Star Rupture strikes a smart balance between the sense of order found in factory builders and the constant pressure typical of survival games. It delivers the satisfaction of long-term planning and optimization, watching production lines run smoothly on their own, while periodic solar eruptions, shifting ecological cycles, and the threat of hostile swarms introduce a steady rhythm of exploration and combat. [Early Access Provisional Score = 80]

Creating intricate networks of machines in games like StarRupture and watching them work is undoubtedly enjoyable, as is exploring new spaces and finding the treasures they hide. StarRupture has this same calm rhythm, but it adds a touch of mystery and danger to keep things interesting. Although StarRupture is still in its early stages, it has great potential and a solid foundation. However, a full assessment of the game's potential requires waiting for its release. [Early Access Provisional Score = 70]

Even in its current state, Creepy Jar's sci-fi base-builder offers a lot to keep fans of automation and exploration busy. [Early Access Review]

StarRupture blends exploration, base building, and automation into a cohesive survival experience set on a hostile alien world. Its progression from early survival to large-scale factory management feels natural and rewarding, even in its current Early Access state. While some systems still need polish, the core gameplay loop is already solid and engaging. It’s a promising title with clear potential to grow into a standout within the genre. [Early Access Score = 77]

StarRupture is fun, and I’m likely to keep playing it once it gets a few QoL fixes and becomes a bit more well-rounded. The ore systems are addictive, the world is huge, and the core ideas are strong. But it was far from ready to be released in its current state, even in Early Access. [Early Access Provisional Score = 60]

StarRupture is an impressive title, even in its Early Access state. While the game clearly needs more content, I am excited to see where it goes as development continues. By the end of its Early Access run, I can easily imagine StarRupture becoming one of the premier base-building games in the genre, standing out for its unique premise, engaging mechanics, and beautiful graphics. I highly recommend checking the game out with friends, but I can also confirm that the solo experience is also really good. [Early Access Review]
