Люблю это ответвление от серии. Корень геймплея не отличается от 5 Цивилизации. Игра попроще своих братьев, но берет отлично выдержанным, уникальным настроением.

Definitely a step in the right direction though I really feel like this is what the vanilla game should have been because the game actually doesn't feel like Civ 5 in space right now. Ugh, the age of the DLCs. Anyway, the 30$ price kind of feels too much, so, either find a discount or wait for one. Well, yeah, it's good after all.

I really really wish Firaxis could give us an Alpha Centauri 2 but this will have to do for a "hardcore" scifi TBS game. Nice expansion nonetheless to breathe new life into Beyond Earth.

Ya this is a great step to improving this game but they still need to fix the core game since the AI is still dumb even on the hardest difficulty but that is all it really needs to improve.

This expansion significantly improves the original game, but with this being said, the game is still lacking. I still prefer Civilization 5. Rising Tide feels linear somehow and also quite static/boring.

Whilst this is a dlc headed in the right direction, the game still lacks that allure that drives you into playing over an extended amount of time, like its predecessor Civ 5 possesses. Balance changes has been made, making the game more of a challenge based on the difficulty you choose, making me actually fear the alien wildlife more than I would've were this the normal Civ:BE.

However, the new diplomatic system and the personalization options are either too complex or uninspired to give such a new mechanic any form of legitimacy as an alternate form as opposed to previous Diplo systems.
By all means, it is a good game, but I personally would not spend the amount of time I've invested in Civ 5 on this dlc.

This expansion enhances the gameplay in almost every way it needed help in. Watching reviews online I found IGN's to be the most inaccurate while Gamespot had a fairly honest take on the game.

This adds a huge amount of content and makes the first half of the game worth playing over and over again. I actually want to play this game now. That said, it's going to need some hot patches and patches for balance and bugs. For a one expansion Civilization game, this is a fantastic game that I expect to invest an unreasonable number of hours in.

Great expansion. Start of the game was quite monotone in the original and this upgrade fixes the problem. In addition new diplomacy, units, aliens, quests, exploration and other stuff.
I wasn't so excited when I've played the original.

Best. Great addon. Firaxis as always make bad game but great expansions. Absolutly worth buying for everyone who already spend their money for CIV:BE and for all CIV fans.

Better graphics, interesting factions. Diplomacy needs some tweaking, but is step to a right direction. Needs post game result screen. I personally enoyed it much. Dont care about the price tag. Better than CIV 5 at my opinion now.

This add on makes the game better. I liked the first installment, even being clear that it was a work in progress. Nothing wrong with that, it was a base where to grow based on players feedback and mods. (But hey, it could have been a little cheaper because of that, right?) Great idea, a way to make the game lasts and be tuned by the ones who actually play it.

Virtually everything on the game was upgraded. For better. The only thing I still miss is a clear indication of what developments will create Wonders. This was on the most popular mods for the first version, why wasnt added to the game?

Rising Tide didn’t even try to reignite my faded interest in Beyond Earth. [12/2015, p.71]

A good expansion, which should be owned by all Beyond Earth players. While adding only a water-based building and artifacts, it improves all the mechanics of the original game. [Issue#258]

Rising Tide only looks like a hefty expansion because it fails to breathe life into Beyond Earth.
