Apr 28, 2015After the resolution of the "paid mods" debacle I can now endorse this game again.
Solid enjoyable game, greatly enhanced by mods. With mods it's a 10. -

Nov 11, 2011Save your headaches get the console version. The PC version is a terrible console port and once again requires massive tweaks just to make the game playable. Console version was put and play and looks great. Skip the PC version until developers learn to take their time, make a statement with the one you buy and get the 360 or PS3 version.

Jun 26, 2014In a word? Overrated. They really messed up the major point of even playing an Elder Scrolls game - the story. Not just the main quest, but all of the side quests and especially the guilds. It is fun, but inferior to Oblivion and Morrowind and not a good sign of to-be Elder Scrolls games.

Aug 15, 2018While lacking in depth and RPG mechanics and quest design, a beautiful world that demands exploration.

Jun 5, 2014Yes, it's a good game. I'll just write what's not good in this title.
It's like a HUGE TOTAL CONVERSATION MOD for Oblivion. The inventory system is a joke, hard to find items, makes you lose a lot of time.
And I played it for a good 10 hours. It's fun, but nothing more, not good enough to make me want to finish it. -

Jan 7, 2017This game is not all it's hyped up to be.
The quests quickly get repetitive and left no lasting impact on me.
There is loads of content, but the world is just too gray and gloomy for me to care about exploring. -

Dec 8, 2011Incremental improvement on Oblivion. I've had no game killing bugs, but a few crashes which is better than any other Bethesda game I've played. Grind, grind, grind is the name of the game. Flat main quest line that offers little in the way of re-playability. Addicting, yes. Engaging, no.

Dec 15, 2011Skyrim is not really an RPG game. It is adventure-quest game. RPG system is so simplified event retarded children can master it. When i played the game, character race were mentioned only once or twice, and had absolutely no effect on gameplay. Story is nice but most quests very linear and lack choices.

Dec 18, 2011I enjoyed the game and completed a lot of quests but it just lost that great feeling after about 3 hours. I will still play it and enjoy it for many weeks to come but it's just not the same anymore and seems to be worse then Fallout 3. I think Fallout 3 was better.

Mar 17, 2012The game looks great, plays amazing. But we've already done all these same things before. I wanted to get a new RPG that played like something completely new, not just Oblivion with new maps, I just expected much more things to be added in. Mounted combat ect... Other hand, If you want a new game to spam mods for this might be for you.

Oct 17, 2012This is nowhere near a quality rpg like Planescape: Torment. Average plot, Bland NPcs,sluggish combat. It is only a decent game because of its visual design and quality world and dragons........

Dec 21, 2011They built a huge world with great voice acting and tons to do yet once again forgot about the gameplay which sucked hard. The combat is just so basic and sluggish it has not evolved since the first ones.
The main story was also horrible, this same company keeps making games with horrible main storys, some of the side quests were better then the main one. -

Dec 16, 2011This game has amazing graphics. Although the game engine and combat system is really frustrating. If you hit an unarmed woman with your sword, she will keep on attacking you with her bare hand like nothing at all. They meant to do this I know, but still it gets really annoying.

Feb 29, 2012A vast improvement over Oblivion, however still plagued with bugs, from the immersion-breaking to the game-breaking, and there's upcoming DLC.
Graphics are decent, but washed out, desaturated and dirty brown.
Gameplay is better, but has been simplified for the mass sheep. -

Feb 29, 2012Unfortunately, Skyrim trips and falls on its own (most probably, to make the cool-sounding deadline of 11-11-11) and just before it reaches perfection as the ultimate specimen of its genre, it self-destructs in a crucial aspect of game design: the interface and the peripheral components (inventory, journal, map, etc)... but that is not to say that Skyrim is anything but a truly majestic, epic RPG that will suck you right in its cosmos.
-
Feb 14, 2012Skyrim is definitely one of the best games of 2011, but if the DLC holds out, it might just be one of the best games of 2012 as well.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 19, 2012Skyrim is the best open world RPG you can get. A true evolution of genre is not flawless but still it is the game you love to live in. [Christmas 2011]
