    1. The plot is extremely boring
    2. Graphics - still in 2011 but with improved lighting
    3. Gameplay - ABSOLUTELY nothing has changed for the fourth game in a row

    Its not saint row very bad characters like they are mannequins , really it looks like a parody game of saints row made my a indie , one of worst games of all time

    I made the mistake of pre-ordering the deluxe version of this game, based on the Saints Row name. To give you an idea of how awful it is - I saw that new DLC had been released so I started reinstalling the game. Halfway through the install, I decided that I couldn't be bothered wasting another minute playing such a bland, unenjoyable mess, so I just deleted it.     The actual core concept of students having to rely on criminality to be able to pay off student debt is a very interesting concept. However.. this game is like a Netflix adaptation of the real Saints Row. This game is watered down compared to the earlier Saints Row games and the main characters look like whimps who get offended by everything. This game is a complete garbage.     As a huge fan of SR2, III and IV, I have to admire this game is so terrible that I dropped it after 2 hours (wanted to do it earlier but franchise had a very nice credit of trust). Some of the previous parts were so ahead of time and addictive af, this one feels like a fanmade stuff from 2004 or smth (in a terrible way).

    Game play is mediocre. Even after a full year after release buggy. Sky is different shades of Purple and blues?? and cars sounds non existent. Too bad because the first Saints Row ever was great. Time to let this series die out.

This is, of course, an excellent way to either say that you haven't played another game in that time, or that the studio is paying to shill for them. It now has a rating of 65 by the way...     It's telling that the cowardly sack of excrement releasing sales figures won't give an answer about how many copies this game has sold. More importantly, it's been admitted to be a flop and I'd honestly be surprised if it broke even. The other games were good and funny. Having to listen to some dip****s complain about student loans, THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO HAVE SIGNED FOR, makes the admission that they are complete and total morons unsurprising. I'm guessing that's the crowd they were shooting for with this. Maybe take a look at WHY the original was so popular and try to go that route, rather than a bunch of whiny 20 year olds.    … Expand

    I have a lot of lags and bugs on 3060ti. at the end of the game missions are very boring, the storyline is interesting but at the end too, especially stop watching him. If you make a normal optimization game will be more less.

    Game made by complete no-talents for completely radical Tumblr reps. There's nothing good about this game.
    The story is abusive to the legacy of the series, the characters are repugnant, the gameplay is the worst ever, and nothing is fun at all.

    This is an actual **** sandwhich. The buggy mess of unplayable and unfun missions are the kicker on this... idk what this is.. I would say this has like 1 or 2 people working on it at most. The original Volition crew couldn't have made this.. No way. This is like an 8 year old wrote everything, but even 8 year olds have more imagination.

    The game lacks a lot of the sharpness and charm of the originals and replaces it with awful game breaking glitches, not the fun kind that can be found in the previous games but the kind that make you sigh and realise the whole thing is a scam. The characters are truly vomit inducing as well.

    With time and most bugs fixed, it could be a half decent game (5 out of 10 if bought at 60% off) if they had given it another name. The game doesn't look like the original and looks terrible when compared.

    They did it again !! They somehow managed to destroy everything people loved about the Saints Row franchise in an attempt to force their woke messages through to the players. The characters were bland with no personality, the dialogue was outrageous and the plot was outright terrible.

    On the technical side of things, the game was riddled with bugs (both small to game breaking), there were frequent texture pop ins, graphics looked like something straight out of the PS3 era. Most of the open world was barren and empty, driving similarly was also pretty bad and other gameplay mechanics like melee and shooting were severely unpolished.

    The soundtrack was decent to good for the most part. The character creation suite was the most enjoyable part of the whole game for me, which in itself says a lot about this game.

    All in all Saints Row is most definitely in contention for the worst AAA game of 2022. It also does not help when the community manager for the game cannot take any valid criticism from the fans and proceeds to label anyone who disagrees with her about the characters, 'sexists' and also calls the longtime fans of the franchise 'terrorists' and wants them to not support the franchise anymore.    … Expand

    There are about 10 missions in the whole game... You go straight for the other "gangs" and end them after creating the saints... yeah... pathetic excuse for a game and anyone who thought this would be an amazing game while working on it should get out of game development, 80 dollar price tag for a mobile game at most, might as well just throw in ads after every few steps

    I had very low expectation for this game. I thought I could still enjoy it a little while waiting for other AAA titles to release, but I was wrong. The story, characters, missions are boring as expected, but the most disappointing thing is the combat. They put a a health bar on top of every enemies like a rpg game so one head shot isn't enough to kill an enemy. That make this into a veryI had very low expectation for this game.     Only positive about this game is that the devs have made Saint's Row 4 look better than ever with this dumpster fire.

    Literally just a poor man's GTA clone minus all the good stuff, would've been average perhaps as a stand-alone game if it come out ten years ago, but now it is insulting to be called a "Saint's Row" game and insulting for a AAA company to release this in 2022.

That is pretty much the dialogue of this cringe fest of a game, The developers obviously don't care about the original fans when they inflict this abomination onto the world, The game is still over the top, but with no likable characters, the story is paper thin, the protagonists are Gen-Z & boy do they let you know itEver wanted to play as an outraged Twitter user? No! Argh! Triggered. That is pretty much the dialogue of this cringe fest of a game, The developers obviously don't care about the original fans when they inflict this abomination onto the world, The game is still over the top, but with no likable characters, the story is paper thin, the protagonists are Gen-Z & boy do they let you know it with the dialogue being so woke & embarrassingly ham fisted in its delivery I stopped playing after 6 hours, not just the terrible dialogue & characters but the fact the game crashes every 20 minutes or so, I gave up after around a dozen crashes in the game, unfortunately I will not be able to get a refund for this game, I should have known as it was released with little fanfare or advertisement & I see why now… Expand

    A totally unnecessary reboot. Not to say the game isn't fun. It is. Again, it's pure escapism that exists just so you can fool around with a bunch of weapons and vehicles and not have to think about it. The problem is that previous installments have done the same thing - and infinitely better. [Issue#322]

    There’s a weight of history behind Saints Row, and no matter whether you’re comparing it to the more serious early games or the sillier later ones, it’s pretty clear that the Saints Row reboot doesn’t live up to any of them.

    A newcomer would be shocked by crude animations, wonky physics and bad gunplay. Fans of the franchise are kinda used to that, but they’ll be disappointed for another reason: while Saints Row 2022 does have a few fun moments, most of them are blatantly ripped from previous games of the series.
