This game is easily the worst designed game I have ever played. I can't believe this was ever sold for $60. EA, please commit liquidation.

I remember when I played Battlefront on PS2. It was beautiful, cool and I could have fun with everything offline.

It has no campaign, history or anything else. EA Games wanted to take money from players with DLCs, and today they cannot be played offline. Unfortunately the game is full of cheaters, they rule EA. If you want

Those who bought can no longer use the product.
I'm just happy that Disney didn't leave the exclusivity of Star Wars to EA anymore.

Star wars Battlefront is really boring game made by trash company. I want my 5euro and hours of waiting back!

Very boring game. Good visuals, good sounds, very boring gameplay. Worthless experience, I've played free indie games which are a lot more engaging than this.

Not to mention the jetpack which allow players on top of the map with unlimited sniper shots. There is a bug since launch where you wont get a partner even when teams are full. This gives you a huge disadvantage from loss of points and losing a spawn point. The maps are just chokepoint after chokepoint . Hero battles are trash and clumsy. There are not that many modes and people only play walker assault on same 4-6 map rotation. The vehicles are just cards found around the map with no team vehicles nor team communication.Save your time, even if the game is free do not play it, you will just get mad after seeing this game was released for $60 Expand

Game looks nice, but it doesn't have a lot of content. After a while it gets boring. Spaceship wars are only in DLCs. + Now the game is dead, there is only few players.

its really boring after 20 hours there is no story mode. it's only multiplayer but you know what? there is not that much map and game mode in a "multiplayer only" game. congrats ea.

Stunning graphics, empty shooter, boring gameplay.
Either that game was rushed or someone needs to be fired. I'm astonished by how empty Battlefront is. I bought it hoping for a successor to the original Battlefront serie, needless to say I was disappointed.

Aburrido, muy repetitivo, y no puede ser que un juego de Star Wars no tenga historia.

The game runs great and is generally a really fun game despite it's surprising lack of game modes, maps, character customization and uniqueness. However, the game has died and no longer has the player base to actually join a 40 man match.

I'm also ashamed that I bought this Star Wars game back in 2015 when it came out and I last played it in June of last year, also it's missing a single-player campaign giving us at least 10 hours worth. I wish EA/DICE would go back to this Star Wars and give it a single-player campaign.

Until then never buying EA games again.

Disgusting piece of **** pay2win game. Lootboxes everywhere. Seriously if this is where the gaming industry is heading then i want no part in it anymore. It appears that only Indie developers are creating games without pay2win microtransactions. Now the big game companies are even implementing microtransactions in buy-to-play and singleplayer games...

OK the premise looked fantastic. Who wouldn't want to be "in" the movies with a game like this. Unfortunately, this game doesn't have the story the movies tell, so you're left with the gameplay. Unfortunately, the gameplay is weak and does get boring fast. After a couple of tutorials - many which are very boring - you very quickly realise the weakness of this game. After a couple of tutorials - many which are very boring - you very quickly realise the weakness of this game. While I find the FPS bits OK, the vehicle handling is terrible - scooters, X-wings, etc. handle in a very imprecise way, leaving very much to be desired. I played it for over an hour and already found myself quite bored. I think it's tried to be everything to everyone and end up being not very good at everything. Overall, I think there's not enough "weight" to either the story or the gameplay. It's OK and relatively fun in small doses, but didn't hold my attention long, and made me long for more "weighty" FPS such as Far Cry 3 or 4. And of course, single player is probably not the best reason to buy this game anyway. Expand

The only thing this game has going for it is the graphics.

Looks stunning and plays smoothly, but it kind of makes me feel like I'm playing the FPS version of a GTA game that only has two roads.

pros: Star Wars setting, graphics, sound
cons: lack of content, very bad game design, broken core game mechanics (worst team balancing ever), casual gameplay, pc platform full of hackers

This game is mainly for fans of star wars, they just appreciate it.
The planets look realistic, and insanely beautiful, music is amazing. you feel like in the movie!
But the atmosphere is the only good. laser guns shoot very strange and you can't kill more than two, and even one kill is hard. You'll die often even if you are good at playing shooters. I games mode, heroes vs villains.

I games mode, heroes vs villains. This mode is fun! I love to play for Darth Vader, he's insanely cool and dangerous, I feel all-powerful Sith. The basic modes I did not like, I was not nice to play them. Moreover, here again all the pumping, and to get to the good weapons need a lot of time.
Company is not! This is the main disadvantage. In the game star wars needs to be company. But we have only training. And there are videos that are short but beautiful. I would like a company with the same beautiful rollers, but it is not. There are only boring multiplayer.
The game looks beautiful, but empty (like my ex bf).

This is a great game if you want to feel like being in a Star Wars movie (only one of the original movies because apparently everyone's in denial). It looks amazing, sound is amazing....and that's it.
If you're looking for a game, this isn't it. Gets boring after a few min. I bought this on sale and I still can't see the value in paying $10 for this game apart from the Star Wars royalties.

It gets a one because its absolutely gorgeous and the audio is spot on. It loses the other nine because the game sucks.

Within an hour its repetitive and boring. Anyone remember that old Star Trek Voyager FPS game that ran on the Unreal engine? Yea, it feels like that. This isn't an AAA title, and it's definitely not worth the insane price EA is asking for it. My advice? Play

DICE: I knew that EA was going to destroy you. The way they destroyed Westwood and countless others. Sorry to see you go.

I bought it for 6 buck on the christmass sale. The game looks amazing and sounds amazing but it is as deep as a pond of water. You'll be playing the same game mode over and over again on a few maps that looks great but underneat are all the same. You will be unlocking weapons that all feel like a skin of a the same weapon (they are all basically the same). There are no classes, becauseI bought it for 6 buck on the christmass sale. So, after the last dlc came out I completely regret pre-ordering the game and purchasing the season pass for the full price. Because Rogue one dlc is a copy paste from the previous dlc.

This game was made with a minimum of effort by EA, the developers didn't have to create this "good looking" empty aberration from a scratch, they already had its predecessors and they should keep some essential mechanisms like the use of ships and vehicles, the "classes" selection, the planets system and not the "pick up", the "star cards" and like 8 planets ****
And the worst is that EA even didn’t wait a year to say (hey we know we made mistakes with the actual BATTLEFRONT so the next year BATTLEFRONT 2 will have all the things that the 1 didn't have, so **** you!!, you will have to pay us a complete extra game with all the **** dlc so you can almost enjoy the complete Star Wars "experience", because being honest we are going to release a BATTLEFRONT 3 with all the things that the 1 and the 2 didn't had)
There are no pros and cons for me, only that this game sucks.
Don’t buy the next "Battlefront" so we can send a message to EA and their "brilliant ideas".

Unfortunately, that wears off, and what you have left is gameplay that feels more akin to a phone app. Heroes vs Villains was the only mode I genuinely enjoyed, because it felt like it had some depth to it, a sort of rock paper scissors style, if you will. DLC has cut its already small player base in half by making its desperately needed content only available to people who paid out the ass for this crap.

All EA had to do was take the greatly loved concepts of the earlier Battlefronts and slap their beautiful atmosphere on top of it, and I guarantee this review I'm writing would've been much, much higher.

A piece of junk. Hackers are abundant. Same netcode issues as Battlefield 4. Same silly bugs as Battlefield 4 that never seem to be fixed. Real content is subsituted with starcards and pickups, most of which are useless.

Very bad dlc selling platform. If you want to win you need dlc, want to win people with dlc? get never dlc. p2w game sold for 60$ and has a 50$ p2w pass. As it has no singleplayer it's unplayable without dlc.

Star Wars Battlefront looks and sounds great, and with Battlefield-class gameplay could have ruled the multiplayer galaxy. Unfortunately, at best OK-level, Battlefront-class gameplay is much too shallow to last long. And this is THE one license, which really needs a single player campaign. [Dec 2015]
