    How do i stop playing ?
    This has to be one of the games i've played most and i'm still kinda bad at it.
    Seems simple on the surface but has unfathomable depths to it.
    Items descriptions are cryptic at best sometimes.
    Strong barrier to entry but once you're in, you can't get out.

    My favourite of the rogue-like genre, Binding of Isaac keeps you playing with new unlockables all of the time. These unlockables number in the 100's which results in hours upon hours of content.

    I've played near a thousand hours of this game. I can complete a almost any run I start. There is so much learning to it. "What does this item do with this item? "What does this room do?" "When should I use this item?" At the start you will die constantly, you will not complete your first run so don't expect to. I suggest using a controller, but keyboard is viable. I suggest using a controller, but keyboard is viable. You can enable mouse aiming in the .ini file by simply changing the value of the option to 1. I use a controller mainly but there are 2 items I switch to my mouse for when I pick them up. As I said, keyboard aiming is perfectly fine.
    It is not clunky, the game play is very smooth. It just takes getting used to, as with most games. The impatience of some of these reviewers baffles me.
    Overall, really incredible game. The only "bad" thing is your character tends to get stuck on a sticky pixel jutting out of the edge of rocks when you try to strafe around them. Such a tiny thing though. I can't think of any problems with the game. Thousand hours in and still loving it so I'd say a 10 is justified.    … Expand

    Lo que lo hace tan adictivo es el factor sorpresa, debido a que cada partida es diferente, con bases diferentes, salas diferentes y por supuesto, enemigos diferentes.
    Enfatizo en los jefes, que son de lo mejor del juego, muy originales todos, con una estética turbia.
    Si le doy un 8 es porque el juego tiene muchos fallos, sobre todo en pc, que en muchas computadoras el juego no inicia, se crashea muy seguido o tiene ralentizaciones cuando hay muchos enemigos, pero aún así no explica esas caídas de fps, (el juego tiene gráficos pixelados, la gracia de éste es su apartado artístico pixel-art de antaño).    … Expand

    If you liked the original, you'll like this one 10 times more. At first glance, it seems like a short game until you realize all of the new areas you can unlock, different endings you can get, secrets you can uncover, and devastating powers you can get.

    Из за Айзека я бы никогда бы не начал играть в рогалики.

    Unique, a bit disturbing atmosphere. It's difficult, requires a lot of dexterity, but it is very fun to play and very addictive

    The father of all that is roguelike.

    You can say about this game what you want.

    The sheer amount of items, synergies and things to discover make this one of the best roguelike games of all time.

    The game does have its problems, such as item bloat and whatnot, but if you do enjoy roguelikes in any way, this is a must-have

    Great game, great rogue-lite game, and very addicting. Gameplay pretty good, very few to no bugs, and dlcs are great adding more of everything, and with mods it gets even better.

    This game is an actively frustrating, clunky and poorly thought-out mess, elevating itself through it's style, it's myriad of items that change the way you play and a weird atmosphere, feeling disgustingly dark and hilarious all at once. Since it came out the roguelike/roguelite genre grew far beyond Isaac, but this game is ultimately a fun and unique experience, and everyone should try it out.

    One of the best indie games ever made. It's fun and you have to spend tons of hours to just unlock all the items and characters. The dlc's add more content and it's worth it. It could be better? Sure, but it's nearly perfect. The game is based on the RNG so you are not always on control, but it's one of the fetaures of this kind of games.
    Edit: after playing a few more roguelite games, I    One of the best indie games ever made. It's fun and you have to spend tons of hours to just unlock all the items and characters.     I got interested in this game from Youtube videos and my friends, and I have to say, it's great fun. The amount of content in this game will make you put hours upon hours into it. Unfortunately, parts of the game can get repetitive, but other than that, it is definitely worth a buy.

    This game introduced me to the roguelike genre. It has so much content, secrets, combinations of items. The progress in this game is so satisfying. At the beginning you struggle to get to the 1st boss, then to beat him, etc. and after dozens of hours its just bread and butter to you. 10/10

    I love the original flash game and although it has a lot of bugs and flaws I still play it very often, that being said this game is sooo much more and sooo much better! it added a lot of new items, bosses, floors, final bosses, characters, bug fixes, etc, etc.

    Binding of Isaac is the only game with roguelike elements that I came to like. The art style is amazing. The battles are very engaging. If you have a good combination of powerups the game becomes extremely satisfying. I love the variety of bosses and monsters. I love how there are many playable characters that you have to unlock.     The only thing that disappoints me is the soundtrack. Danny B and mudeth are too good. But other than that, I say it's a very good rogue-like game. With Repentance which adds some Antibirth (one of the best non-official contents) stuff, it's just getting better and better.

    Still I want the Eternal Mode from original game.

Rebirth — это предел мечтаний, Afterbirth добавил Hush, Afterbirth+... добавил множество бесполезных предметов, а вот Repentance чувствуется совсем не как Айзек. Может быть я выгорел, но мое мнение таково.Великолепнейший рогалик. Король рогаликов. Самое большое разнообразие. Обожаю Айзека, но с каждой итерацией он становился менее... выверенным, что ли.     It is a long game with a lot of content, like a ton of content that you unlock over time. At first, it can all become overwhelming, all the different enemies and items. You don't know what they do, but you will learn all that in the course of the game.     It has a terrifying story and at the same time very good and intriguing. The way the story mix religious aspects like the Seven Deadly Sins, Devils, and Angels are phenomenal. The soundtrack is also excellent. The gameplay is the best part, each new item you get can change completely the gameplay, so every single match on this game feels    For me, it is the best roguelike game ever.

    Gameplay: 10/10 There aren't enough words to describe how good this gameplay loop is.

    Recommend?: yes, this is the GOAT of roguelikes and the genre defining game. There is so much depth and nuance to your decision making and build choice. The characters feel unique and fun/challenging. Play this game.

    A game that everyone should buy.
    Lots of tools that make each game different from the last run, also the more you go on with the game the more tools you unlock, making the gameplay even more varied. Is all this not enough for you? There are tons of mods to make the game even more varied.
    In short, it's a game that is worth more than the money spent to get it, so it's a must buy.

    To me, the binding of Isaac is incredibly overrated. I love roguelikes but this game didn't make me want to come back to it like most other roguelikes I enjoyed. The game is well made but lacks that certain element that really engrosses you. I find the semi-religious story very interesting but it isn't implemented super hard within the game. Most will probably like it but for me I wasn'tTo me, the binding of Isaac is incredibly overrated. I love roguelikes but this game didn't make me want to come back to it like most other roguelikes I enjoyed. The game is well made but lacks that certain element that really engrosses you.     This was the first game that i got on steam and to the day i still play it. The game is in my opinion the best roguelike title to the date, it tremendously improves the firts game but keeps the style and playability of it.

    The excellent rogue-like horror came back to life with a new engine and lots of changes. Thanks to that, the game is a little more accessible, but still you will not get anything for free. Gameplay is great, Isaac’s torture still hurts and a joy of any tiny success will please you greatly. The Binding of Isaac is recommended by eight out of ten child psychiatrists.

    Of all the remakes that were released in 2014, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is truly a born again game. What once was just a sketch, turned into a beautiful painting.
