Truly Horrible, if these developers are allowed to make any more games please add a refund button on the menu screen. Horrible AI, Horrible hybrid unit power, no demographics, no point score, AI peace terms, unable to finish my first game because of boredom.

Please fire the current staff and bring back the guys that brought us all the amazing previous Civ Games!!!!

2K does not fix bugs. They use bells and whistles as money grabs. They treat their users poorly on the official forums, and on Steam they outright abuse people. The Civilization franchise is dead.

Sid Meier has come a long way since Civilization 1 and 2.

When game play and being the more innovative game was awarded has long passed and they release half ass games which should of been DLC for half the price, they release a reskin of a game as a new game.

2K and Civilization game series is dead to me.

Absolutely bland garbage. Every fault from vanilla BE is here. To queue, you must click 3 times and enter a city screen, no queuing from the map, and that was in CivIV! No "Rest until Healed", nothing. It is still filled with unnecessary animations. AI is as stupid as it was in BE. The game is just bad, bland and soulless. This game is a complete disappointment after CIV 5, even after the DLC, still no personification for the leaders of the civilizations, the aliens that were supposed to replace the barbarians in the new earth are either overpowered early game or slugs after a few advancements in technology.
Wars arent satisfying since AGAIN, leaders are COLD and don't talk, save your money, buy CIV 5

Rising Tide didn’t even try to reignite my faded interest in Beyond Earth. [12/2015, p.71]

A good expansion, which should be owned by all Beyond Earth players. While adding only a water-based building and artifacts, it improves all the mechanics of the original game. [Issue#258]

Rising Tide only looks like a hefty expansion because it fails to breathe life into Beyond Earth.
