    I really enjoyed Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. I know the MSM didn't think much (they only seem to care about the big titles and no doubt the advertising budgets associated with them). I personally think this game has a lot to offer.

    For one thing its focus is, for the most part, on target (no pun intended). This game knows it a FPS military shooter and sensibly sticks to that formula.    I really enjoyed Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. I know the MSM didn't think much (they only seem to care about the big titles and no doubt the advertising budgets associated with them). I personally think this game has a lot to offer.

    For one thing its focus is, for the most part, on target (no pun intended). This game knows it a FPS military shooter and sensibly sticks to that formula. There's is a little parkour style mountain climbing which to be honest I could have done without but thankfully its no excessive or overdone as it is in games like Titanfall 2.

    The gun play in this game is enjoyable and you are given a variety of weapons ad upgrades to choose from, as the game unfolds. There is some hand holding in this game but thankfully it doesn't smother or confine your actions, as is the case with titles like the newer games in the Far Cry series.

    Cut scenes with bullet time are satisfying as you make a head shot from longer range and its nice to see physics modelling reflecting the respective damage done by lesser and more powerful sniper riles and munitions.

    An added bonus I had not expected was bonus episodes that you can play that let you take on the role of one of the snipers side kicks and his adversary. A generous move on the part of the games developers that offers additional play time.

    On the downside game play can be a little repetitive and I found the "US rules the world stick" a bit hard to stomach, at times. Vehicle handling is horrible with no upgrade options on offer leaving you driving a jeep that behaves like a bus, throughout the game. Why no access to other modes of transport like a helicopter or parachute missions? This would have added an extra dimension to this game.

    In summary, this is for the most part a decent game that puts a lot of bigger budget titles to shame. Its not perfect and there is room for improvement but what it does it does well and better still it leaves you in charge rather than dictating what is to be done and how you are to do it.

    Enjoy open world Call of Duty, where you meet same stupid AI, same bad graphics on high settings, console controls, horrible dialogues and boring cut scenes (which you can skip immediately). Go and kill whole village of innocent people (except invincible kids), because you can and nobody cares. Try out our awesome depleting silencer, which is completely useless after few shots.     First, after 8 hours of playing it, it randomly deleted my savegame despite me exiting the game normally. The fool that I was, I decided to play it again, and this time, after the third mission, the "repair" function just stopped working on the silencer on guns, making the    I really wanted this game to rock, but it's a buggy piece of **** and I wish I hadn't wasted my money on it.

    As for gameplay, the game has a ridiculously long load time and the much-touted "open world" is pointless. It's mostly empty and the only thing you get to do is drive around in your buggy. It's like the devs heard that "open world" is the big thing and threw it in there. Unlike Far Cry, you cannot climb up most hills unless the surfaces have special ledges for you to hang on, which appear only when you press Ctrl near them. Buildings too are a pain to climb. Most can't be climbed.

    Despite the game being called sniper, this isn’t a sniper simulator…
    The words ghost and warrior hint at options… and that’s exactly what you get here
    This is an open world game with a base that you use to buy new weapons you unclock from completing missions or picking up off of enemies, as well as buy ammo and gear and choose your next mission…
    But this open world isn’t vast, it isn’t connected…
    it just exists…
    it’s a world to put missions into and nothing else..
    You have a buggy to drive around, but there are no other vehicles on the road and the ones off road are all locked…
    There are points of interest around the map though if you are into the ubisoft style clean up…
    Or you can stick to the 11 hour campaign
    The campaign is fun to get through, and challenging…
    Its satisfying scoping out the place with your drone, sniping out enemies from a distance and then going in for the objective, or being a ghost, sneaking in, taking enemues out silently while you try not to alert anyone or be caught on camera.. and then theres the warrior option of just going in guns blazing…
    There are mandatory do not get detection sections of the game, but for the most part.. youre free to tackle a mission any way youd like..
    You can even mix your play style up like I did…
    This means youre going to be unlocking perks in all 3 skill trees for sniper ghost and warrior, but if you prefer one play style then that means of course youll be more decked out for that style with the skill tree..
    Missions are what youd expect…
    Get a point on the map to go to and complete the objective.. nothing more..
    And despite the missions structure being the same throughout, the missions all felt unique thanks to the great level design this game has…
    The game felt fresh throughout…
    However the performance of this game brings all of the great parts down…
    For starts the load times…
    Theyre painful…
    Some missions take place on different sections of the map.. and to get to these sectiosn you have to deal with the games initial load screen..
    Which is 4 minutes long, I wish I was kidding, but the load time for this game is longer than this review…
    Its painful…
    The game also froze trying to load in 2 times….
    And the game would freeze and crash mid shot probably 3 or 4 times….
    its just not reliable…
    and its only made worse by again the 4 minute load time to get back into the game and the fact that checkpoints in missions are so awful…
    Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is enjoyable,
    The calculating, the scouting, the turning the dials of your scope to adjust to a targets distance..
    All of this makes the campaign so satisfying to get through…
    But the freezes, the crashes, the load times…
    Theyre going to annoy… so be prepared…

    I one primary mission i can't pass the **** tunnel beacuse the game always crash.
    This is after the 2 hours So i can't refund it on Steam.

    1.. People have complained about framerate issues and slow loading times. This has not been my experience. Could be a hardware thing? Also, I know that PS 4 version may be experiencing this, similar to Just Cause 3 where loading times would take up to 2- 3minutes...     2. This is a mix of Farcry 4, Assassins Creed and Crisis. Better than all IMO. I just really enjoy the Critek Engine for shooters and if you add that with some Open World, RPG-like elements for character leveling up, then it makes for almost a perfect FPS for me.

    3. World so far seems to be diverse enough with characters and enemies to keep me "wowed" and entertained for some time (I've only completed 2 missions). I own Sniper Elite 4 and Ghost Recon Wildlands, but I think GW3 beats them both hands down in terms of fun factor.

    I have played SGW3 for 6 houres. I havan't noticed bugs and and lags. There is a lot of fun with play. Snier mode is more advanced then Snaiper Elite 4. Wepens are more realistic then Sniper Recon. CI Games could work on sound and music. There could be more game mode like multi or more maps but summary game is very good.     Just played 2h PC version. Game is very good. Consoles are not good for that kind of games that why there is so many negatives. I have no problems with this game. Missions are nice and not easy. Fast movement between missions and base place. Best of all... language, bad words make this game a proper game. Few small bugs but nothing serious.     Fantastic and a realistic sniping game IMO, i am loving every minute of this game, each mission keeps getting better and better, also great layout of missions.
    The AI are really aggressive on hard mode which is the sweet spot for me. The weapon sounds are one of the best i have ever heard, really piercing sound with every shot fired.
    The work that has gone into the animation for the    Fantastic and a realistic sniping game IMO, i am loving every minute of this game, each mission keeps getting better and better, also great layout of missions.

    I dont understand low press critical response to this game. Porbably CI have not much money to buy journalists. dont leave that negative opinions stop you to try this one, expecially if you like sniping, infiltration game ecc. there is a lot of stuff here that will make you happy. Not all gold yes, there are some issues but are not so dramatic as someone say. Best CI title ever for me.

    I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews about this game. I have already played around 10 hours and on Act 4, I have to say I enjoyed the game very much most of the times.
    I really have only one issue with the game and it's the auto save feature. The game auto-saves at some really weird places.     Other than that, no issue whatsoever with this fun game. Some reviewers say the characters are dull...come on! Who gives a sh*t! It's a sniper game! Not opera! And one of best I have played. I also bought Sniper elite 4, and I have to say SGW 3 is better. And the ghost play style is also great. I love to do headshot up close with side arm. Close quarter take downs are also very nicely done, like Splinter cell.
    If you like action game with diverse playing style, but mostly sniping and silent takedowns, give this game a try. You will have a great time!    … Expand

    i made it to the third mission before I deleted it.very poor game, I was spoted a mile away up on a cliff camouflaged in a bush with my silenced sniper rifle.and what,s with the driving,totally weird.waste of money.

    Thos game is awesome! City cleraly evolved and trying hard! The gameplay is fun, and sniping feels real! There are a few performance issues, but nothing serious. I highly recomend this game if you are into far cry or sniper elite!

    This might be the right way for C.I Games to make this serie be more thrilling, interesting and better.     Easily one of 2017's most underrated games. I don't think I've seen many games pull off open-world stealth in the way SGW3 does - the sniping is first-rate, the open world isn't the most detailed but is still fun to explore, and the missions are unique and a whole lot of fun, especially with the many ways in which you can tackle them.

    The game in itself is great, even if I could see the story in advance, I find it really engaging. They made the game less Sniper but more Ghost warrior which is a nice take on that with lots of strategy to apply. The only problem, it's the big one that renders the game unplayable correctly sometimes, is what I believe are memory leaks.     very surprised with this game, as the reviews were terrible. ive had loads of fun in my 35 hours. imagine ghost recon wildlands but with a) no annoying sidekicks b) better driving c) a much higher focus on sniping (obviously). i got my moneys worth thats for sure. hopefully some decent dlc will arrive as part of the season pass soon

    I can just say one thing - i like this game. Played 7 missions until now, and if you like slow sniper action they u will definitely like this game. Also they nicely managed the open-world integration. It is not open world like GTA or Witcher, but it is nice addition to the sniping action. I give it a 8.3 / 10, maybe I will later correct the score when i finish the game. But it isI can just say one thing - i like this game. Played 7 missions until now, and if you like slow sniper action they u will definitely like this game. Also they nicely managed the open-world integration. It is not open world like GTA or Witcher, but it is nice addition to the sniping action. I give it a 8.3 / 10, maybe I will later correct the score when i finish the game. Graphics doesn't look that good either compared to games released around the same timeframe. But the funny thing is the cutscenes look ten times worse than game itself, which really makes me scratch my head why they went along withSniper Ghost Warrior 3 has one of the worst pre-rendered cutscenes I've seen in my life, and in fact one of the worst character modeling for a game in its era.     In this game we can quietly kill enemies with a sniper rifle or loudly barge in and kill all of the machine. Sniper gameplay I like, we need to calculate the distance to the target, but if hit in the head, pluchery slowmo when the bullet in slow motion pierces the skull of an enemy. Ballistics in the game are normal. Here, the weapons felt.
    The plot of the game is. Developers sometimes even try to present a drama or reveal the relationship of the protagonist and his girlfriend. But the game has no really interesting characters, and silently kill enemies from a sniper rifle or noisy machine can be in the same Far Cry. GHOST WARRIOR 3 loses creature Ubisof in all respects, and I just don't see the point to play GHOST WARRIOR 3, if you have Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4. Even if you played these games, that GHOST WARRIOR 3 will be a poor substitute - you will quickly get bored. If you want to buy up to the 75% discount, it is not longer necessary.
    In addition to ballistics and sniper rifles I liked the animation. When the hero karapetsas, realistic touches, klogd edit in the car includes the ignition key and so on. The game has such nice things, but it's boring and not optimized.    … Expand

The "CryEngine" has always been a resource hog but this game is using 10Gb+ of physical ram and will continue to use more if I add more sticks. On-top of the horrible frame rates which admittedly could be my GPU's even with two Geforce 650TiB im getting under 25fps with everything set to low and resolution atWhile not as hyped as a Ubisoft Product this game comes with just as many bugs. On-top of the horrible frame rates which admittedly could be my GPU's even with two Geforce 650TiB im getting under 25fps with everything set to low and resolution at 1600x1080 thats right I cant even run at 1900+ yet my gpu's are only at 50-60% usage. Moving on this game has its share of bugs with in the first 10-20minutes of game play I was hanging on fences not a full foot off the ground. Falling through church roof tops trying to get a vantage point while evading mines that dont stay marked after you "Scout" them. This game goes so far as to have a gear reset quest, nothing as bad as giving you all the awesome gear then taking it away after a lengthy and unnecessary prologue that frankly I don't care about, which if this foreshadowing is any indicator the "Ghost" is the main protagonist's baby brother. The game actually has a quest that makes you give up all the gear that you have acquired and purchased and has at no point a POI, Quest (side-quest or main) that allows you to go back and pick everything back up that you put in a random dumpster under a windmill that has no discernible marker! I would have given this game a much higher score had it not forced a silencer mechanic into the game that didn't even need to be there in the first place!     I don't see what everyone's deal is with this game I loved every moment. I deducted one point because depleting silencers is stupid and unrealistic and the drone is a bit loose not fun to operate. Other than that if those issues were fixed this'd be a 10/10 for me.

You can compare this game with Far Cry 3 / 4 in a way, only that this game is at least 20 times worse.
    Graphics are mediocre too, very blurry, sh*t anti-aliasing, there's ton of graphical bugs even after all the patches.

    It's super monotonous game, not even worth buying during the sale. The only reason I'm giving it 4 out of 10 is that sniping was kind of fun, for a few hours... It gets boring after 5 hours or so and you'll just probably delete.    … Expand

    To the first two parts, I wrote that I do not understand such low ratings, because although there were some disadvantages, both games were interesting and beautiful in my opinion, and deserved a higher rating... But in this case, everything is just fine with the ratings. This game has become ... maybe not a complete disappointment, but still a regression compared to the previous ones.

    i have played this game for 36 hours, i played it from release date... but this is the worst 60 euros i have ever spend! the game is having a lot of bugs (still) and enemys despawn when you get over 350 meters away( most of the time)... its a sniper focused game, and you cant shoot people over 350 meters? this has been an issue since launch... i dont even wanna talk about the optimization,i have played this game for 36 hours, i played it from release date... but this is the worst 60 euros i have ever spend! the game is having a lot of bugs (still) and enemys despawn when you get over 350 meters away( most of the time)... its a sniper focused game, and you cant shoot people over 350 meters? this has been an issue since launch... i dont even wanna talk about the optimization, because... its kinda non existing... and the story, yeah... just forget about that one to!

    And I thought gta 5 loading screens were bad...

    Has so many errors, bugs, glitches, lags and crashes. It doesn't even work.

    Open world is empty. It's like far cry but less exciting.

    Still it is one of the only proper and decent sniper game in the market. There is not bad game underneath if you dig enough.

    If You are looking for a real Sniper experience - GW3 is the ONLY game which is providing it.
    The story, combined with the open world and no limitation of the approaching the completion of the objectives making this game absolutely king of the sniper games for PC.

    After trying the first and second installment, i wanted a third one that was similar to the second in terms of game design, but making it better. What i mean by that is, i wanted linear missions, with a linear story, without all the **** that comes from an open world.... And i dnd't get it.     Much worse than part 2. Stupid scripts, if you kill somebody to early or in wrong order the game cat stuck. The open map idea boring and not needed. When you soot sitting guy, he stands up to die. Better play part 2 or Sniper Elite.

    A slick sniping title in name, but one that also encourages creativity, delivers action, and demands adaptation, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is one hell of a ride. Although it has a lackluster story and a handful of minor issues, it’s still an immensely enjoyable separatist kill fest set in the gorgeous open-world landscapes of former Soviet Georgia.
