Jul 20, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a leaner, meaner take on the RoboCop: Rogue City formula, trading bloated exposition and side content for focused, explosive action in a tight and stylish setting. It may not satisfy those who loved the slower, narrative-driven moments of the original, but for fans seeking a distilled and more mechanically satisfying Rogue City experience, this expansion delivers. With stronger level design, better pacing, and an atmosphere evoking the best of ’80s action, it’s a clear improvement.

Jul 17, 2025Essentially, if you enjoyed RoboCop: Rogue City, then grab RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business, as it’s essentially more of the same but with some tweaks here and there. If you haven’t played the original but you’d like to play a game in which you get to be RoboCop, either is fine, but certainly grab a copy, as it’s a lot of fun!

Aug 10, 2025There's a lot to love in this expandalone, with many hours of fun shootouts, crime solving and cheesy one-liners
-
Jul 18, 2025Unfinished Business an easy recommendation to both newcomers and series veterans alike. Whether you've played RoboCop: Rogue City or not, you can come into Unfinished Business and expect to have an absolute blast with the moment-to-moment gameplay, cementing it as a worthy follow-up to one of the most surprising FPS titles of the last few years.
-
Jul 17, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business refines the explosive action of its base game with a tightly focused narrative, intense gunplay, and immersive environmental storytelling. While some technical issues persist, the DLC delivers a satisfying and thematically rich return to Old Detroit.
-
Jul 17, 2025In the end, RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is a solid and more focused version of the kind of things offered by the main game. The story is straightforward but good, while the flashbacks become essential to the story instead of acting as diversions. While the gameplay remains relatively unchanged, it is still a thrill to walk around as a nearly invincible metallic man. The addition of the cryo cannon is neat, even if you might not use it all that much. The game does lack polish in places, but the solid shooting and darkly humorous interactions with the tower's populace will make you more forgiving of some of the visual anomalies. If you're a fan of the franchise or shooters in general, you'll have some fun with Unfinished Business.
-
Aug 7, 2025Unfinished Business plays it safe, delivering a solid dose of bloody action, gritty one-liners, and stylish destruction. The main storyline impresses with its atmosphere and presentation, while fans will appreciate the new weapons, enemies, and the nostalgic return of Peter Weller. Unfortunately, the side content feels like unnecessary filler that breaks the pacing and undermines Robo's authority and impact. For die-hard fans, it's a welcome expansion, for everyone else, a slightly above-average action snack.
-
Jul 29, 2025Without reinventing the formula, Unfinished Business delivers exactly where it matters: a concentrated dose of retro, brutal, and stylish action that stays true to the spirit of RoboCop. By narrowing its focus, the game improves its pacing, clarity, and overall impact. The fan service is there, the shooting is satisfying, and despite a few bugs and aging tech, the experience holds up.

Jul 28, 2025Is it flawless? Not quite. The new weapons are hit-or-miss, the flashbacks drag, and the performance issues are a blemish on an otherwise polished expansion. But in those moments when you’re stomping down a fluorescent-lit corridor, Auto 9 roaring, as RoboCop delivers a dry one-liner before blasting a goon’s head clean off—it’s pure, unfiltered nostalgia. For anyone who found themselves unexpectedly hooked by Teyon’s take on RoboCop the first time around, Unfinished Business is a worthwhile detour. It doesn’t aim to revolutionize the formula, but it doesn’t need to. It’s not a bold new chapter—it’s a brutal encore. And for fans of chrome-plated justice, that’s more than enough.
-
Jul 17, 2025Better paced than its big brother and more technically stable, RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is a nice last hurrah for Teyon's super-cop. Oh, sure, the plot is a few lines long, the references to the various films are a bit too clumsy and we're left with the feeling that the studio is really reaching the end of the line with this franchise, but there are still 8 hours of explosive and stupidly enjoyable action interspersed with sarcastic oneliners and polished visuals. At a reasonable price (€29.99), we don't ask for much more...

Jul 21, 2025Unfinished Business is not a disaster, but neither is it something that will stick in the memory of RoboCop fans. It's a conservative expansion, merely replicating on a smaller scale what worked in the base game, but without adding enough personality to make it an essential purchase. The feel is still the right one thanks to exhilarating action sequences and - why not? - to a few moments of genuine videogame ingenuity, but the flat pace, repetitiveness and bland setting soon dampen enthusiasm. It will please those who want to make the trusty Auto-9 sing one last time, but those hoping for truly meaningful content would do well to lower their expectations.
-
Aug 8, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is more of the brutal, authentic RoboCop power fantasy fans loved when it comes to its intense combat. Gunplay is as meaty and over-the-top as before for the series, with the iconic Auto 9 still stealing the show. However, the expansion comes with some uneven pacing and technical issues that weren’t present in the original. It’s one for fans of the first game’s action but be prepared for a few rough edges in its current state.
