    there is no the same music in sonic 3, made by michael jackson himself, instead of this the prototype versions (music) are used, and they sound generally good, but not in sonic origins. They seem to have been terribly compressed (maximum compression and terribly compressed sound. Listen to the original version of the prototypes - sorry for such a paradox.

    Die beste Sonic Collection, dies bis jetzt auf dem Markt gibt. Man hat 4 überarbeitete Klassiker mit Widescreen, höherer Framerate, keinen Leben und Bonus Zeug (wie Hidden Palace in Sonic 2), einen Story Mode mit wunderschönen Cutscenes, ein Museum und einem Missionsmodus mit spaßigen Missionen. Die einzigen Negativpunkte sind die auagetauschten Musikstücke in Sonic 3&Knuckles, die nichtDie beste Sonic Collection, dies bis jetzt auf dem Markt gibt. Man hat 4 überarbeitete Klassiker mit Widescreen, höherer Framerate, keinen Leben und Bonus Zeug (wie Hidden Palace in Sonic 2), einen Story Mode mit wunderschönen Cutscenes, ein Museum und einem Missionsmodus mit spaßigen Missionen.     Fantastic collection of the four classic games that were remade in the retro engine. Recommended for those new to sonic or those who are in the mood for some old school fun. However, the DLC isn’t really worth it and really should’ve been included within the base game.     This game is the definition of a utter cashgrab, nothing has changed besides the widescreen support and the added 3d islands in the menu, not worth a single penny.

Took the versions of the games Created by developer Christian Whitehead and didn't credit him but that maybe for the best.     This is the best collection of 4 games.The remasters are very good and the music is the best.Especially the classic mode because you can play the old games of 1991 on the latest platforms and the cutscenes are really good all the animations all legendery and the fit perfect with the games

    The PC version of Sonic Origins is the exactly same of the PS5 one don't worry, and if you wabt to play this with a controller like the good old days don't worry you can plug a Xbox one.
    Sonic Origins is a great collection of great games of the 90' now rebuilded with the retroengine and it looks smooth, there also tones of extras in the game like the Anniversary mode, museum, boos rush and more

    Expensive, as there isn't much here to justify the price. As someone who played that in 90s, I would like to see save states or/and rewind possibility to make it more casual playthrough, to just remember the story and the levels.

    The developers brought so much nice stuff into this game like the gallery, mirror mode, and missions. But what made me so sad are the graphics. Why is it looking so poorly? I expected the pixel art to be crisp, but it isn't, and it's ugly. It's not worth 40$ at all, but because of the graphics, I won't rebuy this even for a lower price.     Poorly optimized, buggy as hell and cost almost $50 just for 4 Mega Drive & Mega CD Games and the most stupid & greedy DLCs ever, just stay away from it and play way better collections like Sonic Jam or Sonic Mega Collection Plus, or the Sonic 1 & 2 Decompilations or even play these games emulated, almost every option to replay these games is way better than this overpriced piece of crap.

    Jugabilidad:
    Los juegos que contiene esta recopilación no son creados desde cero, sino que son hechos basándonos en las versiones de Christian Whitehead, por eso al no ser creados desde cero, me esperaba más contenido del que hay. Más personajes y algún nuevo nivel habría sido un excelente añadido. Pero hay algo importante que debes saber, la recopilación ni se molesta en arreglar los bugs que habían en los juegos originales (Basicamente todo es un control c y control v)

    Modos de juego:
    Cada una de las 4 entregas contiene los siguientes modos: Modo aniversario (Jugar en panorámica, sin vidas y con nuevos movimientos), Modo clásico (Como se veía en Megadrive), Desafío total (Luchar con todos los jefes del juego) y Modo espejo (Hacer el nivel, pero al revés) Luego tenemos las misiones y el museo, las misiones sirven para desbloquear arte conceptual del museo mediante monedas y he de decir que las misiones son muy interesantes y te ponen un gran reto. Un problema que he notado es que si tu quieres jugar el modo aniversario con vidas por ejemplo, no se puede personalizar las opciones o juegas con todo lo que hay en el modo o no lo juegas.

    Diseño:
    Definitivamente, han hecho genial las animaciones de intro y outro de cada juego y no solamente eso, el diseño en general del juego está muy bien. Me ha gustado el detalle de haber puesto las islas de cada juego en el menú y también el arte que te encuentras en el museo es muy interesante. (Luego me di cuenta de que las animaciones de las islas son otra vez control c y control v de Sonic Generations y por eso no sale ni amy ni knuckles)

    Aquí está mi mayor problema con esta recopilación, este juego vale 40 € y opino que es demasiado caro para juegos que seguramente si eres gamer, habrás jugado alguna vez, (los 4 juegos valían antes 5 € por separado) además Sega ya ha hecho demasiadas recopilaciones de estos juegos (Siendo más de 4 recopilaciones) Pero sin duda lo que menos me ha gustado han sido los absurdos dlc's que han creado: "Paquete premium fun paga 4 euros más para tener misiones difíciles, animaciones extras y el reproductor de audio para escuchar canciones remasterizadas que perfectamente puedes buscarlas en YouTube" "Paquete Classic Music paga otros 4 euros más para escuchar más música remasterizada" Siento que son cosas que deberían haber estado desde el principio en el juego base, de hecho si hubiera estado en el juego original, quizás sí que me parecería justo los 40 €.

    Es triste, pero siento que esta recopilación no está hecha para los fans, a pesar de ser un juego hecho para el 30 aniversario de Sonic, siento que es una forma rápida para que Sega gane dinero y esto se demuestra con los dlc's, el recorte de contenido, el intentar vender "nostalgia", el hecho de que ya había muchas recopilaciones de estos juegos, el venderlo sin terminar y también añadir el denuvo pues... ¿por la cara?.

    No recomiendo este juego para ningún publico, incluso si nunca has jugado a ninguno de los 4 juegos que hay (que lo dudo) tampoco te lo recomiendo porque hay mejores opciones en el mercado y por las razones mencionadas anteriormente.    … Expand

    una absoluta verguenza de recopilacion. No aporta nada, tiene un precio abusivo para lo que contiene, y encima solo hay edicion virtual, SEGA es un asco de compañía y no merece vuestro dinero.

If you want to unlock all the extra content, debug a ton of coins and unlock it. If you want to stop the motion blur, there's a mod for that. If you want to take the spindash out of Sonic 1, there's a cheat for that.

    Sonic fans are way too sensitive and entitled. If you don't like something in this version, go play the version that doesn't have those things. I get Sega delisted some of the other versions, but there are still plenty of options available to you between the secondary market and unofficial fan projects.

    This game gets more hate than it deserves. The animations and added content is all great, and the glitches really aren't a big deal. The roll locking being in sonic 1 and 2 is annoying, but i can overlook it, and sonic CD and 3K are as amazing as ever. Though, locking island tours and stuff behind a digital deluxe is kind of dumb but, overall, its a great collection, and it gets too much hate

    I actually like this game because it basically let me be able to play Sonic 3 & Knuckles in widescreen outside of my home without needing to haul a laptop and boot up Sonic 3 AIR. I know that Origins is not perfect in a lot of ways, but it gets the job done and I’m sure Origins Plus will fix most of the issues people have with the game. And to those who are upset about the Sonic 3 musicI actually like this game because it basically let me be able to play Sonic 3 & Knuckles in widescreen outside of my home without needing to haul a laptop and boot up Sonic 3 AIR. I know that Origins is not perfect in a lot of ways, but it gets the job done and I’m sure Origins Plus will fix most of the issues people have with the game. And to those who are upset about the Sonic 3 music fiasco, I am upset that Sega didn’t just use the tracks from the November 1993 Prototype, but it was a sacrifice they had to make to even get the game rereleased.     A nice offer for fans, whether they are fans from the very beginning or young newcomers who have gotten to know the blue-haired hedgehog through recent Hollywood films. The price tag of around forty euros is hefty, but you get four excellent retro games in return.

    Although it is a nice homage to the first adventures of the hedgehog, Sonic Origins could have deserved a better finish. Overall, this compilation is correct, but the options offered are not enough to make up for certain shortcomings. Despite a really successful dressing with its cartoons and colorful interface, SEGA's game constantly oscillates between good and bad. We're having a good time, but for Sonic's 30th anniversary, we were right to expect more games and surprises. Especially at a price of forty euros.

    Sonic Origins is an ideal package for newer fans to dive into to learn more about the franchise’s beginnings. Sadly, a myriad of odd design choices and bizarre technical hiccups personally brought down this package more than a few notches. Of course, I could have been more vexed by these issues than the average fan, so I may be an outlier. Still, if you’re a dedicated classic Sonic fan, you may want to purchase this package during a sale or investigate whether the console versions fare any better.
