Dec 30, 2020Surprising when I see a game rated at 5.7, and think to myself "That is way too high". Disney and EA have destroyed the Star Wars of my youth :(.

Oct 6, 2020I get angry when I play games that aren't fun.
This game is.
It's not fun. I hope that Star Wars will stop. -
Oct 3, 2020There is no optimization, the plot is unrealistically bad, the graphics are terrible, the multiplayer modes are terribly boring. This game is not worth the money.

Oct 4, 2020TECHNICALLY UNPLAYABLE
The subreddit and EA answer forum is filled with complaints about how the game enforces a softcap of 60fps. Anything above 60fps and the game will become so stuttery it's unbearable. I'm so angry about getting hyped for another SW game... -

Crap story, rubbish like outdated gameplay.
EA and Star wars (Disney) two shocking companies come together. -

Oct 19, 2020This game is still in beta and should be marketed as such. Ranked system is broken, players are unlocking high tiered cosmetic thru a bug, and the frame rate stutters at anything over 60fps...

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 4, 2021The one and only chance to be a space pilot in a galaxy far far away. Living and experiencing adrenaline filled dogfight is simply breathtaking. [Issue#307]

CD-ActionDec 18, 2020To put it simply, Star Wars: Squadrons is a low-budget X-Wing vs TIE Fighter II based off of Battlefront II’s space battles. I admit that I expected more, but after two decades we finally got a new Star Wars sim (leaning towards the arcade side, but still) and I did enjoy it. It looks and sounds like a Star Wars game should, and Motive’s successful effort to balance such dissimilar crafts as the X-Wing and the TIE Fighter is commendable. [12/2020, p.64]

Nov 21, 2020There’s a good concept at the core of Star Wars: Squadrons, as flying a space fighter and managing its systems can be a lot of fun, however, you have to be a very dedicated Star Wars fan to enjoy a drab campaign with just a handful of memorable moments and watered-down multiplayer modes from Battlefront 2.
