Nov 7, 2015The game is fun but there is a lot of grinding to get to the mechanical bosses but that's the only real grindy part. This Game with its retro looks and style similar to minecraft was very fun at the start but as stated the part between the wall of flesh and the last of the 3 mechanical bosses.

Feb 10, 2016Minecraft will 100% be better for multiplayer always but terraria is still fun with multiplayer and is even fun with single player when Minecraft single player is boring and a drag but terraria is fun since you will never know what you will find.
Buy for £9.99 its 100% worth it even with its minor flaws its still a fantastic game -

Jan 19, 2016Terraria is a great 2D sandbox survival. It is a great game to be immersed with. There is so much stuff that you can do in the game. Even though its basically like Minecraft, its a great game overall.

Feb 7, 2016If you're into survival games, this is a must-have. Terraria beats every survival and sandbox game out there.
This game is amazing, and updates are still coming! If you have friends, buy two copies and play together. You both wont regret it!
P.S. If you're more into building stuff, buy minecraft instead. -

Jan 28, 2018This game's great. I love it. From the fitting amazing soundtrack to the variety in every part of this game. Although the graphics are well, they're okay it's nothing really special, but its alright. The concept of it is great. The thing that really makes it special is the game-play and overall calm atmosphere of the game. I really do love it.

Apr 18, 2020This is what labour of love looks like. Countless updates received after release, there is just SO MUCH content, and the game is fun for a long time - there are many opportunities to progress! Some UX decisions could be improved, such as crafting, inventory management, getting to a menu :)

May 5, 2020Terraria is an awesome game with a lot to do. Bosses are fun and there are many unique weapons in this game that keep the game interesting. The best thing about this game are the mods. Once you've completed this game once, there is so much support from the community that add more content. The final Terrarria update is also coming out soon so it might change the score.

Jun 19, 2020Masterpiece. This timeless classic has so many mechanics yets excecutes them flawlessy. It starts slow, but as the gameplay loop gains momentum it is impossible to put down. The second half of hardmode is one of the funnest gaming experinces you can possibly have. Im not kidding. One of the best games of all time. All this for 2 quid (5 bucks for americans i think)

Feb 1, 2014I have lost many hours on this game that I would care to admit.
People compare this to Minecraft. This is an insult to Terraria.
The content you get from this 2D side scroller is enormous.
Don't want to say to much more except that if you don't buy and play this game, you are truly missing out. -

Jun 23, 2011I bought this game one week after it released and have enjoyed it tremendously. Yes its a simple 2d side scroller but its much more complex and winding than that. I have about 50 hours logged on it already and I am still planning on playing for at least that much more before I get tired of it (patch 1.05 coming out soon!
$10 buy it!!!!! -
Jun 20, 2011This game took me by surprise. I expected it to be a cheap, 2D minecraft clone, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it's so much more. This game is actually what I wished minecraft would have been. The exploration, treasures, and boss fights are all top notch, pun not intended, and lead to hours of fun.

Mar 19, 2012Terraria is one of the best sandbox games. Terraria has some Minecraft spirit, however the focus of the game is on fighting and crafting, so it involves more action. The best way to enjoy Terraria is to play it with a couple of friends on your own server.
-
Mar 16, 2012It's a title that will appeal to the adventurer, the explorer and the builder; not to mention those who appreciate a substantial amount of player freedom. If you happen to be all of those things, Terraria is a lightly tarnished treasure.

Mar 14, 2012A lot of games tried to copy Minecraft – or at least participate from its' success. But this two-dimensional take on the well known formula is the only game that is able to step out of the shadow of the indie phenomenon that inspired it. It leads you into a unique world full of creative magic.
