Huge improvement to load time performance, great game play, I don't understand where the bad reviews are coming from.

Dev team works entirely remote and pushes out great new content without falling too far behind schedule. People complain because they have to wait a little bit to log in and enjoy the content. The expansion is great so far. Quality writing and gameplay, as expected.

Many bad reviews are born out of impatience and inexperience. This game and the companies have really survived and pushed through some bad-imaging (even bad customers) and altered their own courses for the better. Compared to any other mmo, this game easily overall and categorically beats all else. From level design, lore, story, 3d modeling, concepts, art, customer care, and several mechanics. Sure, just like every game, there are problem areas, but ESO has the least overall. Expand

Rocky launch with the most common issues with mmo during peak server usage, don't trust the bad reviews of impatient people who think developing and releasing a game is easy

I've played many games and am newer to TESO (unlike the the SPs), this is by far the best, as far as large-scale fantasy games go. This DLC has not disappointed! It has more of everything I've always wanted of fantasy games. Any negative reviewers must have little other mmo play or must lack understanding of what it takes to develop something so large and this good.

First off as a vet mmorpg player i usually don’t play new mmorpg’s, new expansions and such the first few days or week of launch. But I couldn’t help myself when it comes to ESO. First, dammm the antiquities quest line is brilliant very addictive and you keep telling yourself just one more treasure. West Skyrim is breathtaking the combat is even more refined. Great expansion. Look if you love ESO but don’t want to deal with launch issues then simply wait till next Tuesday usually a week after launch most things are running great. If you don’t mind the Occasional bug or re-logging in then buy it today and enjoy the game. If you’re a fan of the Esso and you are waiting to play trust me you’ll enjoy it. If you’re not a fan of ESO and you do not like the game for some reason why are you reading this review and why do you even care about this expansion LOL Expand

it's not bad but it's not amazing, it's on par with summerset and elsweyr, so get that if you like those or if you like ESO in general, most of the negative reviews are people complaining about connection issues and some bugs that are typical for every mmorpg

It's more of an 8/10 but this game got an undeserved review bomb from people clearly not used to mmo launches so it deserves some karmic reversal.

Great DLC, like a whole new world to explore, fascinating quests, wonderful surroundings, great storyline. I really like to play, a few bugs, but still it feels like real titanic work was done, thanks to the whole team!

Another great expansion, in addition to the new areas, exciting story and questing, as usual a lot of overland content and replayable events, the vampire revamp and the new antiquities system are nice additions to the game. Those who complain about the launch day have never played an mmorpg, and in this case Zenimax launched the new chapter working from home, the developers are humans too. Under normal circumstances, the launch problems could probably have been avoided, but everyone should be aware of the global virus situation by now. Expand

Amazing and fun story but sadly unrighteously rated because of its an MMO. It did have a bad launch but the game has gotten so much love from ZeniMax and its become one of my favorite MMOs ever and should be respected. Just because you don't like the multiplayer aspect don't rate it harshly if you haven't played the whole game.

Capítulo muito bom, a ambientação é fenomenal mas a história não acaba no fim. O desfecho final vem na dlc Markarth e é muito bom.

ESO is a unique MMO. I really like the combat system and the huge interactive world. And I want to say: GOOD JOB Zenimax, this is a great game. And it is getting better with every expansion, including this one. I can't wait for the another. The atmosphere is spot on, and even the less interesting quests offer up some beautiful scenery. And let's be honest, that's why you've come anyway, isn't it?

A deeply challenging adventure in the Western Skyrim, Greymoor indicates a true maturing of ZeniMax philosophy for The Elder Scrolls Online.

This expansion is about the same level of enhancements that we saw with Summerset and Elsweyr, and for people hungry for Skyrim nostalgia there’s some here, but the experience is clearly in the vein of the MMO and not the single player adventure. Greymoor is a good starting point for newcomers and a welcome expansion to veteran players, while the added Stadia compatibility also offers a nice portability option.
