    This short, poignant game follows a protagonist who suffers from Anorexia and depicts the daily struggles of people with Eating Disorders.This short, poignant game follows a protagonist who suffers from Anorexia and depicts the daily struggles of people with Eating Disorders.

    Little things like choosing from a menu at a restaurant or helping prepare dinner become significant and sometimes heartbreaking decisions in this compelling narrative. The writing here is on-point and is expertly complimented by nuanced audio and beautiful, hand-drawn art to coalesce into a painful, yet sensitive, Visual Novel.

    It’s clear that the purpose of this game is to highlight the challenges faced by those with Eating Disorders, and because of this, there is some graphic content and adult themes. The Content Warning here is valid.

    However, I commend the game for not shying away from its painful subject matter and Shrinking Pains acts as a pertinent reminder to try and support those we love who have Eating Disorders.    … Expand
