    Undoubtedly the best 3D Sonic game, the exploration, the battles, the soundtrack, everything is of a high level and although the game has visible flaws such as pop-in, this does not make it a mediocrity as some want to sell means (at least they are few), in short, this is the way.

    Besides the cyberspace level controls being slippery as hell this was everything I've been wanting In a sonic game. Story was taken seriously, music was good (as always) and just felt fun running as sonic. I did feel like after ares island the game started to shift a bit in the quality of the level design but this is a solid foundation sonic team can definitely build upon.

    Sega has set a great foundation for what we need in a sonic game, I enjoyed every minute of it not including the final boss which ruined the hype build up from the previous bosses, but i had an overall great experience.

    The way the characters interacted with each other was my personal highlight as it was such a fresh start from the last decade on how they were written, THIS is Sonic's true world. How the world has been portrayed has left me amazed with all the previous games referenced to make it all an official cannon and not a cheesy reference like previous games have done. (even a Sonic Boom reference was mentioned which caught me by surprise, makes me wonder what they will do with that in the next game)

    Only problem with the game was the cyberspace control, and i was going to mention the reuse of previous games for level design but it was KINDA justified from the last island where sage basically mentions that, so I felt like I couldn't really complain as some stages where original, just wish there was more of them.

    But I will just say they better see these user scores over the critics because WE know what we want in a sonic game WE are the ones who know sonic better than anyone else so WE know what makes sonic good.

    i thoroughly enjoyd this game from start to finish, everything fom the gameplay, music, dialogue and story is all around amazing. The game is very unpolished but not in a bad way this game sets a good foundation for future titles in the series with everything that can be improved on, this game is everything i wanted and sonic needed to be to be recognized and respected again as a gamingi thoroughly enjoyd this game from start to finish, everything fom the gameplay, music, dialogue and story is all around amazing.     Um jogo incrível, gráficos estão muito bonitos, a história está ótima e a gameplay na parte aberta do jogo é perfeita.

    O único problema que eu percebi é que dentro dos níveis mais lineares os controles ficam um pouco piores, mas nada que estrague a experiência

    Everything that the Sonic Franchise needed, besides a few technical hiccups and the final boss throwing me for a loop this game is everything that sonic needed in terms of gameplay, story, and direction.

    This Game is the best 3d sonic game in my opinion.The "open zones" are a great new addition to the sonic formula and the story is fun. The best parts of the game is the bosses and the soundtrack. The biggest problem with this game is the pop-in, but its not enough to deter the enjoyment of this game.

    The game is definitely the best 3d Sonic game, even better than Unleashed. The story gets incredibly good after the third island, the cyberspace levels are ok (even if they reused some level design from previous games), the bosses are amazing, and it's fun to dick around as sonic in the open world.
    the only problem is that there is a pinball minigame in the third world.

It keeps pulling me in with the fact that there are huge open areas with really fun platforming to just do as you wish. Say you find a really cool course. You can just redo it over and over again, improving your time on it.

    I've noticed that Chaos island has far more 2d style sections to pay around with. It gives a sort of theme to the island which is fun. I would have to say that Aeres island is my favorite just because of the sprawling open areas you can run around in and all of the fun nooks you can find your self in.

    The Titan fights were so **** epic holy **** Each one felt unique in how you fight and counter their specific gimmick. My favorite would probably be the Wyvern. That particular fight felt very Super Sonic to me.

    The Cyberspace stages are actually pretty fun The ones I seemed to enjoy the most were those based more on the Sonic Adventure 2 layouts. I honestly think that the way Sonic controls in this game lends itself well to the more Adventure style games. I hope to see more of that in the future.

    My biggest nitpicks would have to be the pop in and the ring/speed upgrade system. The pop in can be annoying when trying to find the right set of obstacles that will take you to the memory token you're trying to get. The ring/speed upgrade system is **** slow, tedious, and took way too much time to fully level up. This needs to change badly and is so much simpler to fix than pop in.

    Overall I think I'll be playing this game for an incredibly long time since this is such a great game to just play for flow state, similar to Marvel's Spider-Man. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys fun platforming and a somber story.    … Expand

It is a game that combines the fast pace movement of the boost gameplay with the full control of sonic the adventure games used to have. Although this game has a few points of jank and the infamous, level 3-5 (avoid this level if you can), it is definitely an amazing game that is worth a lot of the praise it gets.Sonic frontiers is a game that, I, as a sonic fan have wanted for years.     Very enjoyable! Although it's not perfect, mainly issues with things such as pacing near the end, pop in, and accidental clipping (mainly in boss fights), It was really enjoyable. The open world was really fun to run around in and just mess around. The characters were very well written. The music was incredible! I haven't enjoyed a 3D sonic game this much in a long time and I'm lookingVery enjoyable! The movement on the ground felt good to play with, but the jumping slowed momentum almost completely and turning while jumping wasn't as pinpoint as I'd like. Since they were such a back seat part of this game it wasn't a hugely negative impact on the whole experience though.
    Overall, I would recommend this to any Sonic fan, and really anyone who is even a little interested in Sonic.    … Expand

Thankfully, Sonic Team didn't make a joke for the 100th time, this game is spectacular, this is a step in the right direction for sonic, for the story, gameplay, and especially music. Sonic has a new "boost" mechanic that is in my opinion better than the previous boost games.

    Notice Sonic’s voice is deeper. If you don’t like it, think of it this way: Sonic has grown and matured. You can still hear his    Story is great, combat and movement is awesome.     Other than that, you may encounter some bugs but thats simply unavoidable. NOT GAME BREAKING. Go from point A to B the way you are supposed to and don’t try anything freaky that would bug you. The bugs in this game are mostly user initiated, not from the game itself.    … Expand

    It has it's flaws, it's a bit janky at times but this formula is just what Sonic team needed, if they expand upon it then we'll get a 10/10 game soon.

    My only issue with it is how post-game is handled, you can't go back to fight previous bosses which kind of sucks, the replay value is also not that great on the same save, you'll have to start a new one, but you will have fun on that new one.

Sonic Frontiers Is fantastic it's got its flaws but it's amazing as I avid sonic fan and the lore drops and the story enterally the game play is awesome but not perfect (same for the story) but it's very fun but there is pretty much no momentum in the game it doesn't really matter until you go to Cyber Space which is the worst part of the game the Cyber Space levels are awful and it uses old level design it's one of the reason it's a nine not a ten along with other nit pics and stuff that only bothers me and me only in conclusion the game is not perfect but it's great it has its flaws but that's what sequels are for and to critics shut up the game is awesome if you're thinking about buying it do it RIGHT NOW!!!

Sonic Frontiers is a new enjoyable experience for Sonic I think the game is really fun it has its flaws like every game like Cyrus face or the final two islands I overall things on a picture is good I wish the starter space levels were a bit better of a better FedEx a nd you will love to be nine and new assets but they're not obviously like playing the phone with you basically same thing as crooners Island but overall it was good.… Expand

Obviously, the pop-in is bad but I rarely found it to be an issue in my play-through. There are some glitches which is to almost be expected from any new game coming out at this point. The only two major complaints I have are about the cyberspace levels controlling terribly and the 2D segments in an open-zone 3D environment that awkwardly transition from 2D to 3D with no way to go back the way you came. The only cyberspace levels I liked were the ones that were entirely 3D, but most of them aren't designed with how sonic controls in this game in mind and instead just byte sized versions of level layouts from the games they came from with only 4 level themes throughout the entire game that are specifically nostalgia pandering which is one of the things I feel like keeps holding every new mainline release back regardless of how much they innovate like they did in this game. Also the final boss could've been better.… Expand

    This game is absolutely incredible. This game is a 9/10 for me. Maybe even a 10/10 if I can look past its flaws. The game is really good. Ending feels kinda rushed, and the cyberspace controls aren't too great. But I don't care! This game is amazing! 100 percent worth your money!

    The game is great!
    The music is amazing, and the fights and everything about this game made it my favorite sonic game right now but I only give it a 9 because it wasn't giving its very all with sonic’s moves and difficulty.

    The best 3d sonic game in years. The soundtrack is 10/10, some things can be fixed but the game is really enjoyable.

    Sonic's entry into new, for him, gaming paths is overall successful, despite any problems. With a little polish and attention to detail, the next game in the series has the foundations in place to finally look eternal rival Mario in his three-dimensional, bubbly eyes.
