    Playing on Master. I am getting my butt kicked left and right. Lost a whole XP bar to the stupid alien worm things because I missed a swing. But, by playijg on Master, really gives you a sense of building up from a Padawan to a full Jedi Knight. It is definitely a Souls game with a Star Wars coat, but it feels great and you can't cheat the system like in Souls games. Highly recommend.

    Once again, just another money washing machine from EA. Gameplay that was boring in the force unleashed come back, poor story and complete disregard of original lore of the universe.

    So far (3 hours of gameplay) this is amazing game. I like Star Wars universe and this is the best SW game for last 10 years. The combat is very challenging on hardcore difficulty, i personally couldn't kill one side creature in a cave after like 15 tries and just gave up and went on mission. Its not Dark Souls but close.

    What can I say, I'm loving it so far. Playing on Jedi Master difficulty. Great game.

    Beautiful graphics. Great gameplay, rewarding. Great story.

    No encountered bugs. Runs good. Zero microtransactions.

    If you ever wondered, what if STAR WARS could take the mechanics of Dark Souls and turn it into a game, Jedi: Fallen Order is that game. I have a love/hate relationship with this game. Tip: Keyboard and mouse players? You    Note: This $60 title does not have any Steam achievements. But you do earn achievements through the 'Origin' client which is... Odd.     If you ever wondered, what if STAR WARS could take the mechanics of Dark Souls and turn it into a game, Jedi: Fallen Order is that game. I have a love/hate relationship with this game.

    Tip: Keyboard and mouse players? You should really use a controller, this game caters to that more.

    I personally don't mind the somewhat open worldness to this game, it reminds me a lot of Dark Souls and Tomb Raider. Just like Dark Souls in this game you have "meditation circles" which work exactly like "bon-fires." They reset enemies and your health pods (Stims). The character mechanics isn't Assassin's Creed like you always have to be pressing 'E' in order to grab onto ledges or else he'll lose grip, also the character can't jump for nothing. What a lackluster and disgrace Jedi.

    The XP lost is where I hate this game. There are times where I lose all my XP due to a very powerful mini-boss, I try to get it back, I get it back, then die again and along the way and lose all my XP. I wish there was a way to turn this mechanic "off?" If you do lose all your XP and can't somehow get it back, you can't level up which means you can't get more skill points (you get these by leveling up) and this all comes down to being underpowered later on which you don't have set skills (which you could have had if you didn't lose all your XP). I personally think this XP lost ruins the game, I would rather take a Tomb Raider like experience where if you die you don't lose all your XP or have it where you tie the XP lost mechanic to harder difficulties.

    I first started playing this game on the second hardest difficulty, 'Jedi Master.' I later on dropped it down to 'Story Mode' difficulty (the you're trash at the game difficulty) because I was getting my butt handed to me on KB&M later on in the game when I found mini-bosses. Even though I'm trying to complete this game with a KB&M, when I'm trying to fight mini-bosses, I will mostly lose so I have to repeat these battles multiple times in order to win. Even then there is bug where it resets your difficulty if you did by chance change difficulties during the game (so keep can eye on that if you keep losing battles). I feel like difficulties don't even lower the mob animations, no matter what they just hit harder and harder without missing, it's pretty annoying. Another annoying thing is randomly out of nowhere where animals aren't supposed to be, Tomb Guardians, Jotaz‎ and another creatures appear. It seems like Respawn ran out of enemies or content to give you in specific areas, so they're like "oh, here's things to fight."

    Performance wise, I haven't had any crashes yet, but FPS does dip to low 51 with a 3900X and a 1070 FTW.

    In short, Fallen Order is horribly imbalanced, every word that describes unbalanced this is the game. It's a lot of dodging and parrying, backtracking and repetitiveness. If you like that type of thing, get it. If not, good luck playing it.

    Personally I only recommend this game due to the fact that the graphics, lore, the campaign and gameplay are pretty amazing, something that you can't get out of the Battlefront series. For an single-player only game though with no online at all, it's a tough sale. Is it worth $60? No, but I do think if the game was priced at $30 that would seem more reasonable and worth a buy at $30.    … Expand

    this like uncharted and dark souls and have amazing dark story . camerone is perfect actor and he deserve a bafta best performers award

    I played this game in one session, i was so addicted and obsessed with jedi fallen order. Very good game, nice combats, good story. Very nice work from respawn!

    To make it absolutely clear without going into any unnecessary details, I think it's enough to say that what was supposed to be Sekiro with Uncharted according to the reviews, eventually turned out to be rather The Surge with Tomb Raider... The better parts of those games.

    - The music and sound design is awesome
    - The lightsaber customization is very detailed and awesome - The movement and combat is really well done and fun - Deep lore Really love the challenging gameplay at the hardest difficulty, definitely the best Star Wars game since Force Unleashed, seems like it's even better. :) Overall:    My experience with the game so far is the following:

    Just what Star Wars needed. After the debacle of the movies and micro transaction nonsense this game is finally a step in the right direction. Very solid gameplay and an engaging story. The comparisons to god of war and uncharted were spot on, both excellent games. They also made sure it presented a challenge which I’m pleasantly surprised about. Please EA, more games like this!

    I'm someone who was really burned out of Star Wars thanks to the many movies with questionable quality that came after the original trilogy, and thanks to the low-effort games that EA has released in the past couple of years.

    But this game is a breath of fresh air. It's exceptionally well made, it combines a lot of gameplay elements wonderfully from some of my favourite genres, it's    I'm someone who was really burned out of Star Wars thanks to the many movies with questionable quality that came after the original trilogy, and thanks to the low-effort games that EA has released in the past couple of years.

    But this game is a breath of fresh air. It's exceptionally well made, it combines a lot of gameplay elements wonderfully from some of my favourite genres, it's truly a joy to play and it reignited my love and hope for Star Wars again. This is my New Hope.

    You can really tell that the many artists, developers and writers put their heart and soul into making this game. These people actually understand what was so special about the original movies and in general, about Star Wars. This game is a work of passion.

    The atmosphere is strong, the soundtrack is mesmerizing and evokes the same feelings as those old movies did with their own music. The characters are well written and likeable, the world is rich and full of mysteries and interesting places waiting to be explored.

    In terms of gameplay, the best way to describe Fallen Order would be that it's a lovechild between Uncharted and Sekiro, coupled with a Metroidvania-style level-design and progression. The exploration is rewarding, the combat is tactical, deep, fast-paced, and satisfying, and there's always a strong sense of progression.

    Buy this game, or rent it using Origin Access Premiere (like I did). It deserves it, we should support great games like this.    … Expand

    Felt like this game was a 7.5-8. Extremely fun lightsaber content, Great characters, and good writing are where this game shines. The skill progression left much to be desired (not a skill tree just choose which you unlock first) and meditations felt like a forced mechanic because "dark souls is good". Overall as a mainly RPG player, I enjoyed the game but more customization of skills andFelt like this game was a 7.5-8.     This game is amazingly fun to play, I've been hooked in since i started, getting lost of time and it must be said I am a massive star wars fan, I know they tied this in with the release of the mandalorian but goodness i did not expect EA to come through, i am thoroughly enjoying this game so far

    Графика в игре была б эпична для 2016-2017 года, однако на дворе 2019, полным ходом уже внедряется рейтрейсинг в играх с более-менее открытым миром, а данная игра полностью коридорна, хоть и с несколькими вариантами этих коридоров почти всегда, но всё же не имеет богатого открытого мира, местоположение нипов строго заскриптовано, мультиплеера нет, и при этом всём вот такое качествоГрафика в игре была б эпична для 2016-2017 года, однако на дворе 2019, полным ходом уже внедряется рейтрейсинг в играх с более-менее открытым миром, а данная игра полностью коридорна, хоть и с несколькими вариантами этих коридоров почти всегда, но всё же не имеет богатого открытого мира, местоположение нипов строго заскриптовано, мультиплеера нет, и при этом всём вот такое качество картинки...
    Теперь геймплей: тут я разделю на несколько подчастей:
    Управление - сюда же запишу и камеру, так как считаю эти части неделимыми, управление и камера мне очень сильно напомнили Лару Крофт Томб райдера тех же годов, ооооочень сильно похожее управление и такие же баги камеры при передвижении, да разработчики таким образом смогли добиться большей атмосферности за счет подчеркивания именно того что они б хотели показать в кадре,но вот этот же нюанс безбожно бесит при передвижении в сложных местах, так как человек далеко не всегда готов к переходу от свободной камеры к залоченой на определённый ракурс, часто это бывает совсем не ожидано что приводит к прыжкам/кувыркам в не верное место и как итог - смерть,респавн что тоже является той еще болью в 5й точке изза особенностей геймплея
    Геймплей - оооочень сильно чувствуется влияние соулс типных игор, однако геймплей ближе к Дарк Соулс первому или даже "demon's souls" что является прародителем всей этой ветки игр, в игре всего 4 сложности, я прохожу на 2й и даже при этом в схватках с мини-босами им хватает 2-3 простых ударов или же 1го особого удара что б меня шотнуть, а сами хитбоксы, такое чувство, что у врагов и персонажа одинаковые не смотря на то что персонаж простой человек, а враги, зачастую, размером с слона и как итог ужасно бесит что моб укусивший тебя за световой меч(за его лезвие) оттяпывает у тебя половину здоровья, что выглядит крайне глупо, а вот ты нанеся краем светового меча по шкуре моба не наносишь ему вообще никакого урона, что б нанести урон врагу нужно стоять практически в упор к нему что б световой меч водрузился минимум на четверть в плоть врага, тогда он получит урон... И все это дополняется механиками "соулсов" что атаки вражеских босов нельзя отбивать, а только уворачиватся и перекатываться от них что та еще головная боль, также систему сохранений позаимствовали у "соулс" типных игр, а имено: нужно находить специальные места и в них "медетировать" тогда можно прокачивать персонажа, сохраняться и при желании восполнять НР и МР, однако восполнение НР и МР приводит к респавну всех врагов на карте....
    а вот сюжет игры, как минимум на данный момент, мне очень даже нравиться, здесь нет избыточной сопливости и не нужного героизма как в последних фильмах, персонаж вполне с головой на плечах и принимает вполне адекватные решения исходя из ситуаций    … Expand

    I've only played about 3hrs of this game so far and I have to say, its tons of fun. Puzzles, a good combat system and a decent story elevate it to the levels of its obvious inspirations like DarkSouls, DarkSiders, God of War and Uncharted, so if you liked any or most of these games, you will like this one too.

    Thank you Respawn for not messing this up because of some **** deadlines imposed by EA!

    Really solid game. Graphics overall look great. I enjoy the Souls-lite approach to combat.
    The running/walking animations seem off. Lacking an engaging story line. Really wish looting or more rewards for defeating bosses was a part of core game play. If Star Wars is on your radar, this is worth a play through.

    There's so much attention to details, any STAR WARS fans or even non STAR WARS fans will apreciate for sure.
    Story seems pretty good so far and really interesting.

The Star Wars world is completely immersive, and the game has absolutely none of those annoying microtransactions or loot boxes. It's a rare joy to enjoy a big budget game that isn't constantly trying to steal moreIt's Tomb Raider with lightsabers, which is not a bad thing! Lots of beautiful scenery with platforming and puzzle solving, punctuated by a lot of Star Wars style sword play.     This game is a strong example on how to make a solo experience enjoyable. A good story in which you feel invested, a challenging gameplay, and strong influences here and there while keeping the "star wars feel" intact. However it's not perfect, it has a lot of backtracking making platforming a bit boring over the long run, but it's only a problem if you wish to 100% the game.

    pls dont make me accidentally walk onto an elevator that automatically starts and takes me 45s to get back to where i was without realizing i was walking into an elevator. other than that good game

    If you forget for a second about this being a Star Wars game, then what we have is a solid experience, if maybe not that innovative. Add the great implementation of Star Wars world and the great story and what we have is one of the best games of 2019.

    Lara croft meets the force ! It is a fun game wich looked a lot to the tomb raider series and implemented same features lile gliding downhill while "steering your character" crawling between small openings. Puzzels are very much like tomb raider aswell. But this is not a bad thing at all ! Its a perfect mix and match of two games

    Purtroppo il gioco non è un "action-rpg", ma un vero e proprio puzzle game con qualche combattimento qua e là. Per carità, non è assolutamente un gioco brutto, anzi lato artistico e di complessità degli ambienti è veramente bello, sono rimasto fermo ad ammirare alcuni scorci con la bocca aperta, e se me lo avessero venduto come "puzzle game" a 29€, avrei dato 1010 e mi sarei tolto ilPurtroppo il gioco non è un "action-rpg", ma un vero e proprio puzzle game con qualche combattimento qua e là. Per carità, non è assolutamente un gioco brutto, anzi lato artistico e di complessità degli ambienti è veramente bello, sono rimasto fermo ad ammirare alcuni scorci con la bocca aperta, e se me lo avessero venduto come "puzzle game" a 29€, avrei dato 1010 e mi sarei tolto il cappello. Il problema è che se tu me lo piazzi come "action-rpg-soulslike", non ci siamo proprio. Un Sekiro ha una personalizzazione irrisoria del personaggio ma un combat system mastodontico e divertente ( seppur con qualche lacuna ). Questo invece ha una personalizzazione esclusivamente estetica ( banalotta ), ed un combat system povero, ma approfondiamo il tutto. Palesemente richiama Sekiro, con un attacco standard, una parata, e qualche skill ( un secondo attacco pesante che richiede stamina ma inutilizzabile essendo troppo lento e non così potente ). Il problema fondamentale è che la parata è impensabile, e non parlo da neofita, parlo da appassionato di questo genere di giochi e che ha concluso poco fa Sekiro. Semplicemente molte parate sono imprevedibili, perché un mostro che in un millesimo di secondo passa dalla guardia ad un morso, è semplicemente imprevedibile, riflessi o no. Molte animazioni non hanno quel caricamento più o meno lungo che va visto per effettuare una parata. Il problema principale è che non avendo quella profondità e quella precisione di parata di un sekiro, non può il combat system basarsi su questo, e deve essere integrato da abilitàcombo. Questo è avvenuto splendidamente con i vecchi star-wars, a partire dal vecchio "la vendetta dei sith" ai vari "il potere della forza 1 e 2". Su questo fallen-order invece non avviene, perché non ci sono abilità, oggetti, nulla di nulla. Le uniche abilità sono: una che rallenta il nemico, una che lo spinge via, ed un'altra che lo tira a sé. Nei vecchi Star Wars vi erano dei poteri che si integravano con le combo, c'era una profonda complessità ( andate a vedere le combo di spada possibili su un star-wars la vendetta dei sith ) che consentiva una "spettacolarità" che qui non c'è.
    In sostanza per riassumere, il combat system è un Sekiro con un sistema di parate peggiore e molto meno profondo.
    Ritornando invece a quel che funziona, parliamo dell'esplorazione. I poteri si integrano perfettamente con il movimento del giocatore, e man mano che avanza il gioco è possibile ripercorrere zone già scoperte per raggiungere posti prima inaccessibili. Se a questo leghiamo un reparto artistico di pregio, è facile arrivare al fatto che questo aspetto del gioco sia stupendo. Fantastica anche l'idea di integrare alcuni degli "upgrade" di movimento tramite un robottino che ci seguirà in tutto il gioco. Purtroppo però manca anche quella gratificazione dell'esplorazione, non essendoci qualcosa di veramente raro da trovare. Aggiungendo ad esempio un intero set di equipaggiamento, e qualcosa che influenzasse veramente la spada laser ( danno, velocità, danni magici, e parecchi altri parametri possibili ), si sarebbe data una complessità al gioco che avrebbe fato una spinta notevole al tutto.
    Riassumendo, avremo un continuo sviluppo delle abilità "della forza" del personaggio, e "meccaniche" del robottino ( ad esempio scalare in salita i cavi o attivare determinati circuiti ) che permetteranno il proseguimento della storia.
    In sostanza, purtroppo il gioco pecca nell'aspetto più importante, e si arriva a percepire i combattimenti come una stucchevole parentesi tra un'esplorazione divertente e l'altra. Questo ovviamente è inammissibile in un action-rpg...
    Peccato perché veramente, sarebbe bastato qualcosa in più per tirare fuori un capolavoro. Invece è un semplice puzzle game esplorativo, che non vale assolutamente 60€, e probabilmente non so quanto senso abbia di essere giocato. Nota divertente: non esiste alcun tipo di viaggio rapido ( se non tra pianeta e pianeta una volta ritornati alla nave spaziale ), proprio perché gli sviluppatori hanno capito che il percorrere la mappa e scoprire nuovi percorsi, è una delle parti più divertenti del gioco ( e forse l'unica )...    … Expand

    Great level design (Metroidvania style), incredible combat system and atmosphere. Basically it is a mix of Sekiro (Combat), Uncharted (Platforming), and the Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy (force powers).

    You will really feel that you are Jedi.

    The game is an excellent blend for what is needed for a star wars game. It combines amazing combat with good uncharted feeling exploring and parkouring. The story gets you involved and by the end, I really felt for the characters and it surprised how attached I was to them. Respawn has done an excellent job and if you are thinking of buying this game I would recommend it.

    Simply this game is God of War (2018) + Uncharted Series + Sekiro mixed together It has some iconic points from these games but this is not a bad thing in my opinion cause those games proven theri succes very well so generally this game does not have so much unique points but it's narrative and challenging gameplay makes it so fun.

    I rarely write reviews nowdays but Jedi Outcast and Jedy Academy are the games I grew up with alongside the KOTOR series. This game is such a blast from and reminds me tons about Jedy Academy which is still one of the best Star Wars games ever made. This game is perfect and I do hope they make a sequel maybe where they can delve a bit more into the darkside skills wise.     * Graphics. They range from good to bad. Some parts of the game look fantastic but there are quite a bit of low res textures, bad looking effects and LOD popping.     I love that game. We had to wait 10 years for another sigleplayer star wars. Respawn you did it! I love the story, the characters. Combat system from dark souls is hard but also satysfaing and fair. Every boss fight is good and long. I wish only this game would be longer, but still i was having so much fun with it.

    Just finished them game. This game is combination of Darksouls and Tombarider.
    Graphics and music are outstanding. Did play with mouse and keyboard but had to remap some buttons. Only Dislike about the game is that you need to get back to the same planets again and again.
    Would rather have more location.

    I was gonna give this game a 7 for bring a bit unfair, ( i am playing at max difficulty) i was playing this game angrily, which made me reckless, but then i decided to calm down, and make the force my ally, and so i finished the whole planet of bogan without taking damage, (believe it or not) this game requires extreme finesse

    The only downside, its seems there is a lack of a NG+ option. All i wanted was to replay the game on a new difficulty setting whilst keepign my unlocks - will just have to start a new game. no biggy.    … Expand

    Other than a few instances of not being able to backtrack in certain areas, this game is amazing and easily the best Star Wars game we've had since the original Battlefront 2. My only complaint is the best complaint: I want more.

    Excelente juego, graficos, emocionante, musica, efectos, audio. Minimas cosas tecnicas de mejorar q ojala lo solucionen con parches pero es excelente. En este momento tengo i38100, RTX 2060, 16GB Ram instalado en SSD, Todo en ultra. (Se lo del cuello de botella) pero realmente no afecta. Excelente y hermoso juego. El contenido para el universo se agradece.

But that's what made it mine, my lightsaber felt like it was actually mine.

    This game has charm, it has exploration, it has story and the combat is pretty well done.
    The only reason I'd give the game a 9 instead of a 10 is I personally have encountered several graphical bugs a few odd but funny bugs and one game crash in about 19 hrs of game play.

    If you love star wars but hate what Disney has done or even if you like what they've done you'll love this game. This is my star wars.    … Expand

    The history is very good and the characters are very polished with good developments.
    The graphic effects and animations are stunning and the game is very well optimized. And the cut-scenes, such masterpieces.
    The concept of art from the main characters, to the Mantis, to the planets and all its environment, to each enemy and creature, was very well made. The production team has my congratulations.

    That being said I have one downside and one mixed feeling.
    The downside was that our character didn't get to choose its second combat style. The one handed saber is standard for everyone, but in my opinion we should had been given the option about the second style. If it would be two handed (as it is) or dual wield (such as Malicos), since our Padawan is learning his own way.

    The mixed feeling is killing humans with a lightsaber. Well, it doesn't matter the armor the person is using, light sabers should cut people in half unless there is an energy shield. But I can understand the developer worries about it becoming too easy, or too hard, cause since the NPC would die with one hit or shot, the player too. It could become quite frustrating. People doesn't think about that often.

    This is not a game for everyone, for some people it might be boring because of backtracking.
    But I like it a lot. I think it is rewarding becoming strong and getting new abilities so I can loot new stuff in areas where I couldn't before.

    This is hands down one of the best single player Star Wars games within recent memory. The combat is fun and engaging and provides a real challenge at times, and the level design is fantastic for exploration. The game does a really good job at balancing. Respawn did a hell of a job on this.

    Really worth gameplay, zero enjoying the game. boss have unblockable moves spamming all the time and u have zero moves like that. creators should just retire

    Good game, one of the best Star Wars games I've played. Ratings of course are skewed probably because of the "Star Wars" name and franchise. Music and sounds are fantastic, good story, runs very well, combat is fun! That said, it's no Death Stranding..that was an experience like no other, this is a fun star wars game. So how this game would rate beyond that one is beyond me and have toGood game, one of the best Star Wars games I've played.     Wonderful written story that enrich the Star Wars universe even more.

    The Good: story, challenge gameplay, level design
    The Okay: Some small bugs
    The Bad: Wish it has side quests other than just the collectables.

    Surprisingly good game. Kind of a mix between Dark Souls, Uncharted and Tomb raider, with lightsabers of course. It gives off real star wars vibes.
    Story is good, combat is great and the World is beautiful. Would recommend for people who are fans of the games i mentioned or just Star Wars fans.
