the old games of the franchise and Uncharted. Really cool!

    This game had me going at it for a few days, and I got to say this is a great game to start this series on. The graphics still hold up for me even for 2020 standards. The story line is pretty decent, and was over all very enjoyable to play. My only complaints are that the story had a few awkward jumps, and that the camera movement can be disorienting to look at.

    Скучный, однообразный геймплей, зачищаешь локу, потом бежишь, потом снова зачищаешь район, эх... если бы это было еще интересно, но нет, все перестрелки однообразные и не интересные, в начале пытался проходить стелсом, убивая всех из лука, но потом просто выбегают море врагов и даже не надо экономить пули, на каждом метре есть пули, стрелы, грены.     While not every promising idea Tomb Raider has is pulled off successfully, it nevertheless turns in a tense and memorable ride that combines modern game design with its forebears’ adventurous spirit in some exciting ways. Some of its missteps may well come at the cost of your enjoyment, but most can’t hope to hurt the adventure in the long run. Although it never fully finds its identity, this is a game and a story worth seeing through.
