The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature

The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature is an atmospheric expansion with strong occult gameplay and beautifully designed fairies, but its execution feels unbalanced. While the magical elements shine, the nature aspect falls flat. Fantasy and fairy fans will find plenty to enjoy, but those expecting a true nature-focused experience may be left wanting.

Enchanted by Nature is special in how it finally introduces Fairies to the Sims 4. You easily step into the wondrous world of Innisgreen which is full of things to do, lore to uncover and nature to wander around in. You really feel like you’re a part of a Fairy community, surrounded by mysticism and an outstanding build-mode and Create A Sim. However, this pack falls flat in a lot of other areas too, mainly its gameplay, which feels all too lackluster and may risk becoming really annoying in the long term. I feel like a lot of potential was lost here, but overall, I’m satisfied.

In The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature expansion pack, you'll grow wings and experience what the world looks like from a mischievous fairy's perspective. The best things were the fairy-like clothes and the natural life skills, but the new area Innisgreen was a bit lacking.

Enchanted by Nature kicks The Sims 4’s wackiness up a notch in all aspects while not feeling too overbearing, and even though Fairies and the new world are perfectly fine additions to the game, they might not blow Simmers away. Where the pack really shines is in its new Natural Living skill, enchanted Gnomes, and new items like the Living Houseplants. They’re all standouts of the pack, and while it’s not going to be worth getting this DLC for one of those alone, there’s a big chunk of content on offer here that has something for every Simmer.
