    Song of the Deep doesn’t simply shine in one place more than another because there are so many elements that all come together to make this game truly fantastic.

    If you are thirsty for an interesting Metroidvania game, Song of the Deep is a good choice, which will keep you busy for at least seven to eight hours. It does not fit to the "elite" category, but it is a fair proposal, undoubtedly worth the asking price.

    Enchanting and charming, Song of the Deep is a children’s-fairy-tale-turned-video-game that’s full of wonder and vibrant beauty. The gameplay is both solid and enjoyable, but not without hiccups and hindrances.

    Gameplay and narrative are inextricably intertwined, and ought to reinforce and point toward one another. In Song of the Deep, they feel at odds in a way that’s made even more grating by the loving, attentive eye Insomniac casts on the world it created. These people care about Merryn and her journey, and they do so much to make you care, too. Now they just need to get out of her way.

    I found this game as an awsome 2D exploration/arcade game with great graphics.     PROS: Sea Background + Music + Gadgets and the pregression of how to get them + Option to get of of the submarine + Lots to explore, Cleaver puzzles + etc
