Its like Division 1 on MAX and without marketing lies. Solid and interesting looter-shooter with good optimisation. And i liked OST a lot. Action music reminds me DOOM sometimes. 10-times better than Anthem.

The game is an absolute blast. It's clear that the developers took everything they learned from the first game and crafted something that's highly engaging.
There's an enormous amount of replayability and so much content. I had high expectations for this game and somehow it's even better than I'd imagined. Highly recommended for fans of looter shooters :).

The content of the game is quite sufficient. The visuals look amazing. Seeing free DLCs makes me happy. Improved game dynamics made very well. BUT for me, a small number of cosmetic items is a minus. The game has performance issues. AS A RESULT The Division 2 will surely satisfy the players who loved the first game.

Great game, hours of fun. Game has its buggy moments but dont they all. The matching and social menus could use some help. All games have glitches and bugs. This game has them, like the damm invisible rock that just makes me stop and I have to go around.
The graphics look good but are very hard on your system, trade off on this one.

This is a more refined version of the prequel. The game is incredibly immersive and beautiful to look at. The game does have a few bugs but nothing that will break the game. You'll get the best experience playing with friends as well!

Amazing game, few bugs but that Dev teams are working to fix them as fast as they can. I was shocked at how smooth the launch was. guess I am still feeling the effects of Anthem.

This game built on and improved everything from the first installment. The division 2 is what a looter shooter should be, and this game proves that it learned from its mistakes and became better. Forget Anthem, THIS is where it is at! Great job Ubi!

This is how a looter-shooter is done. Lots of events and activities to do all over the world.
Sure some stuff might get repetitive but that go's for every game in the loot genre.
The importent part is, you get loot and lots of it. Combat is smooth and is a blast to play solo as well as a premade team. The story isn't very special but thats not the point of the game. Overal I realy

Overal I realy liked Div1 but Div2 does improve on a lot of levels here. At its core its just the same game in a different setting but with aditional features and small tweaks where needed.

If you liked The Division 1 you will enjoy this as well.

A job wel done! Thx Ubisoft!

The answer unequivocally, a solid hell yes! From the scope of the city to the almost dizzying array of weapons to be found, the whole feel of the game tells me that they learned a lot of hard lessons from the first game and brought their "A" game into the making of The Division 2. Also as others have mentioned the optimization level is amazing. I'm running it currently on a Lenovo y530 Legion laptop (Core i5 8300h, 8gbs of memory, Nvidia 1050) with nary a stutter in sight. So if you're still on the fence about this game, have no fears. It's truly worth that hard earned $60. Expand

The Division 2 avoids virtually every problem that the first game had. It's smoother to play, consistently loads, doesn't over-buff enemies making them bullet sponges, and simplifies the complicated stats system that required a couple high-level statistics and probability classes to understand fully. It's basically what the first Division game should have been from the start and it was extremely imperative that Ubisoft didn't repeat history or the IP would have been lost for good. But what it doesn't do is refresh the gameplay to the point where this feels like a new and improved Division experience. Nothing feels radically better and I'm kind of bugged by that. It would have been nice for the developers to consider what steps could be taken to tighten up the gameplay a bit more and whether some new creative license could be used to make the skills system more impacting and varied. There's also the issue that i have in that the stats system seems to almost get oversimplified to the point where it's basically Division stats for dummies, vol. 1 and I don't really like that. I prefer the simpler version to the super complicated one but having the ability to deeply craft your agent's abilities and effectiveness in different ways is a big part of what makes any RPG game highly replayable and unique. Despite some of my wishes for changes or different paths for design in this game, it's largely a good game and while I don't feel excited to jump in to it like I did the first game I largely enjoy it. The biggest reason to buy this game is the lengthy campaign and deep, varied endgame content which transforms your general playable world and introduces you to tougher enemies and new specialization skills and weapons that at least offers some differences in gameplay but not in ways that radically change how you play - they're mild changes but they do have appeal and that's at least a good start. Then there's the guarantee that year 1 DLC is all free and Ubisoft has suggested that there will be 3 nice-sized expansions to Division 2 post-launch before it offers what is probably going to be a big expansion pack a-la Destiny's Forsaken, but what's nice to know is that these smaller DLC packs that are free will advance the storyline of the base game as well as introduce new missions and endgame content.

If you loved The Division's 1.8 patch then you'll love Division 2 which essentially takes everything that Ubisoft learned from the first game and applies that knowledge to the second game. If Ubisoft plays their cards right then Division 2 should have a longer shelf life, giving players 2-3 years of meaningful content to play post-launch and that would be a huge win in an era where nothing is truly free and DLCs are more of an afterthought or gimmick than an essential extension of good core games.

It's just like Division 1 with a couple of patches and upgrades.

This game is also rather challenging, the right kind of challenging. You get punished if you make mistakes. I've haven't had any technical issue so far, so that's a good thing.

Been following the development of the game as much as the devs have been willing to share. At first, it looked like it was going to be a refined version of the first game to be able to sell the good quality product they had achieved after 3 years of content patches, but in reality, what we got was much better.

This sequel is a rework from the ground up of the play experience, core mechanics and gameplay.

In terms of the play experience there's a much bigger variety of possible and interesting things to do, specially in the endgame. In the campaign, since the main missions were designed with endgame in mind they're really varied, which makes the campaign experience fluid and not repetitive, a thing that's also helped by the fact that secondary missions are as close as they can get to main missions, unique scenery and gameplay all around. This game secondary missions feel more main-y than other games' main missions.

Landscape and scenery wise I expected Washington to be a dull place for a game, but it turns out it was not. It's really varied which is essential to keep you engaged and feel like you're mixing things up and it's also filled up to the brim with stuff to pick up and discover. And god, is it beautiful as well.

In terms of mechanics, skills have improved a ton since the first title. Even though some of them still lack identity (new pulse, maybe firefly?) the rest feel awesome and make a real impact on-use. The gunplay is HELL OF A LOT better this time around, as is the sound in general and the music and gunshots in particular.

I'm giving this game a 10, but we don't really know yet if it'll be a 10-game. It'll all depend on the content patches and how frequent and hefty they are. The base they got to work with is infinetely times better than what they got with TD1, and they got it to work back there, I hope they're exploit the hell out of this masterpiece of a release build.

If I had to pinpoint anything negative, I still don't like the solo experience in the Dark Zones, since even though there's supposed to be a system in place that would try to match you versus other solo players, it doesn't seem to work all that well and it can be annoying to be in a DZ with a a couple of 4 man groups in it, you feel like you're forced to PVE.

Anyhow, just buy this game, it's insane and you won't regret it!

As for gameplay I’m not a fan of cover based shooters but overall shooting mechanics feel satisfying. And progression system gives an opportunity to adjust your build to your preferences. Speaking about “bullet sponge” concerns of a big number of players , I didn’t notice it much during early access as common “red bar” enemies may be killed sometimes in number of two for one clip of my gold ak-m.

Also need to mention that in pvp some guns had been balanced since beta which is good news.

As for cons of the game, for a new player it may seem complicated at first as the number of player stats are dumped at you without much explanation how it is better to manage them, but after some time it becomes more understandable.

Looks like microtransactions are just cosmetics (as for now) that maybe earned at random through finding them in missions and open world, and also through loot boxes, that are also earned for leveling/completing certain objectives.

Overall, Division 2 is a refreshing game after recent fails of some looter-shooter and open-world games that I will not name.

With the experience accumulated on The Division 1, Massive manages with TD2 to excite our curiosity. Stronger, more generous, better built, the title succeeds where other games as service before it has struggled to. Thanks to its end-game, which renew the experience by adding content and skillfully recycles the existing one, but also thanks to this map of Washington, absolutely fantastic, which allows more than ever to immerse yourself in the universe of the agents of the Division.
