    концовка норм, хз че её так засрали прям капитально я не понял, сюжет в целом оказался не настолько уж плохим, ласт босс тоже хоть и дженерик, но... а шо там еще можно было ожидать)

    в целом, мне понравилось, но мало, хочу добавки, и чтоб косяки баланса пофиксили, ну и поменьше повторяющихся элементов 15-летней давности было игра свои 7.5-8 баллов очень даже заслуживает, несмотря на    концовка норм, хз че её так засрали прям капитально я не понял, сюжет в целом оказался не настолько уж плохим, ласт босс тоже хоть и дженерик, но... а шо там еще можно было ожидать)

    As of patch 1.06, I can now run on max settings with pretty much zero stutter. I still get some stutters during action heavy scenes but it's nowhere as noticeable or annoying as before.     In terms of the game - it looks amazing and the atmosphere perfect. As some who is big on action horror games like Dead Space and Resident Evil, I can easily recommend this. The game settings gives me real Event Horizon/Pandorum vibes so if you have issues and enjoy those movies like me then you'll like this.

    It's not exactly Dead Space, but that's what we have the Dead Space remake for. The gameplay trailers showed exactly what this game is like and I pretty happy with what I got.    … Expand

    Makes me sick how bandwagon people are being. Probably because they didn't figure out the mechanics and need a game to hold their hand and reassure them that they're a champ.
    This game makes you feel a certain kind of way and it's incredible at it.
    Don't sleep on this one just because journalists ran a coordinated smear campaign. They did so they could shill for the big 3 and further degenerate gaming into nothing but factory filth. Guess they have to make sure real games don't get made anymore.

    The biggest complaint I keep hearing is that you lock on to the enemy that's attacking you, so it doesn't work for multiple enemies or... something. I gotta tell you that this game gives you all the tools you need. If a second character gets too close, you will still dodge it because it instantly locks to the enemy attacking. What you need to do is use the telekinesis glove to throw extra enemies out of the way if you get overwhelmed. SIMPLE AS THAT. Just pay attention to the environment and use everything you can to dominate enemies, that's what hazards and explosion tanks are there for. Just use them. Figuring out how to not get overwhelmed and managing enemies is THE WHOLE POINT, while being as ruthless and efficient as possible. This game is basically perfect at everything it attempts. I can't believe all this bad press it's getting from people who PLAY VIDEO GAMES FOR A LIVING, so you would think they wouldn't suck.

    Another thing is "it's just linear OMG I can't endlessly explore idiot areas aimlessly wahhh" Go play Ubisoft you morons. Get some micro trans checklists you're such a glutton for. Because that's exactly what you'll get when you only give excellent scores to cookie cutter games. You get what you deserve you fools. This game is a series of expertly crafted and paced GAUNTLETS, it always is throwing a new challenge at you each and every time and highlights the actual depth and game design prowess on clear display.

    Oh and too many vents... Well would you prefer broke asses with old systems and hardware couldn't play it? You need that to hide loading screens, besides this is how the previous games were and part of the DNA. They paced it out extremely well and I'd argue you wouldn't get near the same "Dead Space feeling" without them. It's all about vibe. What's funny is that this is a cross platform game and STILL has the best graphics I've ever seen in a game. Try and tell me it doesn't look like a literal movie from start to finish!

    Muy buen juego. Yo que he jugado dead space 1, 2 y 3 no he podido dejar de ver ciertas similitudes de todas estas en The Callisto Protocol. La jugabilidad es similar a la de Dead Space, sólo que cambia un tanto en cuanto a ataques refiere. Los enemigos son más fuertes y resistentes, la mayoría de combates se darán siempre de cuerpo a cuerpo y estos tendrás que usar las flechas izq. yMuy buen juego. Yo que he jugado dead space 1, 2 y 3 no he podido dejar de ver ciertas similitudes de todas estas en The Callisto Protocol. La jugabilidad es similar a la de Dead Space, sólo que cambia un tanto en cuanto a ataques refiere. Los enemigos son más fuertes y resistentes, la mayoría de combates se darán siempre de cuerpo a cuerpo y estos tendrás que usar las flechas izq. y derecha para esquivar los ataques, el inventario lo tienes reducido a un máximo de 6 y ampliable a 12 sólo después de haber salido de la cárcel. Hay momentos de "scream" cada cierto tiempo. Es más reducido el uso del arma antigravedad que ahora son guantes. La música sabe como ponerte en tensión y en guardia. Algo que apreciar es el constante cambio de ambientes, lo coherente de la historia y las cinemáticas.
    Algunas deficiencias que he tenido en rendimiento considero que es porque lo he jugado con un Ryzen 5 1600, sumado a esto, muy por seguro que también se ha afectado el rendimiento por el uso de Denuvo Anticheat. No obstante, es un gran juego.
    Algo que me hubiera gustado que pusieses es mayor disponibilidad de interacción del personaje con el entorno. Quizás, incluso, algo retador hubiera sido esconder objetos o coleccionables (los "collares de los muertos" en alguna zona innacesible que solo se pueda alcanzar con tus guantes de gravedad, para que así el jugador se vea en cierta forma forzado a buscar por toda la habitación en busca de estas cosas para que así también la aprecie.
    La cámara la sentí muy pegada al personaje, pero no ha sido una molestia en los encuentros contra los monstruos.
    Algo también, un tanto irrealista me pareció que al salir de una habitación y volver a entrar vieras como respawneaban ciertos materiales infectados (como unos huevos) cuando ya los habías destruido.
    También debo acotar que existe cierta falta en cuanto a variedad de enemigos refiere, pero con los que hay sí que causa un gran susto en el corazón, sobretodo cuando te quedas sin munición.
    Pese a todo esto, y por la trama, por la jugabilidad, por todos esos momentos de sorpresa, por lo que es hasta el momento le doy un 10, sé que no es perfecto pero cumple con ser un gran juego. Que los pequeños fallos no apañen el gran valor de este diamante de juego.

    Edit 1. Después del parche de hoy 4.12.2022 el juego se ha vuelto muy estable usando un ryzen 5 1600 y una gtx 1660s en steam. Todo va muy fluido en gráficos bajos y medios (aún no lo he probado en alto).    … Expand

    Wrote the first review by mistake for the PS5 but meant it for the PC. This game was AWESOME!!! It is was truly 2008 Dead Space resurrected in 2022. Can't wait for Glen and crew to make the sequel.

    Great game, great story. A very well done atmosphere. Beautiful graphics, visual effects and music. Effective fights. A minimum of friezes on the ssd that the developers have already fixed. I see no reason to underestimate this product the fact that AAA games of this quality are very rarely released lately.

    It's impossible not to compare it to Dead Space, it's true, the mechanics are very very similar, but this one rely more on melee than on guns and resource management, this can be a let down for a lot of players that like gun combat.

Very atmospheric, very cool graphics, finally games on Unreal Engine 4 do not look like brown and toy **** No story line. But, in principle, all games of this type work this way. So my rating is 8 out of 10. Poor optimization, incomprehensible combat, poor variability.     Ficou muito ruim no lançamento, mas agora teve um patch que corrigiu as travadas, caso voce ainda nao consiga jogar direito, use o dx11, foi um bom workaround até chegar o update. Pra quem tem PC batata, esquece o dx12.

The game itself is fantastic and a solid spiritual successor to Dead Space. I have a high-end gaming PC and experienced no issues whatsoever from start to finish twice (second playthrough to finish it on Maximum SecuritySeems like a lot of people with potato PCs are hating on this game.     Не смотря на проблемы при запуске, игра очень глубокая и атмосферная. А какие тут лицевые анимации, это чистый кайф. Надеюсь допилят до ума, как и с киберпанком, за техническими проблемами лежит крутая игра

    The game ia great. If you like single player action thriller/horror games (like resident evil or dead space) youll like this game. More melee than other similar games. Environment is great and story is okay enough to keep you playing.

    I went into this game blind aside from some reviews complaining of performance so I tested the in game benchmark and kept all setting high except turned shadows to medium for a 35 fps saving for what looked like no noticeable improvement. I played on a rx 6750 xt at 1080p with no RT as I prefer the better performance usually getting 90-110fps with 70fps low. I started my playthrough on the 12/15 update and had a great experience with no stutters! It took me 9h30m to finish the game on medium security as I took my time doing all the side areas. I was impressed at every turn between the insane graphics to the unnerving sound design. I don't really play any horror games but had no issue getting through the game. I enjoyed the story and because I'm a loot goblin I heard every side recording which helped my understanding while also getting every weapon. I feel I wasn't using one weapon to death as I had plenty of ammo the whole journey and at the end a total of 7 weapons upgraded thoroughly to cycle through. My only complaint would be the variety and number of bosses and non human looking (two arms, two legs) enemies and maybe some more meaningful scares.… Expand

    I had a blast with the game and enjoyed the story. If you like Sci fi horror games like system shock 1 2 and dead space, you will find enjoyment in the calisto protocol.

    I played the game from beginning to end on my laptop with no issues as well.

    The Callisto Protocol is an incredibly detailed and gruesome world, often times called the spiritual successor of the masterpiece that is Dead Space. However, although created by the creator of Dead Space, this is an entirely different venture and one that is worth experiencing. There are quite a few similarities between the two but instead of going through those. There are quite a few similarities between the two but instead of going through those. The Callisto Protocol stands on it's own two feet in it's rightful place as a great Action Horror. It was originally placed under the survival horror genre but I think, as of late, we've all gotten a little too loose with that term. This game is not a survival horror. Yes, you must try to survive the utterly brutal and bloody combat and it is a horror and horrific experience, with inventory management. But you aren't scavenging for ammo, nor do you ever feel like you can't take on what's coming around the corner. Instead, you're given a fantastic dodge mechanic or a block mechanic (although has chip damage) and plenty of ammo and health pickups along the way. You also have a 'telekinesis' ability that allows you to grab enemies and freeze them in place while gripping them towards you; setting you up for a melee combo to end with a shotgun blast or allowing you to hurtle them towards the many conveniently placed traps, where there are far too many. So with all the tools, abilities and plentiful pickups at your disposal, you never truly feel like you might not be able to handle your next encounter, even on the maximum security difficulty, which is the one I played on, and the only difficulty I believe you should play this game on. It's too easy to ever make you feel scared and so I can't imagine what a cake walk it must be on the lower difficulties. Although, I'd bet, it's still a heck of a lot of fun! But with that said, instead of categorizing it as a survival horror, I think we should be calling it an action horror and allowing for players to understand that it's a bit different, despite sharing many of the same elements of a survival horror.
    I played on a 3080 Ryzen 9 with ultra graphics set and it was as unbelievably gorgeous to look at, as it was gruesome and disgusting. Puss filled balloons made from the rotting corpses of your fellow peers, paint the floors and walls. Hideous monstrosities fill the corridors hoping not to eat you but to pass along the very virus that made them the way they are. It's your job to figure out what happened and hopefully make it out alive. The story for the first 3/4ths the game is very mild. An infection is loose and making it's way from person to person morphing them into abominations and like the growth of plant life, it's rapidly taking over everything that is known as Black Iron Prison. It isn't really until the final few chapters where the story really picks up and takes off, it's incredibly interesting the whole way through. But I really enjoyed where they went with it. It isn't anything we haven't heard before, but it's similar to, well, almost a resident evil in Space. I loved it, I don't think it's as good as Dead Space, but for what they did; I found myself being enthralled with it all, I had to see where the story took me. It's very clearly designed to be a new series and I just simply can not wait for the next stage in the story that they are telling. They are currently working on patches, but the first few days there were noticeable frame hiccups and drops, especially when it was during a time that would cause you to get hit. It didn't happen often for me and was never bad enough where it ruined the experience but it was noticeable and unfortunately did take you out of the immersion. They've made a couple patches and it's already gotten significantly better and I know they'll continue to work on more. But besides that small negative detail, I found myself falling in love with this game! Everything from the combat, to the acting! To the music and graphics, it was all so top notch and so well done. There's a lot of hate for this game right now and I can understand some of the criticisms. But the hate? I'll be honest, I don't see it and I don't get it. This isn't as good as Dead Space, but space is massive and there's plenty of room for other stories like this to be told and experienced. I truly think you're missing out if you don't see this one to the finish! I love it and I am eagerly awaiting any future content!    … Expand

    Лучший космисческий хоррор года! Это хардкорная, до жути мурашек топовый проект. Очень понравилось анимаци, графика и кастсцены. Невероятно сложно убивать монстров. Начальные локации были очень страшные! остальные так себе. Конец не очень понравилось, думал будет счастливее. Но хвалить могу за графику, на такие детали я смторел часами за всю игру, это полная эйфория глаз. Минусы: играЛучший космисческий хоррор года! Это хардкорная, до жути мурашек топовый проект.     Game has some issue at launch but after the second day patch works great, the game is not perfect but i think people was expecting way too much, i really enjoy playing it especially the soundtrack and the visual are amazing.
    The down probably are the boss battle a little underwelmin and is not that scary if you compare it to the progenitor, other then that i liked a lot the game!!!

Miloval jsem hledání zásob a objevování tajných cest (Beta paths), i když jsem si nikdy nebyl jistý jestli se jedná o tajnou odbočku nebo pokračuji v hlavní cestě ale vždycky jsem to správně odhadl. Příběh je skvělý má to tajemství i nějaké twisty, postavy jako Jacob (hlavní postava) a Deni (Kimiko z Boys)Skvělá hra, nelituji koupě. Combat je boží, lehký 1v1, těžký proti více oponentech. Atmosféra je také perfektní společně se zvuky. Grafika je skvělá skoro jako Last of us 2. Obrovské mínus je optimalizace na PC, splňuji hardware požadavky více jak dost a přesto mi to padalo na 30 fps hlavně při soubojích, pohrál jsem si s nastavením grafiky a měl jsem mezi 60 a 40 fps což bylo pro mě dostačující, s raytracingem je to zatím nehratelné. Tohle bylo mé shrnutí, problémy na PC vývojáři dozajista do tří měsíců opraví, obrovské plus je aspoň fakt, že za celou dobu jsem měl pouze na bugy, takže jedinou vadou je optimalizace.     I dont really understand the hate against this game. It is true that the story and gameplay is no very different to other survival games, and the performance could be better, but if you like the genre you will definitely going to enjoy this game a lot. Graphics and atmosphere are awesome, and close combat is a challenging and very interesting addition. If you like RE series and dead space,I dont really understand the hate against this game.     I really like the game. I have total dead space vibes each time I play this game. Brutal ,violent and vicious. Graphics are absolutely mind blowing.

    Very good game. I understand that I bought it after 6 months for like 20 dollars. Biggest issue with this game was clearly that they wanted 70 dollars for 10h long game. But right now for this price… very good. Great graphics (RT problematic and not worth it but without it it is still beautiful), interesting story, good acting, great gameplay. Story too shallow - I don’t get it, there is nothing wrong with story. Gameplay too repetitive ? I mean let’s take Darksouls for example - you just hit and dodge , same here just something new and really satisfying. There are some caveats like monsters not reacting when you stealth kill another monster just meter away. Anyway right now I am going to start hunting for Forspoken discount or something because I am starting to completely not believe that this game is so bad also.… Expand

Después de 5 días ya jugándolo en PC obviamente. los gráficos son espectaculares, con todo el ultra y el trazados de rayos activos en 4K, corre a 55 fps estables, teniendo activo el AMD frs2 en calidad hay instantes en que baja eso sucede de manera irregular por lo general corre suave y fluido, posee un buen rendimiento, hice pruebas bajando detalles y lo único que mejoraba eranBuenas.     A la mecánica de juego, rápido te habitúas a ella, principalmente es combate de melee, de las armas la escopeta me encanta, los enemigos suelen ir atacando casi de uno en uno o dos, así si vez muchos debes usar una estrategia de combate y saldrás airoso. Tiene sus momentos de sustos estos sus algo escasos. Al ser un entorno cerrados hay ratos que es claustrofóbico. El sonido anda muy bien, he notado que al jugar con sonido envolvente 5,1 la voz tiende a disminuir . La historia tiende a ser medio tipo Doom a ratos pasando a la intriga, mantiene la atención en ella desarrollándose. En general es un buen juego. Debiera ver mas aspectos para las armas    … Expand

    The Callisto Protocol is a bloody spectacle! I finished it on the hardest difficulty, Maximum Security. Great challenge at times. A nice combination of most of my favourite survival horror games such as The Last of Us, Resi 4, The Evil Within. My only nit-pick is that I would have liked it to be a few hours longer. 9/10

    + Outstanding graphics; very immersive. + Atmospheric audio is fantastic and well done. + Jaw-dropping death animations and visceral kill animations. - Pretty standard story; not bad, not great. - Characters are ok but need more depth. - Needs more enemy diversity. Gameplay could use some tweaks, especially the dodge    It has potential and is not as bad as everyone claims.

    The Callisto Protocol feels like a retread of the PS3 era of survival horror, but perhaps in the worst way possible. It’s clear that this title was made with Dead Space in mind, as it shared the same creator, but it’s also a look at how the genre has evolved since Dead Space was relevant. And while The Callisto Protocol’s narrative is lackluster, the gameplay could have been something great and ultimately redeeming about it. Instead, it feels trapped in the past and a worse iteration of what inspired it.

    I desperately wanted The Callisto Protocol to be a success so that we can have another Dead Space-like franchise to look forward to, but as it stands, I can’t recommend this game, especially until its issues are fixed in a future patch. I do hope that if there’s a sequel, developers will come up with something fresh to make us forget about the first game.
