    Unfortunately there is no online in 2023, it is safe to say that online is dead in this game, there is nothing more to do without it, missions with bots are boring, I really liked the sounds of weapons, graphics and atmosphere, but after a couple of days I completed all the tasks with bots it was pretty boring, there is no storyline, in fact only the maps change, but everything is theUnfortunately there is no online in 2023, it is safe to say that online is dead in this game, there is nothing more to do without it, missions with bots are boring, I really liked the sounds of weapons, graphics and atmosphere, but after a couple of days I completed all the tasks with bots it was pretty boring, there is no storyline, in fact only the maps change, but everything is the same, control on fighters is poorly implemented, aiming at the target does not work normally… Expand

    The graphics were amazing, i was blown away.
    But the lack in contant was no good move from DICE. Only a few maps and the rest was DLC.

    Damn, idk what keeps me playing this game, maybe nostalgia. I cant point you whats good, whats bad but i just enjoy playing it. Either singleplayer and multiplayer which is pretty much dead now.

    Game is complete trash and a rip off. Not even worth your time. Nobody plays the season pass, which was $50. The weapons are extremely unbalanced and spawn points are terrible. The enemy team can get behind your spawn and just snipe you. Not to mention the jetpack which allow players on top of the map with unlimited sniper shots.     Game looks nice, but it doesn't have a lot of content. After a while it gets boring. Spaceship wars are only in DLCs. + Now the game is dead, there is only few players.

If your series is mainly an MMORPG then to an extent it's fine, be positive you don't have anything in an MMORPG that gives players an advantage. Monthly subscription or free to play it's perfectly fine, for mobile games as well. And that goes for multiplayer exclusive genres like Mobas, Hero Shooters, Team Shooters and MMORPGs. No loot boxes though.

    Another thing is the best Nintendo Switch game of the year is Octopath Traveler as well as Smash Bros. Ultimate, it's a tie, that's a fact. Nintendo would survive without Mario and Sony would survive without Naughty Dog/Gran Turismo. That's fact.

    Tausend mal besser als der zweite Teil.Besser als alle Battlefield Teile nur Battlefield 5 macht ihm Konkurenz.Super Muliplayer nur der Einzelspieler Modus lässt zu wünschen übrig.Sehr zu empfehlen.

    Either that game was rushed or someone needs to be fired. I'm astonished by how empty Battlefront is. I bought it hoping for a successor to the original Battlefront serie, needless to say I was disappointed.

    The game runs great and is generally a really fun game despite it's surprising lack of game modes, maps, character customization and uniqueness. However, the game has died and no longer has the player base to actually join a 40 man match.

    OK the premise looked fantastic. Who wouldn't want to be "in" the movies with a game like this. Unfortunately, this game doesn't have the story the movies tell, so you're left with the gameplay. Unfortunately, the gameplay is weak and does get boring fast. After a couple of tutorials - many which are very boring - you very quickly realise the weakness of this game. While I find the FPSOK the premise looked fantastic. Who wouldn't want to be "in" the movies with a game like this. Unfortunately, this game doesn't have the story the movies tell, so you're left with the gameplay. Unfortunately, the gameplay is weak and does get boring fast. After a couple of tutorials - many which are very boring - you very quickly realise the weakness of this game. While I find the FPS bits OK, the vehicle handling is terrible - scooters, X-wings, etc. handle in a very imprecise way, leaving very much to be desired. I played it for over an hour and already found myself quite bored. I think it's tried to be everything to everyone and end up being not very good at everything. Overall, I think there's not enough "weight" to either the story or the gameplay. It's OK and relatively fun in small doses, but didn't hold my attention long, and made me long for more "weighty" FPS such as Far Cry 3 or 4. And of course, single player is probably not the best reason to buy this game anyway.… Expand

    Looks stunning and plays smoothly, but it kind of makes me feel like I'm playing the FPS version of a GTA game that only has two roads.

    This is a great game if you want to feel like being in a Star Wars movie (only one of the original movies because apparently everyone's in denial). It looks amazing, sound is amazing....and that's it.
    If you're looking for a game, this isn't it. Gets boring after a few min. I bought this on sale and I still can't see the value in paying $10 for this game apart from the Star Wars royalties.

    I have never seen as laggy internet gaming experience as this one in past 10 years. Since broadband widely spread across our homes, we almost forgot about internet lags. Star Wars Battlefront will remind you what dial-up internet felt like.

You'll be playing the same game mode over and over again on a few maps that looks great but underneat are all the same.     And the worst is that EA even didn’t wait a year to say (hey we know we made mistakes with the actual BATTLEFRONT so the next year BATTLEFRONT 2 will have all the things that the 1 didn't have, so **** you!!, you will have to pay us a complete extra game with all the **** dlc so you can almost enjoy the complete Star Wars "experience", because being honest we are going to release a BATTLEFRONT 3 with all the things that the 1 and the 2 didn't had)
    There are no pros and cons for me, only that this game sucks.

    3) To level up you need to grind really hard.

DLC has cut its already small player base in half by making its desperately needed content only available to people who paid out the ass for this crap.

    All EA had to do was take the greatly loved concepts of the earlier Battlefronts and slap their beautiful atmosphere on top of it, and I guarantee this review I'm writing would've been much, much higher.    … Expand

    Its ok for a star wars fan. Graphics is really great, AT-AT mode is quite interesting but dont expect the game to be fun for more than a few days. Actually if they only put the gameplay of the good old BF 2142 into this game, it would be much better. Gameplay in SW battlefront isnt really developed or advanced .

    A piece of junk. Hackers are abundant. Same netcode issues as Battlefield 4. Same silly bugs as Battlefield 4 that never seem to be fixed. Real content is subsituted with starcards and pickups, most of which are useless.

    The game looks nice and plays fluently. Most of the stuff is well balanced, but it's far too much about grinding and purchasing DLC. Team Fortress 2 is a free-to-play title, and it's less greedy than this 50€ game. Very awkward, I'm asking you not support this.

    Since the day before yesterday, ppl start to jump into the enemy, use disruption card, and then rape the fking whole group of ppl up with EE4. It is not unusual for one guy to kill some 10 ppl with these overpowered sh*ts. EE4 alone is so overpowered in close combat already, 5 shoot burst with so much damage, it's two shot kill, instant kill! it rapes EE3 down to the ground, up to the sky, and then back to the ground again. Now everyone who purchased the DLC is switching to EE4, and I only managed to kill those ppl a few times using EE3.

    This is so bad. This is pay to play, pay extra to win. Fk off EA, Fk off Dice, Fk off Start War Battlefront. I played Dice games since BC2, and nvr lose my faith even playing that unfinished BF4 ffs. But today, I'm done with this. There is also a lack of attention for PC players, you can't actually choose what map or gamemode you want to play, you'll get put back into a playlist of modes that you'll have to play, the game is riddled with hackers that have been reported countless times, but EA who is responsible for actions against hackers has taken none, want a taste? Google "LordSnowNL". They are very view PC players now.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game should be called Star Wars Battlefield, not Star Wars Battlefront. I do not consider this game part of the Battlefront series. And even as a "Battlefield" game, it is lacking.

    In short, I am very disappointed in the game.

    We all spent a lot of money on this game for so little replay value and overall content. I am also disgusted that we all have to fork out even more money to acquire content that should have been included in the initial release.

    No campaign, no space battles, lack of maps, stupid "star cards" system, get very boring very quickly (We have done about 38 hours with 4 people and we are all already sick of it), etc (The list goes on).

    The most annoying thing of all is that I could not, and cannot, refund it.

    I cannot say that it is all bad, the graphics and sound mechanics are unquestionably beautiful. They are just stunning and you can see a lot of effort was put in.

    But overall, I give this game 1/10 as it is just not what we wanted, they could have done so much better and to be frank I think they are just being greedy in the whole money aspect.    … Expand

Yes, it was. Unlike the original BattlefrontI gave EA/DICE a chance on this one. I don't splurge 60$ for a video game often, but I loved the Battlefront games growing up, so I had to get this one. Unfortunately, I don't have a PlayStation or XBox, so I had to get it for PC via Origin. After hours of downloading, I open it up, look around a little, and my first thought was "is this it?". Yes, it was. Unlike the original Battlefront games, there is little single player "instant action" type game modes. Only two, both being a team deathmatch of sorts that gets old after a couple plays. I get that the main feature of this game is its online play, so I checked that out. It took forever to load, and several disconnects from EA servers (which are terrible by the way), but I finally got in and explored the game modes. The number of maps is limited; only four planets with different maps on each one. Most of the game modes are forgettable - mostly they boil down to spawn, kill, die, repeat. I don't see any aspect of skill improvement; most of it's just luck in where you spawn and managing to shoot straight.

    The specifics are a drag as well. The guns, which vary based on rate of fire, range, and damage, are unlocked via leveling up, which is only done by playing multiplayer. Likewise, skins for your rebel or imperial character are unlocked the same way. They aren't exciting, just different faces, hair styles, and eventually species/armor changes such as Twi'leks and shadowtroopers. The season path is simply ridiculous. It's 50 more bucks and you get some average guns and more maps, making almost a pay-to-win FPS.

    A little more specifics: power ups. Instead of hopping in an X-Wing that is sitting around, you pick up a glowing power up thing, hold a button, and magically appear in the air, flying the X-Wing (just an example of the debilitation of gameplay).

    What EA has done here is sold a bare-bones game and added expensive DLC, knowing that people will buy it because of TFA hype and the necessity for further enjoyment in an otherwise dull game. I guess they put all their resources into graphics and audio and simply forgot that there's a pretty important aspect called gameplay (the graphics, to be fair, are pretty incredible, and the audio is reminiscent of a real Star Wars battle).

    I'm going to sound cliché here, but EA had beautiful references to work with, even if they were a decade old. Those games were unique, ahead of their time, and provided endless hours of fun in a variety of ways. Instead, it feels like a COD-esque game with a dash of Star Wars, with rushed fundamentals thrown together in time to hit shelves at optimal time and profit.    … Expand

All in all this is a Horrid Reboot that has about as much content as a Expensive bit of DLC. A better purchase, even with the servers offline, is the other two battlefront games.     I’ve loved the Star Wars Battlefront games since I was a kid but EAs version was a little disappointing. These games are based around the Star Wars Universe where you travel the galaxy and have epic battles. The first two Battlefront games were very good. In these old games there were three game modes: Campaign, Galactic Conquest, and the best game mode of them all Instant Action. In Campaign you fight in the battles from the movies in chronological order. There is the Galactic Civil War and the Clone War Era campaigns you can play through. In Galactic Conquest you and the enemy fight for different planet's using your troops and other items such as reinforcements to win the battles. Whoever captures all the planets first wins and conquers the galaxy. In the Instant Action battles you choose wherever you want to go battle and then your era and then your side and go to battle.
    In the new Battlefront many things have changed. The graphics have improved and that's a very good change. The bad changes however are that EA has completely gotten rid of the classic battlefront style. There's no Instant Action, Campaign, or Galactic Conquest. They have also gotten rid of the class selection. With the class selection you got to choose one of 6 or 7 (depending on the game) classes. There was Normal Trooper, Sniper, Engineer, a Rocket Launcher character and special classes such as Jet Trooper or Wookiee Warrior. Instead in the new game you make your own character and choose all their abilities and guns. I am very disappointed in that decision because it is unfair. You could have a character with the best gun in the game and another character with the worst gun in the same game and that's unfair to the character with the worst gun. In the new game you have to level up by killing people, killing heroes, taking command posts etc. The worse level you are the worse guns there are available. There are also only 4 maps whereas the other games had 20 give or take a few. These 20 maps were planets from all the movies and that were very unique and fun.
    The vehicle mechanics have also changed dramatically. Instead of vehicles scattered throughout the map where you can hop on even if it's your enemies tank it's little vehicle icons around the map where you get and suddenly get transported into your vehicle. I strongly dislike this change and I think they should have kept the vehicle mechanics the same because they were better than the current ones. They were easy and actually let you get in the vehicle and get out and didn't magically teleport you into a vehicle.
    Another feature that has changed is the heroes. In this game there are 4 per side (but more will be added in future dlcs). In the first game there were computer heroes based on your era. In the second game there is approximately 10 or so per side if you choose Hero Assault mode in Instant Action otherwise there is a specific hero you can be on each side depending on the map. In the second game you get your main weapon and a force power or infantry power such as grenades. In this new game there is two heroes with lightsabers Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. They can use two strike moves and dash move. The hero's without a lightsaber are Princess Leia, Han Solo, Nien Nunb, Emperor Palpatine, Boba Fett, and Greedo. They all have different moves such as Greedo's Dioxide Grenade or Leias Squad shield. These moves are very powerful and maybe just a little overpowered. I like the new hero mechanics but also miss the old ones too.
    In this game you only get to be in the Galactic Civil War Era whereas in the older games you could be in the Clone War Era. With the release of Star Wars the Force Awakens you'd think that there'd be a era for that in this game but no. I wish they would add this but they probably wont. I am looking forward to the Bespin and Death Star Dlcs which will add a lot of new things. They are going to add two heros per dlc and The Death Star and Bespin maps! Hopefully Cloud City and Bespin platforms from the old games will be part of the dlc!
    I overall think this game is good but not my favorite of the Battlefront Series. Im sad that they took out the original battlefronts style and mechanics but it makes the game a little better too. I recommended you buy this if you love Star Wars and The Battlefront Games. Have fun playing and may the force be with you!

    The pc version of the game is dead. The available games you can find range from 1 to 2, and usually they are not typically filled. Consoles versions are apparently populated but buying it on the pc is just a waste of money at this point... Not that it wasnt to begin with.

    Gameplay is horrific. I feel embarrassed for buying this game and I am VERY thankful I did not buy the expansion pack. That's some money I'm happy I have saved.

I am a die hard star wars fan, I am a die hard battlefield and old battlefront fan but this.... its so casualized to its roots you get bored of this game after few hours. Into the trash it goes.     Fun game. It has breathtaking graphics and is very addicting. There is a problem with DLC and it isn't even close to being as good as previous installments, but a very good game regardless.

    This game's Battlefield, with characters doing Star Wars cosplaying. The engine's same but at another "world"....to spend a lot of time killing imperial soldiers you can try, and would like it. This game's so boring sometimes, but when hero icon appears the emotion begins...

You cannot save your game progress which puts a lot of pressure on your playing through 15 very hard rounds of battle. Especially if you get stuck in a wall (which is easier than you might think). There no way out but suicide which sucks hard when the game is this tight and every life matters.

    I had looked forward to trying out different vehicles but now I just avoid them. The most fun is the speed bikes on Endor but you only get one (yes one!) training mission with them. They could have been a whole game within a game if players could have raced against each other.

    The aim on walkers is completely off meaning you have to fire well above your target to hit it. Same with other vehicles and ground based guns. The x-wings are not fun to fly or dog fight in and targeting anything on the ground is impossible without crashing.

    Of course not all is bad. There are some great things in this game but it does not matter how great and cool Luke Skywalker is when the empire has these lame Jumping StormTroopers with automatic shields and flying kits. Worse are the invisible Shadow troopers. Now because of realism i'm sure, my gun overheats quickly - fair enough - but at the same time Shadow Troopers take 5-10 shots to the face at close range before dying which means you have to hold the trigger down. Very disappointing that im subject to realism but the empire is not!

    But what I really miss is a campaign with lots of iconic scenery that you can play through in your own while enjoying the whole atmosphere and vibe of say Hoth.

    Last but not least. The game is ridiculous expensive in itself and with more expansions to come EA is asking for even more money later. Had it been worth it I might even have considered.

Offline options are limited to premade "missions" that all feel the same and don't offer much replayability, although they do provide a good opportunity to sort of "preview" each weapon in the game to see which one suits you best once you unlock it. The multiplayer is entertaining if you can manage to get put into a game with balanced teams and good ping; Battlefront doesn't let you choose servers, and even if you leave a game due to poor connection or imbalance, it will frequently put you into the same server upon searching over and over again. Starting weapons completely suck compared to higher-level monsters such as the EE-3 or DL-44, the latter of which you can conveniently unlock if you pay for it (though it has received a nerf since it's starting overpoweredness, it is still quite powerful). Luckily, the first two guns you unlock, the DLT-19 and DH-17, are both very powerful weapons in their own right. The delay on unlocking many game-changing cards makes the lower levels feel like you're a serious underdog, and can be satisfying if you outwit and outperform all those level 50 Shadow Troopers and Twi'leks with their fancy gear.

    Overall, if all you're looking for is a Star Wars simulator with great graphics, wait for this to go on sale. Personally, I'd say this game is worth around $15 to $20. The $60 asking price is like someone selling you a can of your favorite drink for $60 because it has a fancy can cover.     EA Battlefront is quite simply COD with lasers. There is never no coordination between team members, random deaths occur literally moments from being spawned into a map whether it be from a random grenade or air-strafing run, poor map design with people being spawned killed and no balance between the rebels and the empire.

    There is no single player to speak of, I will not be including Battlefront's "Missions, Tutorials and Horde modes' because they are not even considered value. On PC unless you sign up for "walker assault" you will not be able to join any game because there is NO ONE playing them. There are NET code issues which is keeping true to the usual EA server's which means unless your directly hooked into your modem your going to experience lag and disconnections to the servers.

    The weapons are pathetic as well as its progression system. Lasers are inaccurate and impossible to predict. The better weapons in the game are locked behind a leveling wall which means new players are going to be in for a rough time for the first 8 hours or so unless they of course quit by then. The card slots where equipment and perks is completely idiotic, 9/10 of them once again are obtained through useless grinding of levels and even then must obtain credits in order to purchase them.

    There is no balance within the game regarding the factions. Rebels get NO ground vehicles apart from a speeder on endor, the empire get a ATST which if is marched into a spawn zone will annihilate everyone within seconds. Aircraft within the game is also unbalanced. The rebels aircraft absolutely incinerate everything ground or air within seconds, the A-Wing is stupidly overpowered with a shield that regenerates faster then wolverine on meth.

    Battlefront is an insult to gaming and once again EA has delivered a very unoriginal and thought out game. Even if Battlefront was more like Battlefield 4 it would of been a better game then what it is now, clearly EA's targeted audience for this was young children sitting on the couch with their consoles because this is not a game for even your average gamer. The DLC and season pass for this game is so uninspiring and predicted as it cost almost the entire price of the base game. Sims 4 is a clear example of where EA games is heading in the next years with its overpriced DLC and outrageous practices and Battlefront is no exception.

    EA games have officially killed the sims series, killed Command and Conquer and now your just killed Star wars battlefront. Good on you ya **** wankers, hope your proud of your accomplishments. Sales of this game means nothing in comparison to how pissed off everyone is right now.    … Expand

    It looks, sounds and acts 100% Star Wars, The MEGA pricey season pass is not as great though. This is the closest you will get to being a Stormtrooper or a Rebel Scum!

    In my opinion, this game needs another year or two of development, maybe when Episode 8 releases it'll be ready for primetime...? Standard battlefield games bring more to the table at release than this pile of garbage. Buy it, play for a few hours then request your refund, that's about all it's worth.

    Battlefront has a very shallow progression system. After a few hours of play all the weapons are unlocked and they have no upgrades. After a few more hours all the perks and powers are unlocked with the important ones upgraded to tier 2 which is maxed out. After that the only thing to earn experience and credits for is cosmetic changes. And now everyone is a shadow trooper or alien.

    The are 11 total primary weapons. At least five there is almost no point in using because another similar weapon is better in all respects.

    The rebels have no land vehicles at all. Imperials have the AT-ST which is easily killed since anyone can carry quick locking homing anti-vehicle weapons. Heck, even the sniper rifle does significant damage to the AT-ST. I do not count speeders since they are only on Endor and its hard to impact the battle when you spend most of the time avoiding obstacles.

    There is effectively no matchmaking system. I have seen far more one-sided fights than close finishes.

    Air vehicles sometimes make a rare contribution to the fight, but often times they just fly around the battlefield avoiding those homing missiles or fighting each other.

    The game types are just pathetic. There are a bunch of modes that almost no one plays, like capture the droid/flag or control points. The only new gameplay type is Walker Assault. Imperials have to protect an AT-AT, rebels kill it. That is the only new innovative mode.

    I keep trying to play this game, but I can only do an hour or so before I want to play something else.    … Expand

Konzeptuell nicht durchdacht, wenig Auswahl und selbst das arcadige Spieldesign wurde verfehlt, Man hat kein Interesse das Spiel länger als wenige Stunden zu spielen. Instant-tode, bugs und langweilge Modes ergeben insgesamt eine furchtbare Umsetzung. Schade EA / DICE

    My experience so far was playing the Beta, being bored after 3-4 hours. Actually thinking they will add severel things at launch, and 20 hours after launch getting refunds.

    Instead of making Space battles or even the fact that whole two factions are missing their work power
    focused on the Diarama Mode or the very boring survival Coop Mode. (With an god awful AI. Try standing on an AT-ST and your are safe.)

    I cant belive there are people defending this garbage of a Game. Out there are hundreds of way better Games for less. And that EA STILL hasnt learned from Games like NFS, Battlefield or Titanfall (yeah still exists) just shows us that they really dont care and just throw one dissapointing Game after another at us.
    And people still pre-order and buy that stuff.

    Would be better if you could find a match. My usual routine is try one of the interesting game modes, try find a game for about 20 minutes, give up and play Blast, get bored after 15 minutes. Not enough stuff to unlock. Looks great but these days I'd rather play a game made of pixel art that has good reliable gameplay. So Battlefront gets 1 star.

    Why? You can't find a game. The matching system is not subpar, its horrendous, inefficient. Its just unacceptable such a system on a game that relies so much on online matches. There is no server browser, and we PC players are stuck to a console-like auto matching that not only takes away our freedom but is also further hindered by the excessive minimum player number requirements for each map. So if you are ever matched, you'll have to wait forever because the game can't allow players to play a 12 player max map with 6 players, or even put bots so players can wait playing the actual game.

    Private matches have been added recently, but you don't earn points from them. Great, useless for those who are still leveling and getting new stuff.

    Server browser seems to be forbidden by EA for some odd reason.

    Game is also overpriced, and price doesn't justify the content AT ALL. Overall gameplay meta is oversimplified. Makes the game "cod-like", gun and run. Yes the game does offer strategic moments, but those are fews and in-between all the mindless running and gunning.

    Such a waste dev rights were given to EA. I'm sure Devs themselves worked hard, but the publisher screwed up all the potential. To be honest, If they remade battlefront 2 with updated online, I'd be way happier.    … Expand

    Original review:

    Being a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy so I can say that I think this game is a true Star Wars experience!

    I have played 5 hour in the beta and had fun but it was too repetitive on the same map and game mode after a while so I waited the final release to judge... now I have played 7 hour straight since the release.

    The pros:

    +The visual and the audio is the best I have seen in a multiplayer FPS and the performance is OK(50-60fps) on high settings with my AMD FX 8350 and R9 280 (and Xonar DSX ,5.1 speaker set) setup.

    +Shooting with a blaster is very satisfying , the vehicle play is fun and the card system is interesting.

    +Playing with a hero is EPIC! or Spawning as the Emperor's Bodyguard is a blast :)

    +Map Design

    +Fighter Squadron Game mode!

    This game mode is like a different game where you fight air battles on a planet surface with X-wing, Tie Fighter, A-Wing, and Tie Interceptor beside the two hero ships (Boba Fett and Han Solo). It would be perfect and Epic if there would be space battles with Capital Ships take part in and not just as visual background with more type of ships like B-wing, Tie Bomber etc. And 20v20 instead of 10v10 with bots. I hope and wish that they will improve this game mode because this game mode has a huge potential to be much better.

    The Cons:

    - Lack of "meaningful" customisation. 90% of this are different heads with different hair styles and there are only a few(2 on empire side) different model at lvl40,50.

    I hate to see a stormtrooper without a helmet....... so unrealistic and it destroys the immersion....

    -There is no weapon customisation like in other Battlefield games. ( maybe this is due to the lore)

    -The lack of the tools and map design(map with markers, party chat,etc.) to make teamplay possible with the "random" spawn locations.

    There are no squads nor tools to coordinate what to do where to go (ofc the objectives/point of interest are less than before in other battlefield titles) but at least a 4 men squad play would have been nice instead of this buddy system limited to 2 player. Everyone is like headless chickens running around the battlefield on their own. (Sometimes it feels like playing against bots spawning randomly everywhere)

    - Its not a big minus but the consumable vehicle tokens .... (I see that I think they have tried to designed the battle like it was in progression already when we jump in)

    -"Over the top" casual friendly focused on solo experience...

    I have no problem with casual games but I feel the game suffers from that everything is so streamlined that the gameplay became very flat without much depth. Maybe Dice didn't want to create a game what feels as a reskin of battlefield but instead of new interesting design or innovations to the genre they get rid of everything special about their battlefield series and created a streamline cinematic star wars experience what it becomes repetitive very fast if someone is trying to play this as a battlefield game and not as some casual game 1-2 hour a day (with the vanilla content).

    Not to mention the weapon and grenade cards with cooldown... at least the grenades should be limited or have a lot longer cooldown . :/

    -Content.

    I think there should be lot more character customisation option and not just different heads/hairstyles especially for STORM TROOPERS!

    I think the four different map type is not enough to justify the full AAA++ price tag and I am afraid that the game is planned to be built for expansion so thats why they cut out things. So I guess we will see the cool customisation options added for extra in hand with the different maps and maybe game modes. If you like to play just 1-2 game mode than you are stuck with the same few map. I hope that there is a lot of cool things in Dice's pockets hidden (because of "financial" reasons forced by EA) and there will be much more depth when they will finally pull these things out and add it to the game as expansions that supposed to be in he base game in the first place. It would be disusting to see the same game sold as battlefront 2 , 3, 4 for full price with some new feature added when this game could be much more. All in all I think the game is great if you plan to play it casually and its obviously not meant to be played HC but we will have to pay a lot of money for all the DLC and wait a year if we want to get the "full game".    … Expand

    Multiplayer is a complete mess. More often than not I quit because finding a match in Australia is almost impossible. What a waste of money on my part, and a wasted opportunity for EA and DICE. In one word it's PATHETIC.

    What? THAT'S IT!? Batlefront 2 had space battles and the Clone Wars and oh yeah, a single player mode. This game just reaks of EA. I knew this game was going to be bad, so I'm not really that surprised.

    But credits due were credits due. The graphics are great. I will admit that... but oh wait, graphics don't matter to me. No pity points from me!

    the Matchmaking is horrible , the game has little content and the price is the same whether large securities with much higher amount of content, after a while it becomes boring .

    10. Die Server kacken regelmäßig ab
    11. Der Zielschuss sollte entfernt werden da er einfach nur nervt
    12. Droiden und Infanteriegeschütze sind stark
    13. Sniper die dich vom anderen Ende der Map töten und auf dem Monitor nur zwei Pixel groß sind
    14. Wenn man beim Training die Mission macht wo man die AT-AT´s mit T-47 Luftspeedern ausschalten soll und diese im ko-op spielt treten jede menge Bugs auf wie dass man ineinander spawnt oder wenn man gleichzeitig ein AT-AT mit Kabeln umfliegt und der eine ihn zu Fall bringt stirbt der zweite der noch um ihn rumfliegt automatisch
    15. Die Hitboxen von "Flugzeugen" sind nicht nachvollziehbar wenn man nah über dem Boden fliegt zerschmettert man obwohl man noch 10m hoch über dem Boden ist
    16. Rebellen sind auf den Endormaps viel zu gut getarnt während die Stormtooper als Schneemänner rumlaufen
    17. Zu wenige Maps
    18. Keine Weltraumschlachten
    19. Der Imperator sollte gegen normale Truppen stärker gemacht werden
    20. Die Ehrengarde von Leia ist zu stark und sollte der von Palpatin angepasst werden bzw. währe es noch besser wenn Palpatin die roten Wächter aus dem Senat hätte
    21. Die Blendgranaten sind gegen Helden zu op, Helden sollten nur kürzer geblendet werden

    First of all this is a game for star wars fans, and it capture the feel of the movies really well.
    When we come to game play it is not bad at all. The controls are good but some people say that it is too simple, but for me as a casual fps player I find them pretty satisfying.
    But the game BIG FAIL is the lack of SINGLE PLAYER mode which is really important for a star wars game.

    Star Wars Battlefront looks and sounds great, and with Battlefield-class gameplay could have ruled the multiplayer galaxy. Unfortunately, at best OK-level, Battlefront-class gameplay is much too shallow to last long. And this is THE one license, which really needs a single player campaign. [Dec 2015]
