A fun, but very short game. It looks like a Portal clone, and mixes in Talos Principle style philosophy, but never equals it's inspirations. The puzzles and metaphysics were both simplistic. Would be worth a buy during a 50% off sale.

There is nothing about this game's mechanics that remotely resembles an actual Turing-like test. I feel the name of the game is misleading, in which it seems to imply that the game mechanics are cleverly designed as to have the player experience an intelligent set of 'Man" vs "Machines" differentiation tests while in reality the game consists of a series of relatively easy yet slightly convoluted puzzles, that are fundamentally uninspiring and repetitive. This is not a bad game, it's just a monotonous game, a descent pass-time, that is hard to recommend above and beyond far superior games in the genre, Expand

This is Talos Principle and Portal, mashed together but only doing what made those two games great half as well. That's the review, nothing more needs to be said. If you enjoyed the two aforementioned games and fancy playing a mish-mash of the two done really averagely, here's your game.

It is fun, entertaining and has some clever twists - however, it comes short regarding really telling the story and it is in general too short at all.

I was disappointed by the ending of the game. through the game you would expect something bigger than whats coming. It wasn't surprising at all, you could expect that from the middle of the game.
Except that, the puzzles weren't that hard and u could finish the game in few hours, so im not sure if its worth the full price, maybe if its on a sale.

The Turing Test attempts to say something meaningful, but its message is dulled by a poorly thought out narrative and mediocre writing. When we get snippets of dialogue between Ava and Tom, this is supposed to highlight an engaging debate about the capabilities and limitations of AI and humans, yet the arguments posited from both sides are weak and unconvincing. I also should mention that the setup of the story is pretty weak as well. The whole notion that an extremophile organism with DNA repair capacity somehow definitively translates to immortality for all life-forms is pretty ridiculous.

In short, an aesthetically-pleasing puzzle game in a space environment with a fairly OK narrative.

However, it is a copy-cat of Portal to an embarrassing degree, with some elements from Watch_Dogs and other games. Very low on the innovativeness scale. The mechanics were introduced well though, so that it's fairly unlikely to not feel comfortable with them. The puzzles themselves were

However, it is a copy-cat of Portal to an embarrassing degree, with some elements from Watch_Dogs and other games. Very low on the innovativeness scale. The mechanics were introduced well though, so that it's fairly unlikely to not feel comfortable with them. The puzzles themselves were OK, but also pretty uneven. Most were very simple and short (some, even towards the end, made me go "what? already?), but now and then there was a really long and fairly difficult one. It felt like the progression wasn't smooth at all.

The story behind the gameplay, philosophical to a large extent, clearly had a lot of thought put into it, but ultimately felt rather shallow and disappointing, especially towards the end. The AI's main accusation of Ava Turing was that she's naive, and I couldn't agree more. The game is very pleasing visually too, with colourful lighting effects much to my liking, and a neat dynamic implementation of pupillary light reflex.

All in all, fairly entertaining for a few hours, if you're not in an overly demanding mood. I wouldn't say it's worth the full price though, considering you can get something like The Witcher 3 on sale for less.

Tiene también algunos guiños al juego Pneuma: Breath of Life, de carácter similar pero con otra ambientación.

Necesita pocos detalles para mejorar, porque el juego no está nada mal, pero los necesita sobre todo para buscar una identidad propia.

Puzzles are cool, animations are smooth, cool game to buy if you've played Portal 2 and The Talos Principle and are thirsty for more of the same style of puzzle-games.

Gayet güzel bulamacaları var. Biraz daha zorlu olsa daha güzel olacakmış.

The Turing Test gets a high passing grade for its many engaging puzzles, but marks deducted for a storyline that never fully connects.

The Turing Test really proves the player's abilities and make us swim into a deep pool of reflections and ideas about the human mind.

Even if the The Turing Test sometimes wanders into the realm of clichés in terms of both gameplay and the story, the developers tackled the subject of artificial intelligence really well and created an engaging game. [11/2016, p.50]
