This game inspired a sense of wonder, curiosity and adventure that I've not experienced the like of in a video game since.

The level of polish found in Seiklus had not been seen in a free-to-play downloadable PC game upon its release. In Seiklus you don't fight and you don't die. You don't have powers. You don't encounter bosses. You don't gain levels. You don't beat levels. You collect little floating bug-like objects of various colors--collect them all and you win the game. Sounds simple enough? Well, it is. And yet, Seiklus is so much more. The atmosphere of the world, from the cartoonish art style to the fantastic chip-tune music, draws the player into an experience rarely had in games. For the fast action-craving audience that defines most gaming today (or even back in 2003 when it was released), it may not look, sound, or feel like much. For those who can appreciate the simpler, finer things in gaming, Seiklus is worth every minute. Expand
