  • Summary: The first ?historic" rally simulation. The game includes 12 classic racecars such as the Ford Cortina, the Fiat 600 Abarth and the Morris Mini Cooper, all of which have been modelled in great detail and extremely realistically. [JoWood Productions]

Rarely has the rally ethic been so faithfully re-created, with careful attention paid to the endurance-intensive realism of off-road competition. [Apr 2002, p.80]
  3. One of the great pure driving games of the new millennium.
  4. If you are looking for a diverse lot of cars and some stunningly beautiful roads to drive them on, then Rally Trophy is squarely at the front of the rallying pack.

It distinguishes itself from the pack by its visual effects, excellent physics, and a longing backward glance at vintage cars. [Apr 2002, p.106]

The developer's first baby possesses a real joie de vivre and handles like a dream.

A superb game that offers an unusual alternative to the more technology packed offerings like McRae and Pro Rally.

Graphics are outdated by now but is still very good for such an old game. Cars can be hard to control sometimes but offers nice feeling to the driving experience.

I recommend the game although it is very old.

Excellent playability. Simulation level is ok for it's time, although not perfect by todays standards, but playability is just Excellent playability. Simulation level is ok for it's time, although not perfect by todays standards, but playability is just hilarious, there is lots of feeling to the driving! Simply still one of the very best LAN rally games! Graphics are outdated by now, but still gorgeous and realistic, and work very well for the driving experience. And on the plus: today the graphics just fly, no lagging or stuttering! Even in single play it just very very fun - so many racing games are only good, but they are not fun. This is. Expand
