    This is sure the best game you can buy for $10 (or equivalent for your country/region). Been playing the game since the march of 2012 year, still a huge fan of this game. In my opinion, Terraria is one of the best indie games ever released.

    If you like Minecraft, then you'll love terraria. this game is packed to the brim with stuff to discover. I have over 400 hours in the game and I still haven't played all the secret worlds and used all the items. This might be a controversial opinion but I think terraria is a bit better than minecraft. Now i've been playing minecraft since 2014 and I have a huge amount of nostalgia forIf you like Minecraft, then you'll love terraria. this game is packed to the brim with stuff to discover.     Just hours upon hours of different and interesting stuff to do, but if you play for 800+ hours and have nothing to do, you can play modded which is as good as original game and play for almost forever

    This game is okay but i dont like that view, for me minecraft is a lot better this game never interest me and i played 100 hours but that game for me isnt that good, but its not bad at all but after some weeks the game just bored me so.

    Very fun and has endless amounts of replayability. If you get bored, good news! The devs released an official mod launcher, so you don't have to risk computer viruses and convoluted setup. Just click to install the mods you want and play! The game and launcher are even still receiving regular updates, unlike some games. *cough* TF2 *cough*

From its well designed progression, to its creative and fun weapons, to its brilliant music and boss design, to its refined building and crafting systems, this game succeeds in every area a 2D sandbox should. The unbelievable amount of free updates this game has gotten (and is stillDefinitely in my top 10 favorite games. The ultimate 2D sandbox. There just isn't a reason not to try this. From its well designed progression, to its creative and fun weapons, to its brilliant music and boss design, to its refined building and crafting systems, this game succeeds in every area a 2D sandbox should. The unbelievable amount of free updates this game has gotten (and is still getting!) is evidence enough to show just how much of a labor of love and passion Terraria is, and it's in depth modding scene that is integrated into the game itself only adds to this. This game is just barely not a 10/10 imo, due to its lack of an integrated guide. You will have to use a wiki to get to the end of the game, there is no way around it, but due to the way it's designed I don't have a big issue with that.… Expand

    This game has horrible graphics, and unlike similar games, it has the main character tiny on the screen. There is no story in this video game as it lacks any meaningful in-game culture. It lacks proper storytelling and does not have a narrative. It's just fighting boss A, then boss B, and finding the key to boss C's room. It is just about killing. There are only so many sword swipes over my character's head before I get bored. Minecraft inspires the graphics in Terraria. It is a pixelated universe. So, those that love this game generally like pixelated video games. It seems like a new thing - going back to the original pixelated games of Mario Brothers. Terraria generally has a young audience that plays it, though I think a handful of adults love it. I am an adult and played the game for 80 hours. I oddly was unable to past even close to the majority of boss battles in 80 hours. The game was tough for me to play - which I think it's too complicated. If an adult gamer cannot easily play this game, then how will children win in this game? Maybe I was not good at this video game.

    On the positive side, the game has a very upbeat feel. Everything is very colorful, and it is all about playing for fun. Constructed with unique and creative gaming mechanisms, Terraria is a path blazer in the video game community. I have talked to several kids who have played it, and they all love it. I have yet to meet someone who does not just adore this game. So, I think it is perfect for the kid gamer. I think the kids like this game because it is very playful. It is a challenge in hand-eye coordination, but kids are often up to this game's challenge! This video game is not something I would continue playing, but I certainly give it a nod.     honestly a really good game, it is so addicting and replayable i literally have 5000+ hours on it. the graphics are pretty decent and you dont need a beefy pc to run it. it also takes up almost no space and the mods are really good and you can easily make one yourself all around good game. nothing bad to say honestly

    I don't know what else I could say, this game is literally a masterpiece, practically flawless, only flaw I could think of is understanding what to do at the start, but once you pass the start, it's smooth sailing from there, the game is amazing, truly a masterpiece, it's the highest positive rated steam game for a reason

    Terraria is my favorite game of all time. There are many unique bosses, enemies, and weapons in the game. It has a bit of grinding but once you get what you were grinding and waiting for it's absolutely worth it. Mining, adventuring, crafting, and everything in this game I love. For only 10 dollars this is a must have.

    i **** love this game there's so much to do i didn't like it at all when i first played cause it doesn't;t do a very good job at explaining things but then i decided to use GOOGLE and the WIKI which made the game playable the whole game is just so fun ugh

    Beautiful game, people consider this a "2D Minecraft" but that's not at all what it is. Terraria is it's own, amazing game with much more to do. It has very fun exploration and lots of things to do, you can build, fight bosses, explore, all while finding new stuff in the world like dungeons, floating islands, whole new biomes ect.. The game also has one of the best modding communities I'veBeautiful game, people consider this a "2D Minecraft" but that's not at all what it is. Terraria is it's own, amazing game with much more to do. It has very fun exploration and lots of things to do, you can build, fight bosses, explore, all while finding new stuff in the world like dungeons, floating islands, whole new biomes ect..     Awesome soundtracks. you really want to just bang yourself to your keyboard because of how good the musics are!
    Boss designs and progression is also really god damn good and fun to go through

    Graphics doesnt matter, Gameplay is. and its good
    100% recommended. you will get addicted to this game at some point.

    My best friend started playing this because her laptop can't run **** and was loving it soo she told me to try it out... I was in the middle of my 5th WItcher playthrough soo i decided to give it a chance.... 150 hours later i am here reviewing it. SImply amazing, very fun

    Поиграл где-то полчаса. Для одного это очень скучная игра, как и майнкрафт. Но в моём круге очень много людей играющих в майнкрафт, поэтому я не играю в него один и мне он не кажется скучным. Конечно, в ней свои минусы, например бесполезное косметическое оружие на воина и СЛИШКОМ низкие шансы на аксессуары, некоторое оружие, питомцев, маунтов и магические предметы. Игре ещё есть куда стремиться, и я надеюсь, что она станет только лучше!Очень крутая игра! За 200 часов не разу не наскучила.     Se você gosta de si mesmo não jogue terraria, pois ele vai consumir seu tempo, sua energia e sua sanidade. Tenho mais de 500 horas nele e só zerei na dificuldade normal, mas é claro, para gente insana tem outras duas dificuldades e ainda por cima um mapa secreto que deixa mais impossível.

    Best sandbox i've ever player. I remember when me and my friends were playing it in vacations. It's kind a sad that this game won't get any big updates on fire, 1.4 was last. Good mechanics, plenty of building materials, ok multiplayer, cheap prise, many bosses and creatures, difficuties that offers more than Boss life and damage increse. Fun game, that i spent 400 hours in it and make allBest sandbox i've ever player. I remember when me and my friends were playing it in vacations. It's kind a sad that this game won't get any big updates on fire, 1.4 was last. Good mechanics, plenty of building materials, ok multiplayer, cheap prise, many bosses and creatures, difficuties that offers more than Boss life and damage increse.     Best sandbox game ever. It's in no way repetitive since you can start new games and challenges with different kinds of classes all over again without getting bored. The developers even implemented an unofficial mod loader (tmodloader) so people can enjoy new content even after the final update. (There were dozens of content patches after they announced to not add any new contents)

Terraria…I started play Terraria with my friends on 1.2 but we’re didn’t know there was a hardmode and hell.But game was too cool.After beating skeleton we’re started decorating our house.I tried to watch some Terraria videos and learned that we has got old version.I with big happiness runed to my friends to say that Terraria updated to 1.3!But when we played it my friends and I didn’t like new interface and control and continued to play 1.2.But I continued to play both versions.Learned about hardmode and we beated all 1.2 bosses but I beated moonlord and friends was in shock and tried to complete terrary without me… Expand

    Why are game critics stupid? They gave it a low score because it was a "Minecraft" clone but in 2D. They have the same genre but not the gameplay. Terraria is a game that just made me grind. It's so fun i actually had more time playing than me studying. The gameplay and graphics is very good. Don't even ask about the Soundtracks, cause holy **** it's the greatest game soundtrack ive ever heard.

    I have been playing terraria for years. Initially on my Xbox 360 I played this for hours. I then went to the pc version that had more content. I have sunk hundreds of hours on pc alone and I still find more items I've never seen and there are continuous updates years later. For 10$ this is one of the best values in gaming. The game is almost like a roguelike in a way I feel, each trip you make from your base into one of the many diverse biomes filled with unique loot and enemies.     This game totally exceeded my expectations (why play Terraria when I have Minecraft?) but man, it turned out to be one of the games that I have played the most on Steam.
    What can I say about the best progressing game i've ever played?
    If you finished it there is still hardcore-master mode and even Calamity mod to spice up the challenge a little bit more.

    masterpiece, perfect rpg where you have a lot of freedom, when choosing classes you can mix them, change them any time and that works so well, background art is beautiful.
    bosses are all fun, except for Golem he is too easy.

    Excellent casual game to play with the girlfriend. In the beginning it was difficult to understand how to play since the sandbox style game lets you figure things out on your own, and for the longest time I could not figure out how to build a simple house (all pixels need to be covered), but once we got the ball rolling it was a jolly good time!

    Terraria is one of the best sandbox games. Terraria has some Minecraft spirit, however the focus of the game is on fighting and crafting, so it involves more action. The best way to enjoy Terraria is to play it with a couple of friends on your own server.

    A lot of games tried to copy Minecraft – or at least participate from its' success. But this two-dimensional take on the well known formula is the only game that is able to step out of the shadow of the indie phenomenon that inspired it. It leads you into a unique world full of creative magic.
