Mar 10, 2019A slick sniping title in name, but one that also encourages creativity, delivers action, and demands adaptation, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is one hell of a ride. Although it has a lackluster story and a handful of minor issues, it’s still an immensely enjoyable separatist kill fest set in the gorgeous open-world landscapes of former Soviet Georgia.

May 21, 2017At its core, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is a solid shooter that stumbles over the sloppy technical adaption and lots of little problems.
-
Jun 5, 2017I really feel sorry for Ghost Warrior 3 - this is the first game in the series that had a potential to finally rival Sniper Elite. Unfortunately, things like weak stealth mechanics, awful story and pointless open world really let it down.
-
May 5, 2017Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 has potential to be a great action game, but its poor design of the open world, drab missions, a lot of technical issues and a lame story tears down the game. You can find here a fun experience, but its far away of the best of genre.

May 3, 2017I was certain I was in for another grueling and frustrating disappointment. I was wrong, incredibly so. Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has clawed its way up from the grave of a series that shouldn't be, and has made itself a decent title. Maybe one that will finally turn things around in future installments.

PC GamerJul 21, 2017Thrives during missions, but suffers when you're exploring its open world and bearing witness to its odd design choices. [Aug 2017, p.80]
-
May 19, 2017A poorly presented shooter with a lousy open word, that fails to focus on his own strengths. Therefore, I can recommend the game only to the hardcore fans of marksmanship.
-
May 19, 2017Less is more. While the sniping core is solid and entertaining (if the AI doesn’t show its ugly side) and the drone enhances the choice of options, there are too many unnecessary ingredients that distract you more than it is helpful. With this “featurism” and technical faults this feels rushed and aimless.
-
LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jul 5, 2017SGW3 is an uncongenial mix of the failed open-world gameplay combined with useful sniping. It can be recommended only to grimly determined snipers. [Issue#275]

Apr 28, 2017Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 can be an enjoyable FPS game, but unfortunately the very good shooting sensations are not enough to ignore all the flaws, AI problems and glitches of the game.

May 1, 2017This is a disappointment for me, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a game that I was truly rooting for this year. I have enjoyed the previous entries in this series and this one had the potential to rise up and make a name for itself among other powerhouse titles. Unfortunately performance issues and a weak story plague what is at its core a good game, built on solid mechanics. I feel that with time this could grow into the game that was originally anticipated, but the question will be whether bad blood is already present. If not this game, then perhaps the next one will take this foundation and truly grow it into a game that I can wholeheartedly support. Until then, go into this one with realistic expectations and enjoy the combat for what it is.

May 5, 2017Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 attempts to push the franchise forward by introducing new mechanics and an open world, but the delivery falls flat. With an underwhelming story and plenty of bugs, the result is a game stuck in mediocrity.

Game World Navigator MagazineJun 5, 2017Historically, Polish taverns offered a dish called bigos: basically, everything that was left on the plates by richer customers went into a cauldron where it boiled or simmered for some time before being served to poorer clients. Similarly, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 was made from leftovers of Far Cry, MGS5, Call of Duty, The Witcher 3 and many other blockbusters. It’s 100% derivative, there are literally no fresh ideas here. [Issue#220, p.56]

May 29, 2017When it works it works pretty darn well. Unfortunately that isn't too often. [Issue#262, p.56]
-
May 23, 2017Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 should have been a better game. Disassembled, it had all the parts needed to give the thrill of the one-shot one-kill calibre that it deserves. The assembled game however, completely misses its target as it comes off as a mismanaged product that fails to deliver on its promises.
-
May 4, 2017Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a mess of a game. It’s a glitchy, ugly, poorly acted, and terribly written game, while clearly wishing it was something else. There are moments of fun to be had, but they’re too far apart to really be worth it, especially when you can just play a game that it’s emulating.
-
May 17, 2017Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a serviceable open-world first person shooter with some great sniping mechanics, yet it's low production values and lack of polish completely ruin what could be a very enjoyable experience.
-
May 24, 2017Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is a mix of disparate game genres that often do not make sense. Atmosphere and action gameplay are not bad, but instead of graceful ballistic dances, it rather shoots its own legs with technical issues, ugly graphics, poor optimization, and a miserable story, which results in a title that has nothing to offer.
