Sep 3, 2014Thankfully I had not created expectations about TS4, and here it is the worst Sim game ever, even stuff pack do it better. EA ruins everything, I miss Maxis days.

Sep 3, 2014Don't buy this.
I know there will not be child and pools, but the game is not cut in that only. The map is 4 houses, 1 bar, 1 gym, 1 restaurant and 1 library, and you cannot create more plots. There is not graveyard. You cannot create your own style. There is not story progression.
A full dissapointment. -

Sep 3, 2014I want my sims to experience simulated life. With this new game, everything is stripped down. Forget emotions. Your sims can never be sentient. I won't buy this game, and instead, stick with Sims 3.

Sep 4, 2014Downgrade. Game have not more things. Not optimalized for 64-bit CPU and more thin 4GB RAM. This is game only for 5 years old Low-End PC, not for High-End test. Game for kids with old computer. 69.90 USD pay for this game? WTF? Max. 15 USD.

Sep 7, 2014EA.. you did terrible. Not surprised though knowing you've won the worst company of the year award for 3 or 4 years in a row, but you really did destroy this game.

Sep 12, 2014just played it for 7 houres and i am realy dissapointed.
nice grafik but there is no content at all. i come from sims 3 and i have played with
all the addons and to start again from zero pisses my of. why they are not continuing where they stopped and develop new stuff from there? why going 3 steps back to make 1 in the front?
never ever EA again! -
Sep 5, 2014Game have a very very bad graphics in 2014 year, same as The Sims 3 which was published in 2009! Significantly less content than in the third. Origin permanently low total game score.

Sep 5, 2014This game is probably worth 25 dollars and I would still not buy it since its missing their core features. EA needs to stop doing **** like this only to put it as a **** dlc.

Sep 7, 2014This crap sucks. Alle the stuff you were used to use is gone. It's much more a Gameboy-Version of the Sims 2, but in HD. Spending 50 bucks for this, I'm really pissed off right now.

Jul 23, 2020While an enjoyable title that has been polished up and seems generally very modern, it cannot be expected that The Sims 4 is not going to be compared to The Sims 3. In this respect, it seems that while the game took a few steps forwards, it also took a few steps backwards by abandoning features that were very helpful and appreciated in the previous versions. It does have new features that people have been waiting for, such as emotions and more personality for the Sims. As for now, for some players it may not quite be worth to abandon The Sims 3 for it, but for new players looking for a first experience with the franchise, they may have an easier time navigating than former The Sims 3 players. People that have previously enjoyed the latter may be disappointed by the menus (Sim creation, building, or navigating town), as they have been so massively oversimplified that they are now actually confusing.

Pelit (Finland)Oct 25, 2014The Sims 4 is once again a new beginning. Needs more content and soon, please. [Oct 2014]

CD-ActionOct 24, 2014The Sims 4 is just a foundation of a game. How would you react if you bought a new Elder Scrolls game and realized that half of the cities are unavailable (because TES6: World Adventures is around the corner), there are only 4 weapons (TES6: Accessories), you can’t ride horses (TES6: Pets), there are only 12 quests (TES6: Careers), 2 guilds (TES6: Friends) and 3 spells (TES6: Supernatural)?
