Overall, Road Redemption is a brilliantly fun spiritual successor to the Road Rash series, and absolutely exceeded my expectations. Its exhilarating, and surprisingly tactical gameplay compensate for lackluster visuals and a few environmental collision issues. Road Redemption is an absolute blast to play, and I thoroughly recommend it.

Honestly, if you’re a fan of Road Rash you really must check Road Redemption out. Fast, brutal and huge amounts of fun, it hits all the right notes to make it an unmissable slice of arcade racing with an abundance of combat. It looks nice, has a rocking soundtrack and a surprising amount of depth. A Road Rash fan really couldn’t ask for more.

Road Redemption's flaws seem irrelevant next to the raw amusement it offers. From its rogue-like campaign to its online or split-screen multiplayer, it is an incredibly successful spiritual successor to Road Rash and a worthy remastering of that carefree 90s Arcade gameplay.

For as much as I loved Road Rash, it would be hard to go back to after playing Road Redemption. This feels like the worthy successor Road Rash has always deserved. It was a little gem of a series lost in time; the only thing missing is the corny FMV cutscenes.

Spiritual successor it may be, but Road Redemption does one thing very differently: unlike Road Rash, it offers a roguelike experience with procedurally generated mini-campaigns. [Issue#226, p.56]

Road Redemption, despite having a few flaws, nonetheless impresses with its sound gameplay mechanics, strong customization system, and great performance.

The spiritual successor of Road Rash, Road Redemption, offers tons of unadulterated fun. Many may find its driving too Arcady for their taste, but the rogue-like campaign experience and the tense off-road battles reward the player. The beautiful OST and a very nice old school oriented couch co-op give the game some extra lift.

An enjoyable game that unfortunately gets repetitive in a long run. [13/2017, p.63]

Road Redemption can be a nice game for people who enjoyed the original Road Rash. If you are not one of them, you may be disappointed.

The updated graphics and physics engine are sure to bring enjoyment and laughs. Road Redemption builds on a relatively simple concept that has worked in the past, repackages it, and allows the unpredictability of other players a large selection of tracks, bikes, and riders in online death races to round out a uniquely enjoyable experience.

This may not be the best classic revival around, but Road Redemption is a lot of fun with a pretty well implemented roguelike system. The inclusion of multiplayer is also sure to make this a great party game for some like-minded friends.

Road Redemption comes full of entertainment and is a great Road Rash successor thanks to a local multiplayer mode and an online mode that gives us hours and hours of fun, although its difficulty could be too hard for a lot of people.

The worst problem is the lack of content. Motorcycles are few in number and their stats are pretty much the same, maps are bland, and textures look like they were optimized for PS3. After 4–5 hours you will drown in monotony.

When it’s not crashing, Road Redemption offers perfect bite-sized pieces of vehicular mayhem. It’s loud and bloody and raw, and the dated graphics only increase the grit and messiness. With a few fixes, this could be an all-time classic of the genre, rather than the deeply flawed romp that it is.

Road Redemption isn’t what I hoped it would be, and that may not be entirely the game’s fault. Nostalgia can be a cruel mistress. However, the flaws on show here do prevent the game from standing up on its own, and although it can be fun and engaging sometimes, I would recommend waiting for a price drop before picking it up.

Road Redemption’s combat is a good but short-lived bit of manic fun, but it didn’t offer enough to keep me engaged through the majority of the 13 hours I put into it, and I’m honestly not sure if that would change even with the addition of more to do.

Road Redemption is a fantastic game to play when it works, when it does not it becomes the most frustrating game I have played in a while. The systems in place will at times not give the player a chance to recover or in some extreme cases races are lost before they even begin. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Road Redemption but I cannot forgive some of its technical flaws and because of that I cannot see myself returning to play this title unless these problems are solved.

A deeply flawed attempt to revive Road Rash, that gets the fighting right but crashes out when it comes to the racing and graphics.

A scrappy tribute to the long-lost Road Rash series whose raw spirit just about overcomes its shortcomings.

This is a grate homage to Road Rash, anyone who played it should give this a "spin".

It was like i could feel a great maschine vibrating in my pants, even thou i wasn't actually sitting on a Motorcycle. I could feel something poke into my back when chat was riding backseat gaming.

Lots of replayability with the experience and lots of insta gratification with the campaign currency.

My personal opinion, the game is not OK.
    - Graphics is like CS:Source. It's not beautiful but take too much system resource while running.

    - Gameplay, item... are poor.
    - Physics simulation is terrible.
In conclusion, the first RR is better!
