The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature

Enchanted by Nature feels like a robust pack that truly delivers a lot of new stuff for Simmers to explore. I didn’t run into any new bugs that seemed pack-specific, so the added content appears to be working mostly as intended. There are some great little details, like how Fairy Sims “go for a fly” instead of a run, and how they can shrink down to play in various household items. The world really sticks to its theme, offering a magical place for Fairy Sims to hang out. This is probably one of the bigger, more involved new The Sims 4 expansion packs we’ve seen lately. If you enjoy the magical, natural living side of things, Enchanted by Nature is probably going to deliver.

Enchanted by Nature is an excellent and welcome addition to the ever-growing collection of Expansion Packs for The Sims 4. It offers an abundance of activities and gameplay that will make obtaining this pack worthwhile. Those who enjoy nature-based gameplay and are looking for a new Occult and active career to play with will especially embrace it. It's hard to fault this Expansion Pack. As Fairies have been long-awaited and demanded by fans, they will hopefully not be disappointed by what Enchanted by Nature provides.

While it doesn’t feel entirely essential – really, it’s for those who enjoy the supernatural side of the game, or just want a pretty new town to roam in – Innisgreen and everything that comes with it gives Enchanted by Nature such a lovely sense of charm. If you’ve ever dreamed of fairies and meadows, it’s a simple, wonderful delight.

The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature is a whimsical expansion pack ideal for anyone who loves Occult Sim playthroughs. It masterfully blends natural living elements with the magical world of fairies to create replayable gameplay experiences, all while combining fresh ideas with old yet refined concepts.

There are still weak areas, such as CAS and the lingering specter of useless set pieces, but the beautiful builds, items, and various ways Sims can interact with nature are truly impressive. Fairies are also one of the strongest occults seen so far - sure, werewolves can cause great destruction, but fairies can break up a marriage with a single spell. Though it may not appeal much to players who don’t care about occults, The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature is much more than that: it opens up a lot of new avenues for design and overall storytelling in an absolutely enchanting world.

The latest Sims 4 Expansion Pack left a positive but slightly surprised impression. Enchanted by Nature could have benefited from a bit less enchantment and a bit more nature. Sometimes it feels like the central pillar of the pack was supposed to be Fairies, and then everything was built up around them as a way to include non-Fairy Sims and add more content, but it feels somewhat lacking.

Enchanted by Nature is an impressive expansion for players who enjoy playing with occult Sims in The Sims 4, but the nature-themed content is minimal and takes too much of a backseat.

The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature is an atmospheric expansion with strong occult gameplay and beautifully designed fairies, but its execution feels unbalanced. While the magical elements shine, the nature aspect falls flat. Fantasy and fairy fans will find plenty to enjoy, but those expecting a true nature-focused experience may be left wanting.

Enchanted by Nature is special in how it finally introduces Fairies to the Sims 4. You easily step into the wondrous world of Innisgreen which is full of things to do, lore to uncover and nature to wander around in. You really feel like you’re a part of a Fairy community, surrounded by mysticism and an outstanding build-mode and Create A Sim. However, this pack falls flat in a lot of other areas too, mainly its gameplay, which feels all too lackluster and may risk becoming really annoying in the long term. I feel like a lot of potential was lost here, but overall, I’m satisfied.

In The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature expansion pack, you'll grow wings and experience what the world looks like from a mischievous fairy's perspective. The best things were the fairy-like clothes and the natural life skills, but the new area Innisgreen was a bit lacking.

Enchanted by Nature kicks The Sims 4’s wackiness up a notch in all aspects while not feeling too overbearing, and even though Fairies and the new world are perfectly fine additions to the game, they might not blow Simmers away. Where the pack really shines is in its new Natural Living skill, enchanted Gnomes, and new items like the Living Houseplants. They’re all standouts of the pack, and while it’s not going to be worth getting this DLC for one of those alone, there’s a big chunk of content on offer here that has something for every Simmer.

Enchanted by Nature is a visually stunning and detail-rich pack that introduces fairies as a new occult type and embraces a whimsical, fairy tale-inspired aesthetic. While it brings new mechanics such as natural living, a luck system, and magical afflictions, its gameplay feels limited if you're not drawn to the role of mystical creatures. With a high price tag and few options beyond the magical theme, the expansion may feel more restrictive than expansive.
