    Fantastic game, fun and beautiful. On pc this game is very scalable and you don't have to feel kak about dropping settings to medium or even low if you have a lower end PC. It even looks good on low settings. Low doesn't look terrible at all. I have a fairly good gaming pc and a pretty much average laptop and am enjoying it on both. A lot are of people are also enjoying it on Steam Deck asFantastic game, fun and beautiful. If you have an older mid range PC that can handle Ray tracing I recommend medium or even low settings for everything else and having ray tracing as high as possible. But even without Ray tracing the visuals are still sweet, just not as sweet. If you are not getting good performance out of this game it is only because your pride / ego is compelling you to try to run settings as high as possible when your rig can't handle it, or you have a seriously potato PC that isn't meant for 3d gaming. Sony / Sony developers are apparently king when it comes to making good looking games scalable to be played and enjoyed by as many gamers as possible.… Expand

    Gaming in all it's glory! Looking at the graphics I can't tell this is 2 years old game from PS5...absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD. Gameplay? Mechanics are so fluid, so innovative, so inspirational and so fun that you can't let the game go...you need to try some more and something new. Level design mostly spectacular. Audio flawless - tested on 5,1 and Crusher EVO    This is IT!!!

    I don’t understand everyone marking the game down because they keep experiencing crashes , I’ve only a midrange laptop played for hours and not one issue everything on high getting 60 plus frames , great game made even greater on the pc …

    Great PC port. First game on PC to use DirectStorage with GPU decompression.

    Looks much better than on PS5.

    The gameplay is outstanding, the characters are extremely likable, and it runs great on PC (unless you're using a hard drive with less than 7200RPM)

    Once again Sony delivers. Rift Apart (when using an SSD) is an amazing game and arguably one of the most genuine fun games you'll play in 2023. Worth every penny!

    Der Grafikanspruch ist vor allem mit Raytracing sehr hoch, aber das lohnt sich auch! In jeder Hinsicht eine Augenweide. Die Charaktere sind vom Design und der Persönlichkeit fantastisch geworden. Super Movement und Handhabung, einfach ein perfektes Gameplay. Es gibt enorm viele Waffen, die alle besonders sind, gelevelt und im Kampf mit Anderen gut    Das beste Spiel der neuen Generation!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First impression:

    Fcking awesome, i felt like i play the OG back in 2005 as a 6 years old kid. By just this i will give it a 10. Crashes will be fixed later prolly, i dont really care about it.

    The good:

    It brought back good memories as i expected.
    The only thing im missing is the OP tesla coil, man, that was a banger, this lightning rod even on lvl5 or on 10 is hot garbage.
    The controls are so much better on kb+m than on a controller, no cap. I was so hyped i played through 1-3 on PCSX2 before it got released.
    The GOLDEN BOLTS are nuts. Theres 25 and it gives a lot of good stuff to the gaming experience and customization. 23 gives infinite health and 24 gives infinite ammo(really cool stuff, not many games has this **** 25 gives gold weapons, so cool and easily accessible. I found 21-22 on my own, so its not even hard. The spybots on the other hand is a lil bit harder(do side quests), but def worth it, RYNO FOR FREE, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This type of RYNO really break the game apart.
    The armors are really cool, i dont really have a favourite cause all of them looks nice, but the Wasteland set is my #1(with the pirate helmet it is cool also, just like the set helmet). The bonuses they give are a lil bit underwhelming and also half of the armors doesnt even give a bonus like, why tf? Theres an armor that you can recollect and it now gives a bonus!? It is really unnecessary. They could just give it a new look or nothing at all.

    The bad:

    I have the game cracked and it crashes sometimes, mostly in the arenas, if i turn down the graphics a little it doesnt crash(with like 150 fps it goes). I will definitely buy this in the near future, or wait a lil for a discount, also for them to fix the crashes.(I dont buy anything till i tried the cracked version).
    It doesnt really have a bad thing though, some lil negatives here and there.
    For example the leveling on some weapons weapons, there are weapons that you can level up to 5 than to 10 in like 5-10 mins of using that specific weapon only, but there are ones that literally takes forever compared to the others even to lvl5 not talking about the lvl10. Theres that weapon that throws those storming blades what fly around enemies and occasionally hit them, it literally doesnt have dmg on anything that is not one hit with the wrench, so you can empty the whole weapon on 2-3 enemies and lets say you can barely kill the 3rd while it has 200 ammo that takes forever to shot out.    … Expand

    It's a nice pc port. Nixxes are goats! the game is very fun! many different and unique weapons made the game even more fun! Story was nice too! the rift scenes were awesome, and they did a really good job at making this game!

    This is probably the only next gen title even after 2 year and one of the best ratchet and clank game. With a great weapon selection, an even more refined combat system and the best looking game even 2 year after its release. The pc port is really good and makes your experience even better if you have a strong pc. Play this game and you will never regret it.

    Playing on a Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 4080, DLSS/frame gen on, RT On, max graphics, the game runs FANTASTIC for me. It is so smooth and looks unbelievable. Ratchet and Clank will always be my favourite game series.

    Amazing game. Beautiful art with nice graphics. Unique and fun run and gun gameplay. Fantastic writing, voice over, and story. There were some crashes on release but all of those have been fixed. This is definitely one of the best PC games of the year.

    I played it on ps5 which I sold as redundant and now could play it again on pc, on pc it looks even better and more immersive, the closest I saw to cartoons.

    Game is fun to play and even story is interesting, for me it was a good purchase. No bugs, no issues but only fun time. After tlou that was falling appart I had a hard time even purchasing it but for me it is working.     Encouraging decision for Sony to start imitating MS and releasing their games on PC, but by placing artificial delays they are missing huge chunk of sales as simply no marketing budget for pc is visible, while MS is smartly capturing pc audience by launching games on same day. For sony no one knows if games will come to pc and even when they do, it is really low level and who even cares about old games launched at least a year ago,and usualy much more. I know this game from ps5 so hence why I bought it, otherwise it would go under my radar, as judgung by steam numbers it went for most of pc gamers.    … Expand

    This port runs pretty good. I am using a AMD RX 6600 with 32 GB of RAM. I did have some issues where the graphics would stutter during some of the rift loading times. But at worst it only froze for a few seconds. But this is my favorite PS5 game. It is fantastic, possibly the best game in the series. If your still having trouble getting a PS5 and you really want to play this game, thenThis port runs pretty good. I am using a AMD RX 6600 with 32 GB of RAM. The feeling that remains is that the characters could be better used here. And while upgrades happen for both Lombaxs, Ratchet and Rivet have distinct personalities, making them complex. Another positive point is that the game isRatchet & Clank: In Another Dimension enchants for its fluidity in the gameplay and its beautiful graphics, even if the plot does not have the same quality. The feeling that remains is that the characters could be better used here. And while upgrades happen for both Lombaxs, Ratchet and Rivet have distinct personalities, making them complex. Another positive point is that the game is entirely in Portuguese, with a dubbing that fits very well with the characters.

    The title, despite not being very long, is a must buy for anyone who loves the platform genre. If your PC is not a powerful machine, there are several upscaling modes that will help you to run the game satisfactorily.     I believe Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart’s PC debut to be largely successful, provided you have an SSD in your PC. Reports indicate that hard drives don’t fare too well with the game’s demanding system requirements, and my own experiences in trying to find the right balance of visual fidelity and acceptable performance definitely corroborate those reports. If you can manage to jump over the proverbial hurdle of needing a relatively beefy system to play, however, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is quite easily well worth your time, thanks to its endless charm, gorgeous visuals, and fun gameplay.    … Expand

    This is a great game. The gameplay is a clear evolution from the previous game, I love the new movement system, especially the Phantom Dash. The story is great, and I love all the new characters (especially Rivet, hehe). I only give it a 9 since it did crash a few times, and there is a few minor glitches with the PC port of this game, but overall I had a great experience, and I even 100This is a great game.     the game is not perfect, there are repetitive frenzied bosses, side quests with gathering (more like a minus for me personally), but if not for such games to forgive cons, then what?

    Even on PC, Rift Apart is still fantastic after 2 years to its release. Gameplay is great, visuals are fantastic, graphics are fantastic depending on your PC, being Steam Deck verified is awesome, and overall, either PS5 or PC, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart still knows how to make it fantastic even after 2 years from the release on PlayStation 5. Give it a 9 out of 10.

And there are enough battles here, so get ready to hit and shoot a lot, but the abundance of special effects pleases the eye and creates epic. There are enough types of weapons in the game, and you will have to change them often, because bullets often run out (again reminds the situation with DOOM), each weapon is improved both by level and by characteristics. The characters are very cool, nice looking and memorable. Especially the new heroine Rivet, who has a charming appearance and a nice voiceover.
    The game left a huge imprint in my soul, one of the best projects I played.
    The game deserves your attention and passage, port is very satisfied, I hope Sony will continue to please with similar games.    … Expand

    update 1.815 has solved all my crashes. The game is stable now. I hope it will be like this until the end. Well done Nixxes Software. With previous versions it was crashing all the times with my i5 2500, despite my new Rtx 4060 Ti

    Merci pour la mise à jour. Ca marche maintenant avec la version 1815 du jeu, pas de crashes. Jusqu'à ce moment, mon processeur Intel i7-3770 n'etait pas capable à garder le jeu stable et il se fermait automatiquement avec un error report. Maintenant je peux enfin profiter du jeu, les graphismes sont spectaculaires avec ma Radeon RX 6800

    The successful port brought a game to PC that simply isn't available on Steam or the Epic Game Store. Seriously, you just can't get a game like this on PC. Accessible, entertaining in every aspect, funny, cleverly written and acted, audiovisually awesome. This is a AAA production with everything you expect from it. [Issue#329]

    Not that being more emotional and being fun are mutually exclusive – as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart proves time and again. As the series enters into its third (!!!) decade, this PC port is a fine way to show that the Ratchet and Clank are still compelling characters, and even if there are a few points where it feels like the game could use a little more polish in terms of performance, they can’t take away the fact that Rift Apart is an outstanding game.
