    The Conjuring House offers up some classic old-school Gothic horror, the kind that relies on the tension it creates along with the atmosphere that builds naturally. Sure, the gameplay itself may be a little dated, but the game does so much work in creating a legitimately unsettling experience that it’s easy to excuse the constant need for finding this or that. If you genuinely enjoy being scared or you want to make someone you care about suffer and not be able to sleep soundly for a few nights, then The Conjuring House ought to do the job pretty well.

    The conjuring house has confusing, repetitive level design and cringe-worthy voice acting, but the scares are hard-hitting and the gameplay is a constant risk balance of exploration and self-preservation. It’s not a great horror game, but it does have some great moments that make its relatively brief campaign memorable.

    The Conjuring House went on market too early. Even if the setting would have been perfect for any project, bad narrative, bad gameplay and bad graphics made the game poor in everything.

    While every game will always have things that could be improved, The Conjuring House needs to improve dramatically to become the game that it’s promising with its trailers. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to say whether Rym Games will be able to pull together enough patches going forward to really make The Conjuring House livable.

    The Conjuring House takes parts and pieces from other horror games but fails to add anything new. The in-your-face ghost and technical issues stop whatever scares the game could offer. At the end of the day, The Conjuring House is nothing more than a scavenger hunt in the frame of a generic ghost story that lacks creativity and scares.

    I don't understand the bad reviews. This game has great graphics, a fantastic atmosphere and sound design, and a game mechanism that keeps youI don't understand the bad reviews. This game has great graphics, a fantastic atmosphere and sound design, and a game mechanism that keeps you on the edge, fearing that the demon woman will appear any time chasing you.
    Yes, the gameplay might become repetitive with closed doors, find the keys and such. But the game is all about the constant menace of the demon lurking, keeping you on the edge. Frictional Games uses the same concept and nobody is downvoting their games. So why this one?
    Yes, you save manually and might end up dying and retrying, doing the same part again. But what's the difference if the game was autosaving? You die, retry and do the same part again. Nobody has ever done that playing SOMA for example? Or GTA? And BTW, anybody remembers that time where games had three lives, one hit kills you, no save, no continue? No more lives, suck it up and restart at level 1? Well, pepperidge farm remembers!
    The game borrows its gameplay from Outlast, Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Frictional Games. But the end result looks great. The voice acting is a little weak and should be fixed. But overall, this is a high quality game made by an indie team. You can see there's a lot of work, passion and love put in it. The textures are great and the lighting is awesome. The sound design is top notch. I didn't encounter any bug or crash but there have been updates before I buy it so people reporting them might have experimented them on a previous version.
    Also, the devs are maintaining and adding content to the game, like adding the map and the game modes. So, I don't understand why an indie team who made a great game is getting downvoted while everybody still continues to buy EA games, praising them again, forgetting how they treated their customers.
    Anyway, buy this game, support this team. I think they can become the next Red Barrels and should be encouraged.    … Expand

    Apart from that, the game is kind of boring in the sense that is nothing new. Get tool x, use it on local y, rinse and repeat, same with keys.
    Storywise, again, it could be a lot better if the voice acting wasn't so bad.
