Oct 28, 2022Quite a well rounded game. Enjoyable story with good humor, decent (though slow) level progression, and best of all fun, turn-based tactical RPG combat!
Date Completed: 2022-10-28
Playtime: 33h
Enjoyment: 8/10
Recommendation: Yup -
Oct 14, 2020Game is reasonably bug free as of October 2020. (3rd patch or something)
Solid turn based crpg with an emphasis on combat and nicely voice-acted silly dialogue. Both of which are executed expertly and represent the main selling point of the game.
The UI on PC could be better but other than that its quite good for an indie crpg. -

Aug 30, 2022The game story telling is nice , the narrative is great. I enjoyed playing the game. Just don’t buy it on Nintendo switch and get it on pc. It’s very light probably any laptop can run it better than the switch. Switch port in optimized. The pc version of the game is well made. I enjoy the game and find it very funny. It’s basically turn based rpg that is funny.

Apr 29, 2021Nice an polished game. The story and dialogues are funny. If it had a bit more diversity in combat it would be amazing.

Feb 14, 2022One of the most underrated games ever.
Some people don't get the humor and find the dwarf annoying, well, that's why he was born.
And he ate all his Chiantos before joining the game...
I spent more than 30 hours on it, and I enjoyed every part of it.
I wish they make a VR mode for it, that would be amazing. -

Feb 19, 2022The game is OK, but the English voice acting is cringy, especially from Felicia Day, the fake gamer girl who in the past said she was almost 'abused" because some guys in GamerGate T-shirt walked past her on the street without even looking at her.

Sep 24, 2020Very nice sense of humour. Stereotypic races shown very funny. Often I laughed out loud. Especially from Dwarf voiceover. "Dont stand so close to meh". Warhammer and russian references could be seen and I like it too.
Very nice anf funny RPG game. -
Jan 25, 2021Excellent game. Nice ballance. I finished it in Nightmare difficulty and it was fun, fair fights on nightmare and cool character progression, nice jokes. Strongly recomended for any party RPG lover

Jun 26, 2022The comedy tone is fun, but don't let that fool you into thinking it won't have challenging combat, because it does. I just finished a battle where I was so much in flow, there was so much to keep in mind, that I lost track of time as I just had to finish that battle. There were so many enemy that I thought there was no way I could win, but I did. Perfect.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Feb 15, 2022Packed with humour, laughs and pop culture references sprinkled on top with some RPG elements. The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk is a very specific game for a very specific audience, but it can easily surprise even the most generic players.

Aug 23, 2021Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos has a lot of obstacles in its way from becoming a solid gem worth your time. The first few hours are a bit of a drag to get through since the majority of this time you’ll spend either hating the dialogue or hating the difficulty from the (more predetermined than random) RNG that this game employs. Trudge through this and you’ll find that the learning curve gets easier, the writing simmers down a bit, but the difficulty still remains the same.

CD-ActionDec 18, 2020For a game that mocks RPG clichés and pelts you with endless stream of hit-or-miss jokes and cultural references, The Dungeon of Nabe… Nehu… Neul… goddamit… The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk is surprisingly solid in terms of gameplay mechanics and features genuinely fun tactical combat.
